I began writing because I simply couldn't find stories similar to what I wrote and for those that are written, I have already read them. Or they go on indefinite Hiatus and then I feel empty inside. What to expect? -Strong Mc to even more OP MC -MC is Cold and Cunning / If he does something out of good will, it is because it will benefit him. -MC is Non-Human -Side characters that each serve their purpose / and aren't just forgotten. -Slow paced build up and a few time skips but small jump skips. -Decent World building is a must -No Harem/ but some small romance -Kingdom building -System/ but won't focus too much on crunching numbers. It will be kept at reasonable numbers. -1 chapter a day keeps the reader at bay. -Each chapter is 1,300 to 1,700 words. Chapter 63: War campaign Part 2
As the golems stormed the town, the Oros defenders tried their hardest to counter their attacks, but it proved useless. Even when stabbed or decapitated, the golems continued fighting as if nothing fazed them.
After an hour of fighting, the human fighters grew tired. Their weapons and armor grew heavier by the second, while the golems remained untiring. This gave the golems an advantage as they pushed the humans farther into the town.
While the Oros defenders fought for their lives, their general was jumping over the rooftops of buildings, skillfully dodging attack after attack from the black gold golems.
Earlier, he had managed to drive back the regular golems with his weapon alone, but once these larger variants came, he was the one being pushed back. It wasn't even possible for him to give orders to his men. All he could do was hope that his commanders could keep the leadership in order while he dealt with the stronger fighters of the enemy.
