“You love a little danger.” She smirks. She hops over a fallen tree blocking the path. Following suit you both continue heading East.
After what felt like ages you finally break through the tree line. In the far distance you can see the outline of a town coming into view.
“Finally. The heat was starting to get to me.” Sweat dripped down your spine. Your clothes clung to you tightly.
“I hate the mugginess. That feeling of being sticky, yuck.” Helena fans herself. Sweat glistened off of her in waves like a diamond in the sun.
“Well, we’ll most likely be here for the night so, imagine the nice cool shower to look forward to.” Helena sighed dreamily.
“A nice lake to swim in would be even better. I do hear they have some nice tourist spots. If only we had the time.” Looking around you see no sign of bodies of water.
