While we snagged... Fuck loads of supplies honestly. I also made sure to use my dexterity as a Primarch to palm and buy a bunch of Log Poses with the money I snagged from some rich merchants I used Angron's empathy powers to work on and give me some Belly which was the currency of the world.
But with all the supplies we needed in my 'Sweet Home' which was basically just a house floating in a pocket dimension with a small yard. I was ready to get the last couple of members of my retinue until I started getting points here in the world. "There," I muttered as while Lotara stood beside me at military rest, a couple of portals opened in front of me, and stepping out of each portal was a beautiful woman.
Out of one portal, came a voluptuous woman with snow-white hair wearing a low-cut maid outfit with metal gauntlets on her hands. And as she came out of the portal at meeting my eyes she bowed slightly while lifting the hem of her dress up and curtsying as she said with respect clear in her tone. "Thank you for choosing me as your Ship my Master."
I chose Belfast out of all the shipgirls of Azur Lane for a number of reasons. One she was a hand-to-hand fighter of great skill along with having the typical 'fuck you my I got massive cannons shrunken down and strapped to my body.' armaments all shipgirls had... Nothing would be more surprising for people here in One Piece than seeing some girl punch them with a hundred-and-fifteen-pound warhead shooting faster than the speed of sound blowing them to giblets.
Another main reason I chose her, was the fact that she didn't have a lot of the mental issues a number of other Azur Lane girls had due to being sunk, or otherwise their obsession for their commander/admiral... Belfast's main issue is her being a bit of a hard ass and wanting the best out of her subordinates as the leader of the maid division in the Royal Navy.
Looking at the other woman who came out of the other portal, I smiled seeing someone who would be a major help in my quest to heal Uta after she overdosed on those mushrooms in her quest to bring 'peace' to the world... And as Sangonomiya Kokomi likewise bowed her head slightly towards me. I looked at the glowing gem that was laid on the ribbon across her chest.
A Hydro Vision. Allowing her to summon and control water. And being able to control the seas would be an amazing thing here in the world of One Piece. To say nothing of how Kokomi was also a highly intelligent woman who could come up with powerful strategies. "As you well know my name is Sangonomiya Kokomi. I hope we get along well together." She said in a friendly tone.
"Likewise, it's great to meet both of you. Now, my name is Angron... Or Jake Barris, either works honestly. But regardless, Belfast I need you to manifest your ship out in the sea so we can sail away from this island quickly." I ordered as I could feel something tickling my instincts telling me that I needed to leave this place.
I don't know if it's Angrons instincts or something else, but I could easily feel the moment Belfast, and Kokomi landed here. My senses were telling me to get the hell out of dodge.
"Yes Master," Belfast said simply, and seeing the cliffs end below us and the raging sea below, Belfast didn't hesitate at all to jump off and even as Kokomi looked over with some worry.
Belfast was a shipgirl, and her body was more of steel and the hardiness of a massive ship than mortal kin. So she easily landed on atop the sea sending a stream of water outwards as she seemingly skidded across the water gracefully instead of sinking into the water with the impact.
Once Belfast got a bit into the sea she jumped into the air and below her feet grew a blob of light that quickly expanded to form the HMS Belfast in its rightful glory. 'Hopefully modern steel ships and shipgirl nonsense can withstand the bullshit of the Grandline." I thought wryly as I picked up Totara and Kokomi into my arms and with a grand leap I flew through the air and landed atop the wide deck line between the multiple massive cannons that dotted across Belfast's body.
"My master, I have made sure to manifest in a way that although reduces the number of rooms, I made the rooms and hallways of my ship larger to accommodate your size," Belfast spoke and my lips twitched as I recalled how tight-fitting most ships were... And once again I was so happy to have a ship girl as none of the other ships in the catalog had such easy options to allow me to fit within the ship.
"Good work Belfast. Thank you for noticing the issue before I said anything... Here." I said handing her a Log Pose that was slotted to Alabasta and taking out a world map. "No matter what, do not lose that Log Pose as cardinal directions here in this world don't mean much... So what we will be doing is going South West over here to hopefully hit Amazon Lily and through there we will go through the Calm Belt to get away from the Grand Line nonsense and be able to more easily get to Alabasta through a more round a bout manner." I explained my thought process.
Kokomi and Belfast together with their abilities made me confident in getting through the Calm Belt that was infested with Sea Kings being massive monsters hiding in the deep seas of this world. To say nothing of how Sea Kings were registered as tier five to six monsters in the catalog so I could sell them and get some good credits to buy more stuff in it.
"Hmm... And these islands won't give us any issues?" She asked with a frown as she pointed out how we would end up sailing fairly close to the Marine Ford G1 base as well as Impel Down. But I shook my head with Belfast bowing her head as she said confidently. "Then please go relax in the admiral's quarters Master." She said respectfully and made a courtesy before the ship thrummed with power as its engines pushed us through the sea and toward the direction I mentioned.
