CHAPTER 18 - PRIDE OF FACTIONS (2)

A few days later, Kay and the others are in the commander's room. Belfast, Illustrious, Hood, Wales and Formidable are helping him, reading and clearing all the reports that have been gathered then since the absent of Kay. The reports contain several requests, mission reports, gathering, exercises fleet and plenty of odd request that always been rejected.

"What the....", said Kay as he looks at the reports on his table. "I just left this place a few days ago and it already began to reach the ceiling. Can I ask what are you doing when I absent?".

"..........ermmm".

"Never mind", said Kay. "Hopefully, you all did not dance when I absent".

Kay looks at the reports one by one. He only needs to read and sign the report if he agrees with the contain in the reports. If it is granted, they will have the permission to do so. Usually, it just a simple gathering liked tea time, exercise and mock battles against another faction.

These kind of requests often granted easily by Kay. However, there are some requests that give Kay a little bit headaches.

"Permission to make a singing contest......rejected".

"Permission to make an idol group.....rejected".

"Permission to use a room.....for what...ermmm....rejected"

"Permission to bring destroyers to...by Ark Royal....rejected".

"Permission to buy....gems...for WHAT!!!....".

"........AKASHI!!!".

Belfast, Wales, Illustrious, Formidable and Hood are laughing when watching Kay reading some ridiculous requests from the girls in Azur Lane. Although some of them are pretty much to be rejected, Kay still read the reports and requests diligently.

"Huh....Is there any reason for me to read this report?", asked Kay. "I mean, it is better for me to go outside and kill....I mean destroyed some sirens".

"A good commander need to read all the reports", said Wales. "These girls already doing their best from following your order until it is finished. This is one way for commander to be thankful to them".

"That's right, commander", said Illustrious. "You have the authority here and it is a good sign because they believe your judgments. If not, they already done without telling you".

Kay relieves a deep sigh. After all, Wales and Illustrious are right as reporting their commander first is a good sign.

"Well, you might said that. But....", said Kay. "Permission to date with commander......".

Kay reads a certain request that asking him for a date. The girls chuckle a little bit after hearing that. They know that Kay will rejected it immediately because of the nonsense request. Or not?

"Well....why not?", said Kay. "It is better than staying here....."

Poke....Poke...Poke....

"Master....master does not take this seriously, right?", asked Belfast while poking Kay 's face. Her tones is kinda mad yet sweet.

Wales is kinda annoying after hearing Kay answers while Illustrious , Hood and Formidable grinned after watching Belfast and Wales action.

"I'm joking", said Kay. "Now, can you please stop poking my cheek".

A few minutes later, Kay suddenly realized something are missing when he is reading the reports. Apparently, reports about Eagle Union are incomplete and insufficient than usual.

Kay is trying to find the reports about Eagle Union, only to see something that he doesn't expects.

Boing...boing...

"What's wrong ,master?", asked Belfast. Her chest is kinda close to Kay, making him feels uncomfortable. Stress level +1 per second.

Kay is trying to look away from eye-caching scenery. Yet, only making thing worst as Wales suddenly from his right side.

Boing...Boing...

Stress level increase....

"I want to find some reports about Eagle Union", said Kay while looking at the report, trying to calm himself. "Did you saw it?".

Well, he might a grave mistake as the others want to help him. Illustrious and Formidable are in front of his table, with their chest can be seen directly at his eyes.

"Can you please, get your chest away from my eyes!!!!", screamed Kay internally.

"Peace at least", said Kay as he is sitting outside of the office. "I have been watching their chest waving at me for quite some time".

"What I supposed to do again today?".

"Master....are your alright?", asked Sirius. She saw Kay is feeling down which makes her worried.

"No need to worry", said Kay. "I'm all...."

Boing.....Boing...

"Master.....??", asked Sirius.

"................", internal screaming.

A few minutes later, Kay is already calm down as Sirius is sitting beside him. He and Sirius are talking several topics, mostly about Royal Navy and Royal Maids.

There is something that Kay keen to find an answer. It is about Royal Navy loyalty to him. Unlike Eagle Union, expose their hatred at Kay especially Enterprise. However, it is kinda obvious that he cannot get the answers from Sirius.

"Master.....Master....?", said Sirius when she saw Kay in self-conscious, not paying any attention at Sirius. It took several seconds for him to realize.

"I'm very sorry, Sirius", said Kay. "What do you want.....to say.....again..?".

As Kay is trying to finish the sentences, he saw someone that should not roaming freely especially in Azur Lane. It is Admiral Hipper.

Both of them staring against each other for a few seconds.

Admiral Hipper is smiling at him. Then, quickly running away from there as fast as she can.

