Chapter 18

( SYDNEY'S RETURN )

"Honey!" Mr Stewart shouted, rushing to Mrs Gregor immediately.

She was holding her face, staring at Summer speechlessly.

"No one messes with the Bills" summer said flatly, and Dylan grabbed her hand.

He tried taking her out but she resisted.

"Let me go!, They need someone to talk sense into their empty skulls!" She shouted.

"You dare slap me?" Mrs Gregor said with a smirk.

"Yes, how does it feel?" Summer replied, and Mrs Gregor smiled.

"I'll destroy you and make sure you end up on the ground" she said.

"It's cool cos everything I need is on the ground" Summer replied obstinately, and Dylan grabbed her hand again.

"You'll regret this" Mr Stewart said , holding Mrs Gregor tightly by the shoulders.

"Henpecked husband to be, you're a fool sir" Summer replied.

"What!" Mr Stewart shouted.

"My brother is done with your daughter, the contract ended already so she can die for all I care, shameless set of people!, May you run out of sperm in your d**k on that wedding night you idiotic man" Summer continued talking as Dylan dragged her out.

They finally got out and he let go of her.

"How the hell did you know I was coming here?, When did you even get here?" He asked, and she brushed her hair with her fingers first.

"The maid in the Stewart's mansion, we're kinda close so she gave me all the info" she said.

"What!"

"What's wrong with it?, I just wanted to protect you from the claws of those wicked things, I knew you'd branch at the hospital and that's why I followed you" she continued, and Dylan sighed.

"Now that we're done, can you go?"

"Done?, We've not even started yet" she replied and made to go in again but Dylan pulled her back, this time he didn't let go of her till they got to the park where he pushed her into her car and closed the door.

"Go to your office please" he breathed out.

"Bye big baby brother!, I love you!, Treat Delaney well in school!" She winked, and his eyes widened.

"Don't be surprised, I know you both attend Montana" she said and used her fashion shades .

"One love!" She smiled as she drove away.

"She's driving me nuts" Dylan muttered and looked at the hospital again.

Since he's done inside, he got in his car and drove to school.

IN THE WARD**

"Calm down Flora, just calm down" Mr Stewart continued rubbing her shoulders as she sat, he's standing behind her.

"Trust me you know I mean something when I say it, I'll destroy her" she replied, still burning with rage.

"I know, but scratch it right now and let's focus on my princess ok?" He replied, and she inhaled.

"Dad..." Madelyn's voice came faintly, and Mr Stewart ran to her bedside.

"Princess!" He started stroking her hair as her eyes opened slowly, so pale and weak. She's getting transfused with blood cos she lost much of it.

"Where's... where's Dylan?" She asked weakly.

"He's on his way ok?, He's on his way" he lied, and Mrs Gregor joined him.

"How are you feeling right now Madelyn?' she asked gently, but Madelyn closed her eyes without replying, and she sighed before taking her bag.

She walked out of the ward and Mr Stewart chased after her.

"Flora!, Flora!" He caught up with her at the hallway, holding her back.

"Let me go Zayn!, I can't continue playing dummy for your daughter just because I want her to like me!, I even slapped Dylan cos of her and that Summer girl embarrassed me all because of her, but it's all meaningless cos she'd never like me!" She shouted.

"Flora our wedding is in a week's time, you can't act like this please, Madelyn is turning twenty by Thursday too, I told you to keep trying, she'd warm up to you when it's time" he said, and her jaws dropped.

"Sorry if I acted rash, I must have been feeling a bit on edge cos of that b*tch Summer" she replied, and he smiled.

"We'll take care of her, but let's take care of Madelyn for now" he said, and she smiled lightly as he pulled her into the ward.

The first two classes ended already, so most of the students are having lunch at the cafeteria right now.

The girls left for the cafeteria before Carina cos she had to go see one of the lecturers.

She just came out of the office when she bumped into Trevor who was about to go in.

He caught her by the waist, and she blinked as she brought her back to her feet.

"You love falling" he smiled and brushed her scattered hair with his fingers, making her heart thump with just that.

"Careful" he smiled and made to enter the office but a condom pack fell from his pocket.

She picked it and gave it to him. He received it with a pretty smile.

"You're really a f**kboy" she said slowly.

"I only take it around cos Midas is always in need of it" he smiled and went in eventually.

Carina was holding her heart as she walked out of the block as fast as possible.

"Carina you're crazy!, She's Melinda's crush!, How dare you allow him make your heart flutter!, How could you!" She scolded herself as she walked.

She breathed in and out before entering the cafeteria where the girls were already sitting.

"What did the lecturer say?" Melinda asked immediately she settled with them.

"Nothing much, it's about Madelyn's birthday party, I'm among the students she choose for the decors according to charwoman Gregor's order" Carina replied.

