CHAPTER 11 - FLOWERS ARE CHARMING YET BEAUTIFUL (3)

"She 's definitely seen us," Kay said. "Look at her ears, shifting suddenly."

Kay and the others are currently in the Sakura Empire to give a little revenge. He had already prepared a very detailed strategy to carry out this mission. They already are making sure, nothing is going horribly wrong with their operation.

"You must be joking, Commander," Essex said. "We 're very far away from her naked eyes at the moment."

"So cute," Kay said. He's pointing to the Kawakaze, as her ears may have sensed their presence. "Well, the people of the Sakura Empire have a better sense than the others. I don't know, though, whether she's a fox or a wolf. to begin with".

Kawakaze is with Nagato and Mutsu, protecting them from the threat. Kay receives a report about her already. She's one of the girls from the Sakura Empire who needs to be cautious around them.

"You 're talking about that girl, huh? ", asked Essex. She probably got a little upset when Kay gave Kawakaze a compliment.

"I 'm talking about all of you," Kay said. "The outfits really suit you, Essex and Sharing-La. After we reached Azur Lane, how about becoming a shrine maiden for a moment? ".

Essex got a little embarrassed after Kay mentioned that. Then, Sharing-La took this opportunity to take a picture of Essex, who still feels embarrassed.

"Another nice picture of Essex," said Sharing-La. "So, what are we going to do, Commander? Are we going to get on with the plan? ".

"I don't think it's a big deal," Kay said. "I will definitely handle Kawakaze if something bad happens."

"You all know the drill," Kay said. "In two hours, we'll meet with the others."

"Roger that, Commander," Essex and Sharing-La said.

Essex and Sharing-La wear a shrine maiden outfit to disguise themselves for this operation. The girls who joined Kay on this mission are Essex, Sharing-La, Cleveland, Montpelier, Sheffield, Edinburgh and Formidable.

To be honest, Cleveland is expected to wear a shrine maiden outfit alongside Montpelier. It really doesn't suit her very well. It works well for Montpelier, though. Kay is trying to recall the amusing incident when Cleveland is trying out the outfit.

"Well, this is a problem," Kay said. "You 're too handsome to wear it. This fits well on Montpelier, though".

"What do you mean by that, commander? "Cleveland asked. She thinks that Kay is trying to tease and insult her at the same time.

"We need another girls to wear this adorable shrine maiden outfit," Kay said as he looked at Essex and Sharing-La.

Essex is trying to look back on her as she just doesn't want to wear that outfit. Nevertheless, Sharing-La, she's grinning and taking Essex hand. Taking her to a different location to change. Essex can only give up and hope for the best.

"Alright, let's find my sword first," Kay said. "Then, we set off on our second objectives."

A number of priorities in this operation had been lay out. This operation is divided into three groups to make it perfectly clear and simple. There are three groups that have specific roles for this mission.

The first is Kay, Essex, and Sharing-La, who are responsible for retrieving the sword that Kay completely forgets in the first place. Kay, however, wanted to find the sword on his own.

Then they will meet with the second group, Sheffield and Edinburgh.

Since Kay already heard of certain curious thing from Shoukaku, he feels it's better for them to steal something from them. After all, a little bit of vengeance is pretty good.

They will also do something that will shock the Sakura Empire, but that will be discussed later. A little bit of a trick is a nice thing, too.

Finally, they 're actually going to withdraw after Kay sends them a signal as a message. They will meet with Cleveland, Montpelier and Formidable to assist them with their retreat. Formidable skills will benefit them a little bit.

"That's a very epic plan I have to say," Kay said. "Hopefully, it's going to proceed as I expected."

Kay suddenly stops walking, appears very unfamiliar to his surroundings. He managed to sneak into the Sakura Empire easily, but he was faced with another problem.

"It's just, I'm a little lost," Kay said. "Surprise face, I guess."

Kay activates his element and steps his right foot, activating a circuit that capable to detect his sword. Nonetheless, his tracking was suddenly lost in half way.

"Why do I not sense my sword? ", asked Kay. He's trying to think of a few possibilities that might lead to problems. His sword is a very unique weapon, capable of handling his tremendous strength. Normal weapon can only be destroyed for a few seconds if Kay used it once. Therefore. he really wants the sword back, very badly.

Kay takes another sword out of his watch, a katana to be exact. It's Zuikaku's katana that Kay picks in the first operation. Her katana had already broken, but Kay managed to repair it, even though it had to be completely destroyed before it was repaired.

The Zuikaku' s katana is quite unsuitable for Kay. It still remains its fire element, even though Kay tried to alter it in order to make it stronger. The katana rejects its and making Kay feel very proud of this katana.

"This is probably my chance to give her sword back", said Kay. "I probably need to find Shoukaku and Zuikaku first. However.......".

Kay thinks that someone is coming to him. This is not the time for him to search Shoukaku first. It's easier for him to concentrate on the things in front of him.

Kay hears a humming rhythm, with sweet voices sounding pretty happy. He 's trying to do the usual thing, hoping she won't notice him.

"Hummm,,,hummm,,,,No matter how many medals and award I get.....hehehehe".

"Hermmmm???".

Kay can already think that the girl may already have found him. Perhaps Kay should think of another way to avoid this problem.

"Oh, well," Kay said. "Just do what I'm always do."

"Where the Commander is?" , Essex asked. "He's supposed to meet us right now."

Unless they were to follow the original plan, they should already encounter Kay after he managed to find his sword back. However, he seems to have not yet showed up, causing these girls to worry about their commander.