"Helena, this is Kay. Commander of Azur Lane", said Kay.

"Yes! What can I help you, commander?", asked Helena happily.

"Which idiot release the prisoner from the jail?", asked Kay. "Never mind, I kinda forgot about her in first place".

"Order all girls to refrain from attacking her. Royal Maids will handle this problem".

Before Kay is trying to ask Sirius to pursuit Admiral Hipper, she already gone from his sight.

Kay activates his element and jumps on the top of the building. Then, he saw Admiral Hipper with Sirius pursuing her. Kay decides to contact Belfast about this matter.

"Can you hear me, Belfast?", asked Kay. He hears Belfast answered his calls. "Tell Sheffield and Edinburgh to go to the port as soon as possible".

"Her ship is at the port and that is the only place for her to run".

"As you wish, master", said Belfast.

Kay is running and jumping from the building to another building. He can easily uses his element to capture Admiral Hipper, but he thought that it was better for him to leave this task to Royal Maids. It is their problem to begin with.

"Hey, watch where you running through!!!"

"My parfait!!!! Come back here!!!"

"Why are you swinging your sword, Sirius?".

".............."

"You know what, I change my mind", said Kay. "Sirius caused more problems than I bargain for".

Admiral Hipper managed to run away from Sirius thanks to her light body which is smaller than Sirius in certain part.

However, before she manages to fuse with her ship, Royal Maids already arrived at the port.

"Tch...Such a problems!!", said Admiral Hipper angrily.

"Please give up, Admiral Hipper", said Belfast. "Or, we will shot you".

The Royal Maids are ready to shot Admiral Hipper anytime soon if she stills persistent to run away.

"It isn't over until I die!", shouted Admiral Hipper. "Hail Ironblo...."

PANG.....

"I will be more grateful if you stop destroying this place", said Kay while hitting her head. "You already messing around and I really don't want to deal with that".

"Huh!! Why are you hitting my head you stupid human?", asked Admiral Hipper while rubbing her head.

"I am sorry, Master!", said Sirius while bowing at Kay. She is currently holding up Admiral Hipper, prevent her from running away.

"Humph...Do whatever you want, Azur Lane", said Admiral Hipper. "I will tell you nothing".

"What, with you small body?", asked Kay. "Never thinking that far".

Suddenly, a high explosive shot is coming straight to Kay. He managed to avoid it just a few centimeters from his head.

BOOOMMM!!

"......"

Kay and the others are looking at the building that almost destroyed. San Diego can also be seen as she is flying due to explosion.

"Hey, stop attacking me. I'm friendly!!", shouted Kay. "I'm just joking. Please don't take this seriously".

"I really don't want to messing around with someone else little sister, right now".

"Who??", asked all the girls.

"This girl", said Kay as he is pointed at Admiral Hipper.

"Huhhhh!!!!", said Admiral Hipper angrily.

Sakura Empire,

Several Ironblood shipgirls are now resting in a room at the Sakura Empire. Since, they are allies with Sakura Empire, it is pretty common for them to be treated as a special guest.

Their flagship, Prinz Eugen which is still injured thanks to Kay, is now looking at the window. She is watching the beauty of the Sakura Empire.

Bismark, the leader of the Ironblood faction is ordering her to support Sakura Empire for the mission to conquer Azur Lane. Everything works perfectly at first, until one man ruined their plan entirely.

"Cannot sleep, Eugen?", asked Z1. "You really take all the credits from him. I never expect to see you like this".

"Are you alright, Eugen?", asked Z23.

"........'empathy'? What the meaning of that word?", asked Prinz Eugen internally. "What he is talking about. No, that is not the important matter right now".

"Eugen..."

Prinz Eugen looks at Z1 and Z23 who are staring at her since she is ignoring them for quite some time.

"What are you thinking, Eugen", Z1. "Is that about Hipper? Or it is about that Azur Lane commander?".

Prinz Eugen chuckles at her when listening to her question.

"I may said both, Z1", said Prinz Eugen. "Hipper may be kidnapped by him. However, I know she can handle by herself. The only problem is that commander named 'Kay'. He is huge problem for us".

"Is he Azur Lane trump card?", asked Z1. "Quite bold for Azur Lane to hide him for us. We still did not see his ship and his rigging".

"No, he is human", said Prinz Eugen.

Z1 and Z23 became surprised and puzzled. They don't believe that Kay is a human. His strength, power and capabilities are beyond normal human.

"That is not possible!", said Z23. "There is no way human capable to unleash huge strength liked him!".

"But, it is true", said Prinz Eugen. "His power is same as Enterprise, but much stronger than her".

