{ DELANEY WANG }

<NEXT DAY^MMC>

"So tired!" Melinda yawned, coming out of the class with the girls.

"Me too, schooling is not a joke" Gigi replied.

"I know, right?" Carina added, and they all laughed.

"I really can't remember the last time we laughed like this" Melinda said.

"Maybe when we were in Nigeria" Gigi replied.

"I still can't believe we left that country without planning, we didn't even take the Garri" Carina said.

"And I miss the pepper soup" Madelyn replied behind them.

They all looked back to see her standing there with a wide smile glued to her face.

"Now you remember us" Carina said.

"And who said I forgot you guys?" She replied, coming closer.

"Laughing around and wearing trendy clothes after Delaney's death, isn't that enough evidence?" Gigi replied, and Madelyn sighed.

"I'm being happy because, our baby is not dead, she's all alive with her baby" she said.

"Gawd, she has gone crazy" Melinda muttered, and Madelyn smiled.

"You guys don't believe me?, Should we go give her a visit?" She said, hanging her arms on their necks.

"What are you talking about?" Winnie asked in front of them.

She's just descending the stairs.

"Oh!, Senior come!, Come please!" Madelyn waved, and Winnie came closer.

She hugged her together with the three girls, leaving them in shock.

"Madelyn" Winnie said, feeling her temperature.

"You're not sick" she muttered.

"I know I look insane right now, but it's not entirely my fault, just follow me and see things for yourself" Madelyn replied and pulled them all out of the hallway.

She was taking them to the park when they met Mavis and Nicholas on the way.

"Join us guys!" She said, taking them along with the girls.

"Where are you guys going?" Midas asked, joining them with Trevor.

"Full house" Lexi said, coming with Tony too.

"Oh gawd!, Perfect!, Y'all should get in your cars and drive after me, I need to show you something" Madelyn said, and they kept looking at her.

"Get in your cars, I swear on my life that Delaney and Sweeney are still alive" Gladys said from the car, taking off her sunglasses.

They all exchanged glances before starting to get in their cars.

Ten cars drove out of the school at once.

<A SNACKS RESTAURANT>

Summer sat in front of Sammy, looking sad as she played with the straw in her iced coffee.

Sammy sighed and took her hand away from the straw, then she faced him.

"I know you miss your dead brother, but can you please stop thinking about it for a while?, Huh?" He said persuasively, and she blinked.

"Huh?, Summer" he persuaded again, rubbing the back of her hand.

"It's not as easy as you think, he's the best brother in the world trust me, he's the best" Summer replied, batting her lids as she fought back her tears.

"Don't let those tears fall, else I'll leave" Sammy said, and Summer nodded.

"I won't"

He stood from his seat and walked to her, then he wiped the tears and kissed her forehead.

She looked at him and smiled lightly.

"There, that's what I'm dying to see" he smiled, going back to his seat.

"It's not your first time here , right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I do come with Naomi when she was still here" she replied.

"Your best friend you talked about?, The one in Manila?"

"Yeah, friend like a sister" she smiled.

"I can't wait to meet her"

"She's coming home next week, so you'll surely meet that crazy girl" Summer smiled.

"Should we talk about your new exclusive book?" He asked.

"Did you even check out the updates on my page?" She pouted.

"Of course baby, should I tell you the title?" He asked, and she nodded.

"THE MASKED BRIDE" He replied, and a big smile appeared on her face.

"Naomi is working on her next exclusive right now" she said.

"She got an exclusive before?" Sammy asked.

"Yes, when she was in Manila, she wrote INTO THE PUDDLES, but right now... she's working on another one... BUTTERFLIES" She replied.

"When are you getting your second ex?" He asked.

"I got it just today" she replied, and his eyes widened.

"Really?"

"Yes, but trust me I can't work on two ex at a time, so I'm focusing on the first one for now" she replied, and he stood.

He walked to her and pulled her up to hug.

"Congratulations, I'm so happy for you" he said, and she smiled before hugging him back.

"Thanks, Sam"

<VACATION HOUSE>

The cars halted in front of the house at a time, and everyone came out, still looking confused.

"Where's this?" Gigi asked.

"My parents vacation house, and y'all shouldn't be too shocked, ok?" Gladys smiled.

She walked to the door with Madelyn and opened it, then they all came in.

Mrs Bills is in the living room with Sweeney and Delaney.

Immediately they saw her, their eyes widened beyond length and breath. Trevor almost fainted.

"Delaney!!!!" Gigi screamed, running to her immediately.

Delaney was already in tears before she got to her, and when she finally hugged her, Gigi's tears fell too.

"My Delaney" Gigi sniffed, crying on her shoulder.

