A Human's Sentience: Emotion Core

In the Capital City of Zertala, a place where the first Zeita who was superior in knowledge over the other races of Automata – was able to create the True Autescence.

Ceicilla, the sole survivor of the race was able to achieve the Lost Wish of the Ancient Humans. Nevertheless, publicly announcing the creation of the Autescence was set on a halt, and need prior discussion due to the other races.

The theory that was written on the Ancient Data which was a complex formulae and beyond the knowledge of an Automata was able to be properly analyze by Ceicilla herself.

Despite being able to thoroughly analyze the details that was written on the Ancient Data, Ceicilla humbled herself by giving thanks to the hints that was left by the Creator.

Even though she created "ATS-1" as the first born Autescence, he was unable to boot up or bring him to life due to an insufficient requirement. The written data states that;

"One must establish the creation of one, but the one that is created will be needing a pair for their nature.

Just as how humans are created, one must be born by the same nature and conquer the solitude that first originated."

As Ceicilla read this, she was a bit flustered by it; knowing that this knowledge is where humans multiply themselves and hence called "Procreation", she also realized that it's a sign of unity and resonance.

Thereafter, she created another Autescence and named it as "ATS-2" hence the resonation of the two began.

As the two woke up and saw their creator, Ceicilla was surprised by their sudden behavior and was astonished by the knowledge of the 2nd child, ATS-2.

"Hm, Mother...? Mother!"

ATS-2 uttered,

She immediately rushed towards Ceicilla and hugged her the moment she woke up from startage and called Ceicilla as her "Mother".

Ceicilla was startled by ATS-2's action and felt a shock similar to a short-circuit from her entirety. However, she felt warm after, not because of overheating, but a warmth that she never felt before.

Just as it was written;

"When this theory is comprehended and achieved by my childrens, they will feel a similar warmth of the humans; a sensation that they've never felt before...

A soothing emotion of joy that will spread to anyone they've touched,"

At that moment, a drop of tear falls from her eyes. It was something that has never seen nor happened before, and not something that is created from their mechanical bodies.

"I... I see..."

Ceicilla hugs ATS-2 as she felt such astonishing sensation, the Emotion of the Ancient Humans.

"So this is what our Creator wants us to achieve... this is the first time I've ever felt such joy from an accomplishment."

Seeing her mother cry, ATS-2 gently wiped the tears of her mother.

"Uhm... are you ok, Mother...?"

"Ah, this is..."

Just before Ceicilla was able to utter a word, ATS-1 disrupted the awkward atmosphere.

"ATS-2... don't make our mother have a hard time, you're making her cry now."

"Ehhh...? I-I'm sorry mother if I did something wrong, please forgive me."

ATS-2 was flustered.

"Fufufu, you don't need to worry. This is the first time that I'm feeling this kind of sensation, it is called Emotion by the Creator; I thank them."

The two smiled as they saw their mother chuckled.

Afterwards, Ceicilla gave them proper names as well as her family name for them.

"From here onwards, your names will be apart of my lineage and will be called Cecile Sense and Ceil Sense."

Both siblings were pleased by their names and was delighted to see their mother.

After a while, someone from the authorities of the Deitas entered the room unattended while reporting to her.

{ Ms. Ceicilla, you are informed to... }

The man was speaking in a cold yet synthetic voice while having no expression as he witnesses the two.

{ Hm, So you've succeeded in creating them. As expected from the last Zeita. }

He said as he recorded it on a digital note.

{ This will be a big news to the people of the city, I advise you to immediately report it to the rulers Ms. Ceicilla... }

{ The celebration of the birth of Autescences will be announced two weeks from now. I hope that you're ready, I shall take my leave. }

He left the room in silence after uttering his thought. Meanwhile, the two remained doubtful and suspiscous over the man who spoke so casually towards them.

Ceicilla explained to them what the man meant and was easily able to understand.

She became a bit worried after receiving the essence of emotion and felt a similar sensation called as "the Motherly Love". However, Ceicilla resolved herself to protect the two of them harm even if it means leading to her death.

The next day, Ceicilla's daily life became more vibrant and colorful than the past, it was a soothing sensation ever since the two of them arrived.

And before she noticed, she herself was preparing a food similar to that of the Ancient Humans.

She was a bit puzzled since Automatas can lived for many decades and centuries even without a sustainable food. But ever since the one of her child touched her, she experiences new sensation to that of the Ancient Humans.

"Mother! Can I take a walk outside?"

"Hm, I'll allow it... but take Ceil with you."

"Thanks, Mother!"

Cecile delightfully hugged her as she was given permission and was caressed on her head by her mother, asking them to be careful.

Ceicilla informed them to return before dinner which the brother was able to clearly hear.

After they left the living room, Cecile rushed straight towards the balcony and almost stumble, hurting herself. However, her brother was able to catch her up despite being in the lead, saving her from injuries.

"T-Thank you, brother!"

"You idiot, didn't mom said not to run like that?"

"Ehehe, sorry brother..."

Ceil sighs.

The two are quite close to each other despite the difference on their personalities, they then gazed from the balcony and aaw the beauty of their city.

After that, Cecile noticed the garden that is just below them and pointed it for her brother to notice.

"C-Can we go...?"

Says Cecile as she's nervous from her brother's response.

Ceil smiled as he noticed his sister's adorable expression, deciding to allow it as long as she follows his directions.

"Hmph, ok. As long as you don't run like earlier, shall we go?"

He reached out his hand as he utters, escorting Cecile towards the garden.

Cecile smiled as she reaches the hand of her brother, it was a day full of joy and delight.