"What!" Delaney and Paisley chorused.

"You guys are not her slaves so why would she pick students randomly for the decor?" Delaney said hotly.

"Like I said, we're ruining the party" Melinda smiled knowingly.

"Party poopers in the making" Paisley said, and they stuck hands before laughing.

The P3 entered the cafeteria immediately, including Dylan this time.

Dylan was busy searching for Delaney with his eyes, so they kept standing.

"Dude, where are we sitting at?" Midas asked.

Delaney actually covered her face with the pizza box, but Dylan later found her with her hair which was left out.

"There" he smiled and walked to their table.

He sat on the right side of Delaney while Trevor sat beside Melinda.

Melinda stood and sat beside Gigi immediately, so Carina shifted to Trevor's side.

Melinda expected Trevor to follow her, but it never happened.

"What are you doing here?" Delaney rolled eyes at Dylan, and he smiled as the cafeteria maids dropped a plate of pasta in front of him.

He picked the cutlery and started eating without replying.

"She just asked a question, what the hell are you doing on this table" Paisley smirked.

"Eating" Dylan replied simply, facing Delaney.

He licked his lips and it became wet. Delaney swallowed hard immediately she saw that, and the accidental kiss in the tub came to her mind immediately.

Her eyes widened, and she was about to stand when someone settled on her other side.

Her eyes widened when it turned out to be Mavis. He sat with a tray of pasta too.

"Hi s*xy love!" He winked and started eating.

She bit her lip when she remembered how he licked ice cream from it last night, and she tried hard to concentrate on her food without looking sidewards.

"This is crazy" Gigi muttered, and Midas smiled.

"What the f**k are they doing?" Trevor laughed.

"Beats me" Carina replied beside him, and he looked at her with that charming smile which made her heart race again.

"A full table?" Leo said, coming over with Gladys.

"Let's join them" Gladys replied and took her seat beside Midas. Leo sat on her other side.

Paisley looked at Leo and licked her lips.

Mavis and Dylan dropped their forks at the same time, then they rested their faces on an elbow before facing Delaney, they started staring at her while smiling.

Delaney suddenly choked on her food, and they both offered her water at the same time.

"Here, sweetheart" Paisley gave her a cup of water which she took and gulped.

"Thanks baby" she said before facing the two guys.

"Can you both get lost?" She rolled eyes, looking from one to another.

"I don't want to" Mavis said stubbornly.

"Enjoy your meal, and eat slowly, don't choke ok?" Dylan smiled and stood.

He left the cafeteria immediately, and Delaney's eyes followed him till he was out of sight.

"What are you still doing here?" She asked Mavis.

"I want to do everything with you from now on" he winked, and everyone laughed.

"I really hate clingy guys" she replied.

"I'm just showing you my seriousness, not clinginess" he winked, and everyone laughed again.

"Mad Mavis" Melinda giggled.

"Make this table a bit lively please, everything shouldn't be about Mavis and Delaney" Gladys rolled eyes.

"Your bestie is in the hospital, what are you doing here?" Paisley rolled eyes too.

"None of your business" Gladys shot back, and Paisley smiled.

"About making this table more interesting, how about fun facts?, Everyone should start saying fun facts about themselves" Trevor suggested.

"I second that" Melinda and Carina said at a time.

"Wait...is this a love triangle or something?" Leo said.

Melinda looked at Melinda and Melinda frowned a bit before looking away.

"Fun fact about me, my dad owns chains of companies here in Australia and in Chicago" Gladys said proudly.

"Is that even a fun fact?" Delaney said.

"Duhh" Gladys rolled eyes.

"My mum is a doctor" Trevor said.

"I love rap than plain pop" Paisley said.

"I dreamt to be a pilot when I was young" Melinda said, and everyone laughed.

"I'm a twin" Carina said.

"Really?, You've never talked about it!" Gigi said.

"He's dead, that's why" Carina replied.

"So sorry" Delaney rubbed her shoulder, and she nodded.

"I'm in love with Delaney Wang" Mavis said.

"Are you crazy?" Delaney rolled eyes.

"Yeah, for you " he winked, and Delaney held her head in frustration.

"Ouch!!!" He shouted.

"Who's next?" Carina asked, and Leo smiled.

"I have just one fun fact, I love Gladys" he said.

"The fun fact about you should be that you're stupid" Midas laughed.

"What!" Leo stood.

"Sorry did I say that out?" Midas continued laughing, and Leo got a cup of chilled water which he poured directly on him.

"Shit" Midas stood and Leo punched him hard on the face.

Midas fell back on the chair with bursted lips and everyone stood.

"How dare you call me stupid you crappy motherf*cker!" Leo shouted.

Midas stood and wiped his lips with his palm, and immediately he saw blood, he returned the punch.