"My Gianna" Delaney cried, leaving the others in awe.

"Is that really... Delaney?" Winnie said, still looking like she saw a ghost.

"She is, don't be shocked" Mrs Bills smiled.

"Sweeney!" Midas said, rushing to take her from Mrs Bills.

"Finally someone to always remind me of Dylan" he said, hugging her fondly.

Carina and Melinda hugged Delaney next, then the rest except Mavis.

Right now, seeing her alive is all that matters, all he needed and he got it.

He only smiled and stroked her hair lightly.

"Thanks, for staying alive" he said, and she nodded once.

"Here, Paisley left you a letter" Gigi said, handing her a white paper.

Delaney opened it and started crying as she read it.

*DEAR SWEETHEART*

EVEN IF YOU'RE DEAD, I'D LIKE TO LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW HOW SORRY I AM, AND THE TREACHEROUS THINGS I DID TO YOU, I'VE NEVER BEEN A GOOD FRIEND TO YOU RIGHT FROM HIGHSCHOOL, I WANTED DYLAN BUT HE WAS ALL OVER YOU. "Paisley!!!" Delaney cried after she finished reading.

Gigi hugged her tightly, making her cry on her shoulder.

"It's ok Delaney, stop crying"

Delaney never stopped till her face became red and swollen.

She was made to sit on the couch, and Gigi kept patting her softly for minutes.

"So...do we deserve to listen to the survival story?" Melinda asked.

"Sure, I'll tell you guys everything" Madelyn smiled.

<STREET ROCKY>

Dylan was sitting on a wheelchair in the thin balcony, wiping the tears that kept falling from his eyes every now and then.

Though he's wiping as they fell, but his shirt is already dampened in the front, with the tears.

He kept rubbing the SDD necklace on his neck as he cried, and he kisses it frequently.

"Sweeney.... Dela" he muttered as another round of tears fell again.

Mr Robb came out with a tray containing a cup of cereal which he placed on a stool in front of him.

"You haven't eaten anything for days, are you trying to get yourself killed?, I spied on your girlfriend and I found out she's fine with the baby, you should be happy with that, Dylan" he said.

Dylan looked at the tray in front of him hatefully before pushing it away.

All the content poured on the ground.

"I don't need food" he said and pedalled the wheelchair into the house.

He went to his bed and started searching for something with his hands.

He searched for minutes before dipping his hands into his pocket, but it's still not there.

"Looking for this?" Mr Robb said behind him, and he looked up to see him with a golden shinny box.

He snatched it from him immediately, and he opened it.

It contains a diamond ring that's dazzling at every angle.

He was actually planning to propose very soon, that's why he got the ring at first sight in Caledonia.

"I found it in the pocket of the suit you wore when I saved you" Mr Robb said, and Dylan's tears fell on the beautiful ring.

"It's the prettiest ring I've ever seen, you must have been planning a proposal before this happened" he said again.

"Am I gonna propose on a wheelchair?, Gawd" Dylan cried loudly.

Mr Robb squatted in front of him, holding the armrest of the wheelchair.

"The fact that you're alive is more important, do you know that?" He said, and Dylan sniffed.

"If you girl in question really loves you, she won't mind getting married to you even on a wheelchair, trust me" he further said.

Dylan made to look away from him but he held his face and wiped his tears before hugging him.

"Why are you so nice to me?, You don't even know me" Dylan said.

"I lost my only son last month, he's just around your age, so it feels good to see another companion" Mr Robb replied.

Dylan slowly hugged him back.

<VACATION HOUSE^SUNDAY>

"Aww!, Come on this is insane!, Midas and Gigi slayed this pictures, hot!" Winnie said loudly, staring at the Fritz magazine in front of her.

"Trevor and Melinda too, I can't believe y'all got casted within a week" Carina said, flipping through the pages of another magazine.

"Even senior Winnie and senior Lexi!, So cute!" Melinda said.

A total of three magazines welcomed the students of MMC as their covers actually.

Fritz.... Gigi and Midas

YOLO... Lexi and Winnie

Swaggz... Melinda and Trevor.

Back to back photoshoots as expected when the semester is coming to an end.

"But in all, Donni is still the hottest!, Our DD couple" Gigi said, bringing out Donni magazine.

"We look so cute together" Delaney said, rubbing Dylan's face in the pictures.

"I know, right?" Carina replied.

"I wonder when I'm gonna appear on a magazine cover, I hope I get picked next week" Madelyn said.

"Me too" Carina replied.

"All I'm waiting for is tommorow, when Mr Stewart and the chairwoman will be getting their payback" Delaney stood.

"I'm already imagining how gorgeous they'll both look in inmates uniform" Gladys said, and everyone laughed.

