Chapter 3: Journey To Epsilon (2)

As the distant sun struggles to free her breast from the horizon, as its rays color the land and sky in a gentle mix of orange and yellow, all the while overshadowing the darkness of the passing night.

The angels in sexy lingerie fly over the vast lands of breast and ass. The neko girls prance along the grazing cow cosplayers.

Here, in a little farmstead, was a half-naked man tending to his crops and cattle. He had awoken early for today was harvest season. Months of work for this year's bountiful harvest.

Alas, he would have to control himself. It is by tradition that he must harvest his crops when sun strikes noon. So for now, he's tending to the fields and animals.

As he walked down the alley of boob-carrots, he spots something out of the ordinary. Something white flowly flutters towards him.

It's cotton frills flap gently as it approached him. It's intoxicating aroma pierces the air, bellowing Elidor to come closer.

He slowly closed the distance between him and this majestic artifact. He payed no mind to the boob-carrots or pusstatoes being trampled under foot.

Pink fog in the form of a human hand caress the side of Elidor's face. Soon another hand caresses the other side, the lingerie angels descend down, and played their angelic tune. chibi succubi crawl out of their burrows to dance in a circle around the peliphery of Elidor and the sacred object.

The sun shone brighter as Elidor steadily approached to grab the floating panty, I mean holy object. Cold sweat raced down his forehead as his hands trembled as if it was in a earthquake.

His breath was heavy, his hands trembling, his body drenched in sweat, and his nerves unsteady. Elidor was nervous.

As his hands inched closer to the prize, a drop of sweat trailed down his chin, and unto midnight-black hair.

"Hey!" A petite voice yelled from below while simultaneously snapping Elidor from his stupor. He looked down and saw bright crimson eyes staring angrily into his. The little girl's face furrowed harder before she yelled. "Stupid pig, wake up!"

Elidor did not have the time to react for as soon as she yelled, he felt that someone had just used his precious jewels as a punching bag.

Elidor shot awake, and his body kneeling over from the pain. "See it worked." Ambrosia told the group. The others looked at each other, unable to say anything.

"Ambrosia you bitch!" Elidor exclaimed while still holding unto the remains of his bloodline. He grit his teeth in pain before sending a death glare to ambrosia.

Ambrosia did not like, so she sent a punch to his face. Though she was never able to throw one since Zarrix held her back.

"Hands off me you sex addicted being!" she yelled at Zarrix while struggling to break free from his hold. Zarrix was indifferent.

"Why do you always want to kill him? How much of a grudge do you hold?" Zarrix questioned while forcing her to sit down on a log to calm her self.

"Teddy would never be avenged if there's a single breathe inside his body." Ambrosia muttured while begrudgingly sat down. She then looked at Zarrix in the eyes and said. "As punishment for getting in the way of my revenge you are now my slave."

"No." Zarrix sternly said. He turned around and walked towards his backpack. "Fucking bitch...." He muttured while putting on his bag.

"Hey I heard you you perverted deviant!" Ambrosia angrily yelled at Zarrix, before berating him to follow her every command from now on, and that he is not allowed to eat tonight for his folly.

"She definitely has a screw lose." Azreal said as she wiped the dirt off her shoes.

"Don't be so mean to her...." William defended.

"Mean? That bitch probably didn't even get enough air when she was born!" Elidor groaned. Looking around to find his precious baby, Doom spiral, near Jeevan, who was checking whether or not the fire was properly put out.

Elidor gestured Jeevan to give him doom spiral. Jeevan handed it over after awhile." If not, she probably misunderstood when her mom told her she was special"

It was at this moment Elidor noticed Ambrosia violently thrashing around while being suspended mid-air due to Zarrix holding her back from attacking him.

Elidor sent a nod to Zarrix, though he did not notice due to the repeated blows to his head from Ambrosia, though they didn't hurt, it was still hard to focus.

"All right." Azreal called the attention of the group, who in turn stopped whatever they were doing. "I want this trip to Epsilon as uneventful as possible."

"considering that we already have to face magic beast, devil monster, wild undead, and potential raid groups." she listed off a few potential adversaries.

She looked around the group of individuals while a headache slowly creeped. "zyawey zfelp ze" she muttured.

"Let's go." Azreal told the group. William and Jeevan looked towards each other before shrugging then followed suit. Zarrix slowly put down Ambrosia, she huffed before glaring at Elidor, who in turn pulled out a middle finger before running away.

Ambrosia was about to chase after him, although was stopped by Zarrix, who grasped her shoulder firmly before shaking his head.

