A little girl named Rosemary wakes up to the sound of rain in an old mansion located in the middle of nowhere. She realizes she has inexplicably transformed into her eight-year-old self and has no memory of how she got there. Confused and disoriented, Rosemary explores the room and discovers a locked drawer. With a key she finds on the table, she unlocks the drawer and finds a storybook titled "The Tale of A Witch & Her Maid." Intrigued and feeling trapped with no other options, Rosemary decides to read the book, hoping it may hold clues to her current situation and a way to escape the eerie mansion.