"He's probably busy with something or battling with Kawakaze inside the Sakura Empire," said Sharing-La. "We 're only letting ourselves to sneak around this area, because it's very dangerous for us to wander around the hidden place within the Sakura Empire, particularly the big tree."

"Madame Sharing-La is right," said Sheffield. "We should move on to the current plan."

"Should we wait for him? I mean, he's our commander, "asked Edinburgh.

"Why would we do that? "Sharing-La, Essex and Sheffield said.

"Because I want to behave like a big sister for a moment," Edinburgh said with tears.

They are continuing to the mission without the commander, as Kay is already informed them about their duties if he can not make it in time.

Edinburgh and Sheffield will investigate the Sakura Empire, while Essex and Sharing-La will give something to the Sakura Empire.

"I'm very amazed that what the commander told us was accurate," Essex said. "Their securities in the Sakura Empire are quite lenient. I mean, it's pretty easy for us to come here undetected".

"Perhaps because they think their base is impenetrable, it makes it impossible for outsiders to invade them," said Sharing-La. "Not to mention, we just came here to give them something."

"We 're probably in a bad position if we're attacking them here," Essex said.

Instantly, both of them seem to stop talking for a moment. Suddenly, they remembered that one of their tasks here, seemed to have an opportunity to attack them or they need to attack them. Since, there are a lot of warriors in the Sakura Empire, they probably won't come back in piece.

"What is Enterprise going to do if it is in my place? ", asked Essex. She looks to give up her fate as she will doing a death wish, attacking the Sakura Empire with little force.

"Commander probably thought us about this, Essex," said Sharing-La. "He's never going to send us to die."

"Yeah, you 're right," Essex said. "Let 's focus on our job now."

"Hehehe ... I think that the Sakura Empire will definitely be angry at us if this mission went smoothly."

They 're forbidden to kill any girls from the Sakura Empire, as Kay ordered. They can't destroy and sink the girls here unless it is emergency and cannot be tolerate. So, that's probably the main reason why Enterprise did not engage in this operation. Since, Kay felt it was going to create more problems later.

Indeed, at first, Enterprise did not agree. The majority of the Royal Navy, however, supported his plan. Not to mention, none of them had ever heard of this idea.

"We 're going to wait for his signal to start," Essex said. "Until then, see you later, Sharing-La."

"See you later, Essex," Sharing-La said.

"Everything for Azur Lane".

"Well, that's taking more time than I thought," Kay said. "And I really haven't been able to find my sword."

"This place is, indeed, very beautiful."

The great tree of the Sakura Empire, a breathtaking scenery that calms everyone's heart and mind. It's very beautiful, making this place very worthy of protection. The sakura petals that fall from the tree, the lake and the artifact around the shrine. This is a really charming place.

The sakura tree shines brilliantly, making it a sacred place. Kay can sense the warmth that came out of the sakura tree. He 's feeling the blessing of this place.

"Too bad, they 're on the opposite side," Kay said. "I really shouldn't meddle with their war."

"But, a job is a job. I have already taken responsibility and will at least pay for their faith. It's not that I really trust them with my problem".

Kay never trust those girls very well. He is not ignorant of the current situation, so he has to be cautious.

"I should put this spear on the ground as soon as possible," Kay said. He jumps out of the shrine to avoid the lake in front of him. He took the spear out of his watches and stabbed the ground with the spear face upward.

"Thank you, Shoukaku," Kay said. "For giving this opportunity to do so."

The reason Kay managed to slip into this sacred area because of the Shoukaku. Thanks to her, she's already helping Kay with some details about this location. Not to mention, she was already trying to get Nagato and the others away from here.

"At least the white fox (Kawakaze) did not notice us," Kay said. "I really didn't want to start fighting here before the main event began."

Then Kay takes out tiny boxes and throws them around the big sakura tree. IIt's not a bomb, so don't worry about it. He's never going to think of destroying this place.

"It looks perfectly fine," Kay said. "I've already done this, now time to get out of here."

Kay is looking at his watch, he still has plenty of time to retrieve his sword. He used [Eagle Eyes] to take a look around. Nothing unusual happens in the Sakura Empire yet, so he doesn't even bother about it.

He 's going to whistle to ask Mr. Eagle to come over here. About a minute later , Mr. Eagle arrived, sitting on his shoulder.

"Did you find my sword?," Kay asked. He's also feeding the bird some food. After that, Mr. Eagle is flying and aiding Kay to the sword.

Or, he 's hoping for that. The only thing he's seen is a spectacular sight on the higher ground. From here, Kay can see all of the Sakura Empire. He had to go through a few incredible scenery before he got here.

"Where are you going to bring me, Mr. Eagle?," Kay asked.

He looks the surrounding around him and t is very beautiful, indeed. He can see some girls and children wandering around and enjoying themselves. They look pretty happy as war never takes place.

"Are they really Azur Lane enemies?", Kay questioned himself. "Azur Lane, Royal Navy, Eagle Union, Crimson Axis, Sakura Empire and Ironblood. What is the truth of this world?".

"Why are you sending me over here, Wiseman? ", asked Kay. "Is it just about The Cell, or is there any explanation for it?"

Kay relieves a deep breath, attempts to calm himself down. He doesn't want to worry about it because he still needs to complete this operation.

"But I have to say that. The Empire of Sakura is really beautiful, "Kay said.

"Am I right, Zuikaku?".

Kay turned his face around, only to see Zuikaku and Takao, who were both shocked at his presence in the Sakura Empire. He doesn't draw his sword yet, because he doesn't think that Zuikaku and Takao are his enemies.