She sighed and caught up with the rest with Zarrix. Elidor checked doom spiral, his Lance, one last time for any chips or cracks, and after finding none he ran towards the group.

And so the group embarks on their epic journey! What lays ahead of them? Only fate could tell. May the gods bless this group on their epic journey to Epsilon!

Who am I kidding? The journey is likely to be mundane. Yes, there is a chance to encounter bandits and wild beast, but they would most likely be very weak.

Throughout the journey most Bandit groups would be gunned down with by rubber bullets, crippled by the weapons of the group, knocked out by gas from Zarrix canisters, or wouldn't even dare approach them due to Zarrix.

Also, magical creatures are technically minsters, they don't have many rights to begin with, meaning the moment they attack they get sent to pearly white gates of which ever religious path they happened to stumble upon.

The group would exchange words for a bit to alleviate the awkward atmosphere, but it wouldn't last long before everything becomes quiet.

Well most of the group didn't care, only 2 people were actually bothered by it. One being Jeevan who hasn't had any sentient contact other than the people in his neighborhood, and the other being William who was complaining to Jeevan about how boring the trip is.

"There isn't a single strong monsterrrr" William complained, simultaneously irritating the rest of the group.

"Aren't adventures supposed to be fun and exciting? Like where is the 100 pack monsters that somehow appeared out of nowhere and for some reason happened to have stumbled upon us?"

Jeevan and Ambrosia rolled their eyes, Azreal had a migraine, Elidor was inching closer to murder, while Zarrix picked his words carefully as to not hurt William to much with a reality check.

"Well-" Zarrix was cut off by Ambrosia. "That nonexistent situation only exist in amateurish novels written by depressed and lonely teenagers driven only by their hormones and never by their rationality and reasoning." Ambrosia sneered at the thought.

(why my character be calling me out like that :( )

"Aren't you being a little mean?" William replied, while Elidor in the background could be heard saying. "hey atleast you know how you write."

Ambrosia paid no mind to the idiot for if she did, she's sure her IQ would drop with every word until she's half as smart as a earth worm.

"I'm not mean, I was merely being logical." Ambrosia replied. The rest of the group had different opinions though, but did not voice them out loud.

"let's say that a large hunting pack of.... Dreadwolves, yes, let's go with that." Ambrosia nodded in agreement to her own sentence.

"a large hunting pack of around a hundred or so dreadwolves was on the hunt right now, or even expanding the borders of their territory. Anyway, they happen to have encountered us on the way. They all come to a consensus and surround all of us, once we are within the encirclement, they all pounce at us, teeth bared and claws outstretched."

"Now us, as the great protagonists, we are supposed to fight them, do amazing and undeniably 'cool' moves, and SOMEHOW beat and survive with only a few scratches, maybe lose a limb or two." Ambrosia stopped and looked at William who was nodding at the idea of all of them fighting dreadwolves.

"Did I accurately guess your daring and adventurous power fantasy?" Ambrosia questioned William, who in reply pulled a thumbs up.

"heh, I'm going to tell you why that's never the case. One, if we encounter a hundred dreadwolves, heck, if we even encounter 20 dreadwolves, we would be eviscerated. They will break us off and pick us off one by one, starting with the gra'ark here. Two, if we somehow not stray apart, doing cool flips and tricks would be a waste of time and energy, if you do a flip during a frenzy, you'll most likely be bitten to death MIDAIR." Ambrosia yelled while she bonked William in the head.

"No matter how powerful you are. Ants can still bite an elephant to death." Ambrosia said sternly while William rubbed the his head in pain.

"What a bitch....." Jeevan whispered to Zarrix, who in question nodded in agreement.

"This is reality human, grow up from your delusions." She looked down on William as if he was a piece of shit on her shoe.

"There is nothing you can do about it, there will never be someone there to save you. You can only save yourself. This is a cruel human" Ambrosia balled her hands into fist  as past memories flashed through her mind.

But before she could reminiscent the past. A man who wore a brown trench coat, that reached his knees, approached the group.

Behind him, his posse of fully armed men follow closely. Each of them wore brown uniforms, Muddy black boots, and brown ball cap.

The man in the trenchcoat scanned the group up and down, taking note of their appearance down to the smallest atom. His dull brown eyes looked for any of their strengths and weaknesses, his eyes jumping from one person to the next from the slightest of twitch.

He was about to ask where the group was heading, but stopped himself when he remembered the white envelope sticking out of the pocket of the demon. So he changed his question.

"Tell me, are you all going to Epsilon's entrance ceremony?" He questioned his voice cold and held judgement.

