The young werewolf, driven by an urge for strength, spent an entire night in the empty field focusing on his Dark Matter, the energy or force that fueled his Shadow Abilities, the strength of his Shadows/Conjured Shadows, and other things.
At the moment, Dezhong had last focused his Dark Matter weeks ago when he, Sil, the Dark Prince, and Balkium had raided a Dark Force stronghold. Back then, his Dark Matter was no larger than a small grain of rice, meaning his Shadow Abilities were not as strong as they could be.
