Welcome to Aviara (2)

As this is not a magic school, generally it looks just like a regular boarding school--with a very large forest. With normal concrete buildings, they even have some very decent facilities. Quite extravagant even. At least that's what it looked like when Alisa arrived in the dorm. That's not a dorm. That's legit a hotel.

There are three big buildings there. Yellow, blue and green. But all the new students were only dropped off in front of the yellow building, so Alisa guessed that each building might be separated for each grade.

"Test, test. Okay, you guys can rest first. But don't forget that there will be an initiation ceremony later this afternoon." Said the friendly driver who was now holding a megaphone as well. "Later around half past four, the bus will be waiting again. So don't be late. OK, bye!"

It was only after the bus left that all the students started looking for their luggage that had been teleported here earlier.

'Teleportation, huh?' Alisa thought to herself. Seeing directly the magic she couldn't master was a bit bitter and awe-inspiring at the same time.

"What're you doing? You didn't look for your suitcase?" Asked a girl who was already holding hers. With her hair in pigtails and short jeans, the girl brought her face closer to Alisa with a big smile. "You daydream, huh? I know though! The dorm is huge!" She exclaimed.

Her name is Mary, the friend who sat next to Alisa on the bus. She was so chatty that Alisa didn't even have to ask anything to know things. Thanks to her, Alisa didn't feel bored at all on their long journey from the gate to the dorm, which actually quite far.

"Look! They hung our room key on the tag." Mary continued while showing off her suitcase, where there was already a card with their room number written on it.

"Ah, right." Alisa said while finally looking around again until she found her big red suitcase. It seems that she got room number 9-6, which after checking on the building map, turns out to be on the 9th floor. Alisa was already desperate if she had to take the stairs again, but fortunately there was an elevator there.

"See you later then." Mary said when she had to come down first on the 4th floor. Alisa waved her hand. But seeing her new friend leave, she unconsciously pursed her lips in disappointment. She actually was hoping to get a roommate, but unfortunately each student gets their own room here. How regretful!

Since everyone got off first, Alisa was alone when she got off on the 7th floor. But the first thing that caught her attention as soon as she got out was the view outside the corridor of the dorm. The borderless view.

Alisa could see several school buildings from there. But that big and tall entrance gate was already nowhere to be seen. Exactly how far she actually has come… And in the distance, she could even see several people flying in the sky.

Yet it's still not a magic school. Technically?

"Ah, right. I still have to find my room." She muttered to herself and finally started to walk down the corridor again. And there it was, the door with a 9-6 mark.

Alisa immediately used the card that was given in her suitcase to open the door. And when she entered inside, she immediately widened her eyes. The room was spacious with a very decent interior and furniture. A queen bed, a medium table, a 2-door cupboard, a fridge, and of course a nice bathroom as well.

She also found a large cardboard box waiting for her. Which turned out to be filled with all her school's necessities. Uniforms, books, to several devices such as tablets, handphones, and other things too.

The first thing Alisa did was check her uniform. She was so excited that she even put it on immediately and started smiling to herself as soon as she saw herself in the mirror. The yellow tie was kinda her style.

Only after confirming the fit of her uniform did she jump back on the bed and start checking the others. And of course her attention was immediately focused on her new gadgets. "To give all this away, this school must have a lot of money." She chuckled in awe.

For a moment, Alisa thought about how her aunt could pay for a school that seemed so expensive. But because it was useless to think about it, she shook her head and looked back at her new handphone. No need to register or anything, the handphone is ready to use.

At first glance, the handphone doesn't look any different from the usual ones, except that this one is sleeker. But upon looking, the first thing she noticed was the wi-fi signal.

She remembered earlier the students had complained about the lack of internet signal as soon as they entered the gate. But apparently this one has it, while her old handphone still doesn't detect any signal.

Alisa was about to suspect that her handphone was broken, but another suspicion suddenly appeared in her head. "Maybe the internet can only work with this…?" She thought to herself.

And not only the signal, there were also many unfamiliar applications installed on it. Starting from Avi-Shop, Avi-Money, weird-looking Urgent Button. and School Life Guidebook—which immediately displays a long list of all school rules on its main page.

Every students' affairs are managed by the student council.

No. 1. No violence. Especially with magic.

No. 2. No magic for bads.

"Wow..."