Leo fell on the ground, and Midas smirked.

"I have every right to call you stupid cos you can't even smell what's happening around you, you're dumb!" He said loudly.

Leo stood and made to punch him back, but Trevor got between them.

"Dude stop" he said, and Leo started breathing heavily as Midas walked out of the cafeteria.

"But you're really stupid" Trevor said suddenly.

"Say that again" Leo replied.

"Sorry bro" Trevor said and glared at him before leaving the cafeteria too.

"Damn you guys!, Damn y'all!!!" Leo shouted.

"Babe, let's go" Gladys held his hand and took him out of the cafeteria.

"Crazy..." Delaney said.

"But true, he's stupid" Mavis smiled, remembering when he saw Gladys and Midas in the restroom the other day.

Delaney faced him, and he smiled.

"See ya later!" He winked and left the cafeteria.

"So we're the only ones here once again" Carina said, touching Melinda's shoulder .

Melinda shook her hand off and walked out of the cafeteria.

"What's up with you both?" Paisley asked.

"Melinda!" Carina rushed after her, and the girls rushed out too.

Carina caught up with her in the hallway and held her hand.

"Melinda...

"You're crushing on Trevor?" Melinda cut her off.

"No trust me I was...

"Then what was that at the cafeteria?" Melinda cut her off again.

"It was a coincidence believe me Melinda, I know you have feelings for Trevor and I can't possibly betray you" Carina replied, holding her hands.

"Isn't it hightime you say yes to him?" Paisley said, coming out with Delaney and Gigi.

"Playing hard to get is not the best, trust me I did it in highschool and I regretted it" Delaney said simply, and Paisley looked at her immediately.

"I also think you should stop playing hard to get right now" Gigi said.

"I promise to say yes to him at Madelyn's party" Melinda replied.

"She's gonna invite just twenty students, and it's sure you won't be invited" Paisley said.

"We'll just print fake cards" Melinda smiled.

"Trust you baby!" Paisley stuck hands with her, and they left together.

"Crazy girls" Delaney said, leaving with Carina and Gigi.

Gigi perceived the familiar scent again, and she rushed back to the guy who's walking in the hallway.

She turned him to herself but it's not him cos she's not perceiving the scent anymore.

"Sorry" she said, letting him go.

The guy walked away, and she sighed.

"Am I perceiving wrong?" She asked herself before walking away too.

A guy came out of the class and looked at her till she went out of sight before walking away.

AN HOUR LATER**

The gymnastics class ended just now and since it's the last, students started changing to go home.

Mavis entered the male locker room and met three guys there.

The P3.

"Dude" Trevor winked, and he hit knuckles with him.

"Yo man!" Midas hit his shoulder playfully.

"You guys done?" Mavis asked.

"Sure, Dylan meet us in the lounge" Trevor replied and left with Midas.

Mavis got his clothes from his locker and put on his trousers first before looking at Dylan.

"Heard you were a jerk to Delaney in highschool" he said.

Dylan kept quiet.

"You disturbed her like crazy and bombarded her with letters and texts" he said again.

Dylan still kept quiet, he picked his jacket and didn't bother to wear it before starting to leave.

"As if those weren't enough,... You proceeded to raping her" Mavis said, and he stopped.

His hand tightened on his jacket.

"So it's true, you're a bastard" Mavis said, and Dylan faced him.

"I don't know where you heard it from, but I'm regretting it and...

"If you really regret it then you shouldn't even be anywhere around her" Mavis cut him off.

"You won't be the one to tell me what to do" Dylan replied, and Mavis came closer.

"You're unbelievably wicked" he said, and Dylan smirked.

"What about you?, You killed your father" he said, and Mavis grabbed his collar immediately

"You know nothing about me so stop talking!" He spat.

"Same way you should stop talking about me!" Dylan replied.

"You hurt Delaney" Mavis shouted.

"Yes, and I'm ready to even pay the price with my life!" Dylan shouted back.

"Staying away from her would be enough!" Mavis gritted, pushing Dylan's back to the wall lockers.

"I don't want to!" Dylan shouted, and Mavis punched him on the face.

Without wasting time, Dylan punched him back and Mavis was forced to let him go

He walked back to Dylan and was about to punch him again when the door opened, revealing Delaney.

They both stopped on their tracks with bleeding lips, and she glared before going out

"Delaney!"

"Dela!"

They called at the same time, rushing after her.

They caught up with her in front of the room and Dylan grabbed her right hand.

"Dela ..." He said slowly.

Mavis was about to grab her left hand when someone else grabbed his hand.

He looked back to see the last person he was expecting to see, and he squeezed his face in disgust.

"Sydney" he muttered, and the curvy bursty girl smiled enchantingly.

"Hey I'm back, Mav"