The group exchanged looks before Azreal spoke up. "Yes, yes we are sir." She said while eyeing the man up and down. Then she saw it, a golden emblem, with the depiction of a rising sun with a line of heavy artillery pointing outwards carved into it.

Her eyes widened when she realized who this was, she wasn't the only one for Elidor, Ambrosia, and Jeevan also figured it out. The person in front of them was the high General of the western region.

Surpreme General. Cornelius Theodore, Leader of the west, Sovereign of destruction.

(I plan on adding my own drawing for practice in the near future but for now have this :])

His figure was now more imposing than ever, which made the 4 people who had recognized him to take a step back.

Elidor glanced towards Jeevan and whispered. "you know Cornelius? I thought you were some loser who hasn't come out of the house for years?"

"My grandpa is a military fanatic. He hammered the names and tactics of great war lords into my brain and gave me my allowance everytime I guessed a question of his right, most of his questions were about some kind of general of some shit."

While Elidor and Jeevan whispered to one another, William wondered why was everyone other than him were acting kinda strange. 'is he a super villain? Wait no they might be a very powerful good guy, but is secretly a bad guy or he has a very dark past. But don't bad guys usually appear around this time?'

As the man child pondered about whether or not the Cornelius was a main villain in his action fantasy, the rest of the group started wondering why, why was someone as powerful as him, was walking through the mud.

None dared to break the tension. Sweat dripped down from their faces as both 'colorful' group of individuals as well as the soldiers beside the Surpreme General felt their spines tingle.

But Of course, the one who hasn't paid any attention to the atmosphere was the one who had broke the silence. Said person was William.

"I'm excuse me, but who are you?" William blissfully asked.

Both the soldiers and the group's eyes shot wide open, questioning whether this man had brain damage. Ambrosia on the other hand called it.

'I knew your mother dropped you on the head.' She thought.

The soldiers were about to berate William for his question, but was stopped by Cornelius himself.

"I am Surpreme General Cornelius Theodore, Leader of the western army." He answered. William's eyes shit open, not just because a Surpreme General is in front of him, but also because he is probably the main villain of his fantasy.

William hid behind the nearest meat shiel- ally, who in this case was Azreal.

A man who thinks nothing of his fellow man, other than a tool to be replaced, is a man who is far from grace but also far from the grasp of death.

The corners of Azreal's mouth twitch in response to William, but in the end, she buried her irritation deep down for something of possibly greater issue is in front of her.

Cornelius raised a brow, but thought nothing of it, he had seen his fair share of selfish soldiers who would not hesitate to duck behind his nearest ally, nor can he be one to judge for he had also done this more than enough times to make him feel sick.

He continued to survey the group. A little while later, he took out a CCW Multi-Use Pulse Revolver out of his coat jacket, and firing a kinetic round to the Forrest off to the side of the road.

the group flinched from the bang, and flinched once more from a audible thump coming from the woods. A skeleton head rolled out of the bush, which was soon followed by a headless skeleton with a sword buckled on its, waist? pelvis bone?

the skeleton grabbed hold of its skull and dusted off the specks of dirt and gravel off its dome. while all this happened Cornelius did not once looked the source of the noise but instead focused on a particular person's faint heart beat and ever so slightly, change in expression. this person was Ambrosia.

"You there" He called. "the woman with black hair. I assume this is yours?" he said.

"Y-yes sir?" Ambrosia asked nervously.

"I assume this is yours?" Cornelius answered while gesturing towards the skeleton.

"Yes sir, it's mine..... Why do you ask?"

"Then I assume you must have the permit?" Cornelius asked, though slight doubt lingered at the back of his mind.

"yes sir I've acquired all the necessary permits and documents to owning the skeleton before entering Epsilon territory." Ambrosia replied quickly. To quickly, as if rehearsed, but just to be safe and not jump to conclusions.

"Well may I see the document, though I doubt you have unless your gra'ark slave has it within his backpack, in which case my soldiers may be of assistance to guarantee your safety"

Zarrix was understandably offended. "Well excuse you sir!" he exclaimed, but as he took a step closer, Zarrix  accidentally went beyond the recommended distance you are to put yourself between a gra'ark.

And so Zarrix was pushed down by 2 soldiers as his knees were forcibly bent in the wrong direction.

Cornelius out his boot on top of Zarrix and glared coldly as another soldier pulled both his arms back in a uncomfortable position.

Without breaking eye contact with Zarrix. Cornelius said "How dare a dog like you bark within MY presence."

He said as his boot got heavier. "Learn to kneel, or I will teach you how."
