The day has just started but I feel like it isn't. After eating, he asked too many questions when it should be I, who should be interrogating him. He's outside but I can still hear him, loud and clear. "So, you're in senior high? What strand are you taking?"

I ignore his questions and continued putting on my school uniform. While he, on the other hand, seems to not get tired of speaking. "What course are gonna take up in college? I can recommend you some great universities"

As soon as I finished, I got out of my room and there he is. Leaning against the wall while his hands are crossed and looking up at the ceiling. He may noticed me because he looked at my eyes and smiled.

"Let's go. You're getting annoying" I looked away and started walking.

I heard him laugh. I told him that he's being annoying but he just laughed.

"Do you know how to drive?" he nodded and I asked the maid if they've seen my driver. They said that he's already outside. We went to the garage and saw that the car is ready. "Drive us to school and teach him the directions because he'll be the one who will take me home later."

I got in the car and seated in the backseat. The driver went in and sat on the driver seat while Eros sat next to him. Eros being talkative, started talking to our driver. I ignored them and used my phone as we're on our way to school. I can hear him laugh about something. The first time that ever happened in the car

"Hey" I looked up when I heard him.

"What?" I looked at both of them and saw that they're smiling while looking back at me.

"We're here" then he pointed the window. We are indeed here, and I saw Joanna outside waiting for me.

"Thanks" was the last thing I said and got out from the car. Joanna smiled when she saw me.

Just when I thought that he'll stop there, I heard the rolling of the car's window. "See you later. Take care."

Joanna's eyes widened as well as her mouth. He pointed someone who's behind me and then to me. I rolled my eyes and I grabbed her arm and pulled her as I started walking. She got her arms away which made me stop. I thought she's angry but when I look at her she looks like she already had her gift. I started walking and she followed me.

"Who was that?" I was about to lie when she she added "Don't lie to me. I know most of your housemaids and drivers are way older than you, plus that's not Mr. Balmund"

"Balmund who?"

She rolled her eyes and looked at me, disappointed at something I don't know. "Your driver! You still don't know their names? You've been living there all your life but you still still label them as your driver or housemaid"

"Fine. I will ask for their names. Is that alright?"

She again rolled her eyes "You still don't get it. By the way, who's the guy?"

"That's Eros. I just met him this morning"

"Eros. The same name with the character on your work" she spoke slowly, I turned to look at her and saw the teasing look she has on her face. Why didn't I expect this one. "Have we met him before? Because I can't really explain this feeling. I think that this is not the first time we saw him"

"That's impossible. Because he came from literally somewhere we can't even go to"

"No, really. I'll stand with my gut. We've met him before"

I sighed as we reach our room. She looked serious with what she said. Maybe he just have a look-a-like. Yeah. Maybe he just have one that's why he feels like someone we know. We sat down and as soon as our teacher came in, the day in school started.

We're in our third subject and the teacher is discussing when my phone rang. I kinda forgot to put it on silent mode and everyone looked at me. I said "excuse me" and our prof let me. I ran just to go outside the room. I saw that it's my mom who called. I answered it.

"When your classes are done, go straight home. We're going to talk about your 'friend'" I closed my eyes as I thought about the 'talk' with my mom.

"Yes, mom" she hung up. I walked back to classroom and sat down. Nothing's happening yet but I'm terrified. Being in a room with my mom can make me wet my pants. That's gross but it's the truth.

I felt someone poke me and when I turned my head to my side and saw Joanna "Is it your mom?"

I nodded and she also did. She know how scary my mom is. She snuck out of their house once just to sleep over. Her mom found out and called our house to look for her. My mom was the one who answered and went in my room. She saw us laughing and that's when she started talking, nagging rather. Joanna got to stay for a night but as soon as the sun comes up, she headed home and been grounded. She only encountered her once but she consider it the most scariest night of her life.

I consider her lucky because she doesn't get to live her nightmare. Don't get me wrong. I love her. But she's scary, trust me.

I wished that the time will slow down. For this moment to be at still. But I'm no luck with wishes. Because it's 8 pm. Our dismissal.

"I'll have white roses for you. Bye, bestie" she acted like crying. She's no help! I waved my goodbye and get in the car. I almost forgot that Eros will be picking me up now.

He looked at me through the rear-view mirror "You fine? You look tense"

"I will be talking to my mom later, that's why. Didn't she talk to you?"

"Yeah. She did. She's cool actually. She said that I can work in your house for a mean time or be in your coffee shop" He started driving while I'm in awe. My mom will never say that.

"Are you sure it's my mother whom you talk to? I mean, it's my mother" he looked again at the rear-view mirror for a second then went back to the road. I heard him laugh. "This is not a joke. This is a serious matter for your information"

"Because you sounded ridiculous. Yes. Your mom. She said that" he talked slow. It's as if he's talking to a toddler who can't understand.

He stopped when we reached our home. Please be nice to me, Mother.