Midas suddenly rushed in with Trevor.

"Guys!, Leo got caught!" He announced.

"Huh!" Gladys spranged up.

<PATROL UNIT>

Leo has already been thrown in the cell when Gladys arrived, and when he was brought out to her, she smiled lightly.

"Why are you here?" He asked, sitting in front of her.

"Can't believe I turned your life around like this" she replied, and he smirked.

"Don't feel too big"

"You impregnated ten girls, one of them died already, and the rest are still pregnant with your babies" she said, and he scoffed.

"Believe me I never realized my mistakes till recently. Maybe doing good brought out the human in me" she said, and he looked at her.

"I know I made you this way, I broke your heart in the meanest way ever, and that's why you decided to revenge on girls by doing that" she said, and he swallowed hard.

"You loved me so much, but I betrayed you as much as you loved me, and I'm sorry" she said guiltily.

"I'm so sorry Leo, I'm sorry I made you end up like this" she said, letting out tears from her eyes.

"Time up" a cop said, taking Leo.

"Gladys" he muttered, crying slowly as he was taken away.

He kept looking back, and Gladys kept crying on her seat.

She covered her face with her palms, shaking tearfully.

"I'm so sorry... Leo"

<NEXT DAY^ S GROUP OF COMPANIES>

Reporters are everywhere already, cameras all set with the paparazzi as Zayn's car stopped in front of the company.

He came out of the car with Flora, and they smiled at each other as the reporters came closer

🎙️ Is she really capable of handling S group of companies?

"Of course, I have a versatile and industrious daughter" Zayn replied, walking in with Flora and his numerous guards.

Mavis car stopped next, then Madelyn's car.

"Stepsister" Mavis smiled.

"Silly stepbrother, let's go watch the movie" she replied, and they started walking in together

🎙️ Miss Madelyn, how do you feel about suddenly taking over?

🎙️ Please say something!

"I definitely feel good, today is the happiest day of my life!" She replied.

"Everyone meet my stepsister!, The soon-to-be youngest CEO in Australia!" Mavis shouted.

"I love you stepbrother!" Madelyn winked.

"Same pinch, stepsisto" he winked back, and they went in together.

The hall was already filled with all the shareholders and stockholders, then the staffs when they went in.

Zayn and Flora were sitting at the center, both looking so happy.

Mavis and Madelyn sat beside each other, smiling radiantly, then Zayn stood

Camera lights were still flashing everywhere from the reporters, almost blinding.

"Today is my happiest day on Earth, I grew old enough to see my heiress taking over what I worked for, all my life" Zayn said, and everyone clapped.

"Though twenty percent of the shares belongs to my wife, Flora, but we believe Madelyn is capable of taking care of it all, since she's brilliant at what she does" he further said, and everyone clapped again.

"So today, 31st of February, 2023, I'm handing over S group of companies to my daughter, Madelyn Stewart, as the new owner" he said, and another round of thunderous claps followed from everyone as Madelyn stood.

Flashes of camera lights illuminated her face, and she kept beaming as she walked to the center.

A spotlight shone on her.

"And will you guys keep clapping as I hand over to the rightful owner too?" She said, and everyone stopped clapping, looking confused.

"Madelyn, what are you saying?" Zayn stood.

The spotlight went off on Madelyn, then it came on at the door.

The reporters shifted their cameras there, waiting for what'll happen next.

"Madelyn!" Flora yelled.

"Calm down mum, hypertension is real" Mavis replied from his seat, and that was when the door opened, revealing Delaney.

She was wearing a long red gown, but it's not dragging, then red wide hat and heels, red lipstick too.

The light shone on her shoes first, and everyone stood as the lights started moving up her body.

"Who the hell is that!" Zayn shouted.

"Learn patience" Madelyn replied as the lights kept going up till it reached Delaney's face.

She was holding a long cartridge gun on her shoulder, looking so regal and dangerous as she chewed gum s*xily.

The cameras started flashing lights on her badass face.

"Delaney!!!!" Flora and Zayn shouted shockingly at a time.

Their eyes were almost popping out of their sockets. This is surely the greatest shock of their lives.

"Ghost!, Ghost!!!" Zayn shouted, shifting back.

"She's dead!!!" Flora screamed, running backwards.

Delaney blew bubble with the gum in her mouth before smiling.

"You both should bow, the queen is here" she smiled and started walking in in a slow mo, her heels making tap sounds with the floor.

The gun still on her shoulder, and she's not smiling anymore.

"Welcome the real owner of S group of companies!" Madelyn shouted.

"Delaney!! Wang!" Mavis added.

"No!!!!!" Flora screamed.
