A Holy maiden had a powerful affinity for all magic, and increased physical capabilities, usually appearing as an ethereal and charming woman with both male and female reproductive organs.
However, they were infertile due to a curse.
The Divine Son was born the same year as the Holy Maiden.
The Goddess Amora and the God Zelmot were bitter enemies, constantly at war; after suffering a close defeat, Zelmot created a curse that would torment all future Holy Maidens.
As if to spite the goddess of fertility, Zelmot stained her beloved daughters with the curse of infertility.
In revenge, Amora cursed the Divine Son of Zelmot. He would become enchanted and fall deeply in love with the Holy Maiden, eventually growing insane with their love towards her.