"A lightning-type"

"We have to figure up how to deal with him, Eugen", said Z1. "Pretty sure, he will become our obstacle to achieve our mission".

Prinz Eugen doubt it. Kay already has plenty of chances to win the battle, to destroy them, to capture them and to end the war. Yet, his action shown otherwise.

In Sakura Empire, the spear that stabbed the sacred tree is still there. Standing proudly as a sign of his capabilities to sneak in without trace. Those girls didn't knew his presence, until he shown himself in front of them. Winning against Kawakaze, a loyal and strong guardian of Nagato.

Those girls can only watch his back as he left the Sakura Empire, incapable for them to capture him.

In the Fallen City, plenty of disadvantages for Azur Lane. Yet, that probability means nothing. If only the reinforcements did not come, they will win.

Yet, Kay decides to leave them. He gave them a chance to run away. Only Prinz Eugen is gotten paralyze by him after she refused to give up.

"He also captured Hipper and not me", said Prinz Eugen. "There is no way, he didn't knew that I am the flagship".

"Probably, because he knew that we will not coming and rescue her", said Z1. "She can handle him by herself".

"Hey, that is rude!!", scolded Z23.

Prinz Eugen stares at the sky full of stars. The scenery is quite beauty and calm. The breezing wind flew towards them. Her hairs waving, showing the beauty.

"Well, Sakura Empire will not lay low", said Prinz Eugen. "They already planning to attack them. It will be fun to watch them".

"As for us, we will taking a break and watch them".

"I made a huge mistake", said Kay.

".........."

"Are saying this girl is Prinz Eugen 's big sister?", asked Kay as he didn't believed their words.

"Always has been", said the others.

"But she has small ...", said Kay.

"Huh!!!! I will kill you!!!", shouted Admiral Hipper.

Kay suddenly realized that he made a huge mistake when capturing Admiral Hipper. He chose a different person as he thought that Admiral Hipper is her little sister. No wonder when he reads her memories, most of them are her is trying to win against Prinz Eugen.

"Now, I know the reason why they didn't come to rescue you", said Kay. "I thought that they hate you and left you to suffer here".

Kay is expected them to come in order to rescue her. However, that didn't happens as he expected.

"Well, I guess everyone made a mistake", said Kay. "So, what should I do with her?".

"Is letting her left is an option?".

Kay looks at the girls which all of them are disagree with his opinion. After all, Admiral Hipper might becomes a problem later on. She still their enemy as letting her go is a bad idea.

"Then, I guess killing her is a good choice", said Kay.

"Huh!! Are you out of your mind?", shouted Admiral Hipper.

"Nah, I'm just joking", said Kay. "I will ask Sirius to watch you 24/7. Hopefully you don't mind".

Before Admiral Hipper tries to say something at Kay, Sirius intervenes her and gladly takes the role.

"Don't worry, Commander!", said Sirius. "I will take this role as my punishment. I will keep watching her until I died!!".

Sirius takes Hipper 's hand and bring her to another place, leaving the others speechless

"...I guess that is her answer", said Kay. "By the way, where is Enterprise?".

"I mean, where is the other Eagle Union girls".

Usually, Enterprise and the others Eagle Union will definitely cause him some problems especially about the Admiral Hipper. He probably has to deal with both of them. This time is different than usual.

Kay didn't saw any shipgirls from Eagle Union (except San Diego that is still flying and the others who are in dorm). Cleveland and Montpelier are in Hospital with Columbia and Denver are visiting them. Saratoga is being Saratoga and Lexington is watching her. Yorktown is at school and teaching the kids.

"I am talking about Enterprise, Hornet, Intrepid and the other shipgirls", said Kay. "Did they reporting in?".

Belfast seems confused, she may knew something that Kay didn't realized the situation.

"They are taking an escort mission for commission, Master", said Belfast. "Didn't they already told you?".

"What are you talking about?", asked Kay. "Escort mission? Commission? Who gave the permission for them to allow it?".

"No, since when?"

Kay looks at Wales, trying to find the answer and understands the current situation. He needs to know, the exactly moment they left the base. With the sea is still boisterous and ruffled due to sirens and Crimson Axis, is was too risky for him to allow them to go.

"I'm sorry, commander", said Wales. "I thought that they already told commander about their mission. I didn't thought they are brave enough to ignore your authority".

"They went yesterday, commander", said Illustrious. "The information about their fleet are unknown to us".

Kay is deep thinking. He needs to figure up either to send some patrols or just leave them. They are still alliance with Royal Navy and they need their strength for Azur Lane to survive. He cannot ignore them.

Tok...Tok...

"I am sorry, commander!!", shouted Helena. "We have an emergency!".

"It's from Intrepid and she is requesting a rescue mission!!!".
