The Firebirds are all gathered above a really high mountain, they are all looking depressed and worried.

"I think I have an idea," one of the Firebirds spoke up excitedly.

"What?" the rest asked in unison, they were all eager to hear his idea.

"Let's all run away...far from Monaserus a place where Norma Elspeth won't be able to ever get a glimpse of us again." The first firebird replied making dramatic expressions with his hands.

"Yea that's a good plan," one of the other Firebirds replied in approval.

"Shut up! you knuckle head," another firebird that was standing beside the second Firebird, shouted immediately, giving the second Firebird a knock on his head. The second Firebird just replied with a groan.

"You both should shut up...have you forgotten how powerful Norma Elspeth is? She will definitely find us and when she does, she would kill us, like how she did with Brathon," the third Firebirds adds and they all kept a sad face.

The Firebirds are all dark green in colour, that had two horns close to their eyes, they had a little brightly coloured red strand of hair in front of their forehead. Their wings were vast and has stripes of green and yellow, huge claws on their toes, a bright red coloured throat cause they were meant to spit out fire.

"Oh Brathon, may your gentle soul rest in peace," the first firebird said and lowered his left wing on the ground. The rest of the Firebirds did the same.

It was kind of their way of showing respect.

"Norma Elspeth is really cruel even Hades I much better than her." The third Firebird said with his eyes wide open.

"We just have to ignore what she did and do her biddings, remember she released from that book which we had been trapped in for ages" the second Firebird spoke out, at last, he has been quiet since the third Firebird gave him the knock on his head.

"But how are we going to get the boy?...he seems not to be found anywhere." The first firebird said moving his eyes left and right to each of the other Firebirds, searching for answers.

"I don't know, we should just keep on searching," the second Firebird muttered under his breath and walked to the cliff of the mountain. He looked down from the mountain and saw things beneath the high trees and thick bushes.

Firebirds had the ability to see beneath surfaces, they had deep double vision, they also had the ability to hear clearly from afar. I would say that had the ability of an eagle. The firebird kept on looking down, then he saw Alyssa passing by beneath the trees, she was carrying Berk on her shoulder like usual, and she was laughing and talking to someone but the firebird couldn't see the person she was talking to.

"Hey! Draco! Come see this" the second Firebird called the third Firebird to come over. Draco nods and walked to the cliff to see why he was been called. The first firebird followed him behind.

"Look, over there isn't that the girl we saw in Norma Elspeth's lair the other day," the second Firebird asked. Pointing down to where Alyssa was.

A memory popped into Draco's head. "Yea, she does do look like the one" Draco replied and looked more closely. He could visibly see Alyssa and even hear her.

"Come on Darrell are you some kind of a Superman? ...let's stop for a while am freakily tired," Alyssa said weakly, looking at Darrell. But the Firebirds could not see Darrell, he was invisible to them.

"We have no time on our side, we need to keep on moving," Darrell replied Alyssa with a serious tone and kept on moving forward.

Alyssa stopped walking, thought for a while, and then she walks to a gooseberry shrub, and plucked some berries, and instantly stoned one of the gooseberries at Darrell. And then the berry hits Darrell on his head.

"Ouch!" Darrell groaned. He turns around and saw Alyssa smiling sheepishly.

"Okay so you want to play a little sport," Darrell said with a smirk.

The firebird saw all Alyssa was doing. He arched one of his eyebrows as his eyes banged, and an idea popped into his head.

"That maiden seems not to be alone," Draco said and looked at the rest of the Firebirds with an evil smile. "Are you thinking what am thinking?" Draco asked the rest of the Firebirds in a low tone.

"I think we have finally found our bait," the first firebird replied and they all smiled evilly.

Darrell walked to the plant and also plucked some gooseberries and starts stoning them at Alyssa continuously, Alyssa keeps Berk on the ground and tries to defend herself as she also stones Darrell back. But too bad her gooseberries got finished and she felt defeated as Darrell kept on smashing her soft temple with the gooseberries, then she picked to her heels.

Darrell chased after her and soon caught on her, Alyssa's feet mistaken stumbled on a little rock, she falls down and Darrell tried to catch her but he missed as he also stumbled and fell right above her. Darrell used his elbow to lift his weight above the ground, Alyssa was lying down under his breath and their eyes both met, their laughter seized as the rate of their heart pulse increased with pace.

To Darrell nothing else mattered as his eyes moved from Alyssa's eyes to her lips, he looks up at her eyes again, her eyes moved in approval of his thought, his heart danced in joy as he closed his eyes slowly and moved his lips forward, Alyssa just flowed with the rhythm of her heart as she also shut her eyes, as their lips almost touched.

"Alyssa!" Berk screamed Alyssa's name and broke the chemistry between them.

"Not again," Darrell groaned angrily in his thoughts, then he stands up from above Alyssa and helps her up on her feet.

"What happened Berk?" Alyssa asked Berk and she looked in Berk's direction and sees three frightening Firebirds flying towards them with speed.
