Chapter forty-six 

The day of giving birth.

Ying Yong was hurried into the chamber that was already a long time ago prepared for her giving birth. Although Ying Shimin hands were shaking, he still did as what was taught by Ying Yong. Ying Shimin injects pain free medicine into Ying Yong and also use his needles to stop the pain nerves of Ying Yong just to be on the safe side. At first, the female doctors thought that everything is over in consideration of the fact that the crown princess has told them that she was pregnant with two babies. But the female doctors were stunned with fear when they saw large amount of blood appearing on the bed. Not only that there was once again movement of Ying Yong's stomach. The female doctors fear that it was most likely a situation of choosing between the crown princess or the baby. Ying Shimin with one hand held by Ying Yong started to shoot needles into Ying Yong blood acupuncture points in order to stop her from bleeding. It seems the bleeding has caused the pain measures that Ying Yong has taken to lost effect. And Ying Yong held Ying Shimin hand so tight that he could almost feel his bones cracking. Ying Shimin yelled "what are you two idiots doing? The crown princess is the most important!"

Finally, a daughter was announced and after that the female doctors announced the end of the giving birth. Ying Zhen, Ying Xiong, Ying Lihua and the empress Ying Fei Yi came into the chamber. Ying Shimin and Ying Yong were in their own world with Ying Shimin tenderly wiping Ying Yong's sweat. Ying Shimin was cooing at Ying Yong trying to reassure her that their babies will grow prettier in the future despite being ugly now. The rest of the people in the chamber were just happily alternating in carrying the babies and cooing at them.

Fifteen years later

In the imperial study, Ying Zhen and Ying Xiong was in their early seventies and drinking tea while looking at the three children in front of them. Ying Taizong, the emperor, Ying Hongxi, the second prince was busily reading and marking the edict that was in front of them on the imperial study table.
