Chapter Sixty-five

After Xiang Ni saw Xi Wang was yawning heavily, they went back to his room on the amusement park so he could use transport to go back home for an afternoon nap. Xiang Ni with Xi Wang in his embrace falls asleep while smelling the apple fresh smell of her favorite shampoo.

Of course, Xiang Ni ignore Xi Wang half sleepily mentioned request that she wanted the largest doll that she won today to be on their bed. If Xi Wang is really awake, she will definitely not mentioned it as she knew Xiang Ni will not allow anything on their bed to come between them. After dinner, Xiang Ni and Xi Wang went to the home cinema on his property where they could have a movie night. On the table beside the sofa, the housekeepers have already placed a few bags of different favorite potato chips, a large barrel of sweet popcorn and a plate of cut fruits.

Xi Wang snuggle herself into Xiang Ni's embrace while the latest horror movie produced by Tang Yan's company started to show on the movie screen. Xi Wang was having the time of her life with Xiang Ni feeding her popcorn, chips and fruits and she just need to be responsible for opening her mouth.

Xiang Ni sigh while he looks at Xi Wang. It seems that he is right that ghosts or anything horror will have no effect on her. After all, Xiang Ni knew that Xi Wang is also the same mindset with him. The mindset that ghosts are better than humans. After all they are already ghosts and have no chances of hurting them unlike humans. The only thing that maybe will let Xi Wang jumped into his embrace will be if they were walking on glass panels while were in midair like their carriage ride today.

Maybe next time if he got the urge to scare Xi Wang, they could go to famous glass bridge in C country. After all they still need to be in the country as Xi Wang still also need to film Director Lee movie. That is why Xiang Ni did not choose to go to the ghost house while they were at the amusement park. Xiang Ni do not want Xi Wang to hurt his employees at the ghost house after all. Xiang Ni knew that if anyone try to scare Xi Wang, she will just hit them in the face.

A call came in at this time. Xi Wang paused the movie as she saw the call was from Director Ang.

"Uncle Ang, have your dinner already? Anything? Why did you call?"

Director Ang slowly said "Xi Wang, prepare yourself. You have been nominated for the golden dragon awards for your role in Glory. Although you need to prepare yourself that you may not be able to win. After all you are just a newbie actress. And there are few other veterans that were also nominated for the awards."

Xi Wang calmly said "Nice. If I do win, is a bonus. Anyway, since I will need to stay in C country as I need to film Uncle Lee's movie. Maybe when you are free, you just tell me so I can invite you for a family dinner just to thanks you."

"I will tell you when I am free, Xi Wang. But if you really want to thank me, you can choose to be my royal appointed actress in my future movies or dramas if the role suited you."

"do not worry uncle ang. I definitely agree. After all there is no reason for me to said no especially you are the first person to introduce me roles."

After talking for a few more seconds, Director Ang hang up while thinking on how he is right that he expected that Xi Wang will not be excited. This further affirms to Director Ang that his foresight is good that he chooses her to film his drama. To him, a skilled and confident actress like Xi Wang is a treasure as he expects her to sweep through acting awards in the future even on an international stage.

"looky looky, one award down and one more award to go before I can choose a half retirement life to focus on you and our family. So, there is lesser chances of you being jealous in the future." Xi Wang pluck a kiss on Xiang Ni lips before saying. This is how confident Xi Wang is on winning the award and that is why she never mentioned to Xiang Ni that she may lose the award.

"I look forward to the day. My dear. And now it is time for me to clean your lips." Xiang Ni said while he turns Xi Wang so that he is laying on top of Xi Wang.

Xi Wang lips is glistering from the slight oil of the popcorn and potato chips. So, Xiang Ni choose to attack Xi Wang before she could protest.
