Shiny Hunting

"Our heroes continue the trail to Fuchsia City! Jessie and her friends are getting one step closer to Jessie competing for her fifth badge."

Jessie and Domino are both walking, Meowth is on Jessie's shoulder and James is walking and looking at the map.

"How far are we until we get to Fuchsia, James?" Jessie asked.

"We should be there in a day or two, as long as we keep continuing on this trail," James answered.

"No distractions, right?" Domino questions.

Jessie shakes her head no. "No distractions!"

Meowth sighs. "This will probably not age well."

"Besides, what will distract me?" Jessie questions herself.

"Well well well… look what we got here!" A familiar voice to Domino, Meowth, and especially Jessie, is heard.

The gang turns around to see Leaf walking towards them.

"If it isn't little mama's girl, Jessie!" Leaf grins.

"LEAF?!" Jessie, Meowth, and Domino both screamed out with Jessie being the loudest.

The title screen shows.

"Shiny Hunting!"

James raises an eyebrow and realizes. "Oh! You were one of my challengers in Pewter City when I was the substitute Gym Leader back then!"

"And I absolutely swept your garbage team with my Bulbasaur." Leaf smirks.

James just sits down and groans in embarrassment. "Ugh…"

Leaf turns to her rival, Jessie. "Anyways, you're heading to Fuchsia City too, I'm assuming? How did you even get in front of me? I just beat Sabrina from Saffron City and got the Marsh Badge. I'm assuming you did too?" She raises an eyebrow.

Jessie's eyes widened. "Uhh… yep, I did defeat her!" She lies with a nod and chuckles.

Domino whispers in Jessie's ear. "But Jessie, you didn't-"

Jessie immediately cuts Domino's sentence by shushing her.

Leaf grins. "Oh really then? So you think you're better than me, huh?"

Jessie grits her teeth. "By a long shot, yeah!"

"I bet you have never even caught a Shiny Pokémon, did you?" Leaf continues grinning.

Jessie looks dumbfounded. "'Shiny Pokémon?'"

Leaf facepalms. "My goodness. You want to become a Pokémon master, yet you don't know what a Shiny Pokémon is? A Shiny Pokémon is a different coloration of a Pokémon to what is usual for its species! They're super duper rare to come by!"

Jessie's eyes start to sparkle in delight. "Wow, super rare?!"

Leaf nods and smirks. "Yep, and I already caught five of them!" She holds up five fingers.

Domino's jaw drops "Five of them?!"

James gets up. "You gotta be kidding me!"

Meowth nods. "Yeah!"

Leaf stares directly at Jessie. "How much have you caught yet, Jessie?"

Jessie thinks. "Umm… I bet I caught one without knowing." She says with confidence.

"No, you didn't…" Domino says.

Jessie glares at Domino. "Wow, thanks for the support, friend."

Leaf laughs. "Wow! You're still pathetic! You might've been ahead of me, but I'm still right in front of you miles ahead!"

"Oh yeah?! I bet I can capture my first Shiny Pokémon before you can catch another one!" Jessie declared.

"And my statement earlier did not age well," Meowth says quietly to himself.

"Okay, let's have a deal then! Follow me." Leaf starts walking in a different direction on the trail as Jessie and her friends follow.

It cuts to the gang and Leaf arriving at an entrance of a cave.

"A cave?" Jessie questions.

"This is no ordinary cave, Mama's girl. This is Diglett's Cave. This cave is filled with Diglett and Dugtrio" Leaf confirmed.

"A cave with just Diglett and Dugtrio? Interesting" Domino says.

"The bet is simple, Jessie. We both have a contest of who can catch a Shiny Diglett or Dugtrio in Diglett's Cave. Whoever does it first is the better Pokémon trainer. Do we have a deal?"

"Please don't agree. Please don't agree. Please don't agree." Meowth quietly says to himself repeatedly.

Jessie grins. "I agree!"

Meowth has an annoyed expression. "Of course."

"Are you sure you should go through this, Jessie?" James asked.

"Anything to get ahead of Leaf!" Jessie answered with excitement.

Leaf shrugs. "Okay. I guess the deal is one. We both shall enter Diglett's Cave!"

Jessie and the gang turn around, not facing Leaf. They enter Diglett's Cave. However, Leaf isn't entering the cave with them. She waits until the gang has walked afar to see her as she starts heading in a different direction.

Leaf starts laughing. "Jessie is so gullible! With her being distracted, I will be the first one to Fuchsia City!" She walks off to head to Fuchsia City.

It cuts to Team Rocket from afar, who were spying on the gang and seeing them enter the cave.

"So that twerpette is trying to capture a Shiny Pokémon, huh?" Cassidy says.

Mondo looks delighted. "You know if we capture a Shiny and give it to the boss, we three will definitely get those promotions!"

Butch has his arms crossed. "Too bad Shiny Pokémon are so rare to come across."

Cassidy grins. "Why do all the hard work? Once that twerpette finds a Shiny, we can simply steal it by throwing a Poké Ball before she does and it will be ours!"

"Great idea, Cassidy!" Mondo praises.

Butch shrugs. "Alright, I'm in on this plan. Owning a Shiny Pokémon is something I want Team Rocket to have!"

Team Rocket all pull out a Poké Ball. "Marowak, I need you!" "Let's go, Rattata!" "Mankey, you got this!" The trio all send out their Pokémon.

"Marowak!"

"Rattata!"

"Mankey!"

Both Cassidy and Butch have an annoyed expressions upon seeing Marowak.

"No fair! Why has your Pokémon evolved and ours not!" Butch complained.

Mondo chuckles. "Maybe I'm just the better Pokémon trainer! Maybe even a better Rocket member!"

"WHAT?!" Butch and Cassidy both yelled out.

"Excuse me but I'm the leader of this trio!" Cassidy confirmed.

Butch turns his attention to Cassidy of what she just said. "'Leader?' Who the fuck died and made you the leader?"

"Well I'm the one who makes all the plans and you both go through it, so obviously that makes me the leader of this trio," Cassidy answered.

Mondo rolls his eyes. "And every single one of your plans ends up failing."

Cassidy growls. "Well, maybe we will have a better chance if my Rattata evolves!"

"My Mankey would kick ass if they evolve into a Primeape," Butch added.

"Like I said, you two just completely suck as Pokémon trainers." Mondo shrugs.

Both Cassidy and Butch growl in anger. "OH YEAH?!"

As the Team Rocket trio starts arguing with each other, both Rattata and Mankey look at each other with weirded-out expressions, but both Pokémon soon nod at each other and begin glowing white.

Marowak looks amazed. "Marowak!"

Team Rocket is still arguing as Rattata and Mankey slowly evolve. The glow white soon fades away as Rattata officially evolves into Raticate and Mankey officially evolves into Primeape.

"Marowak!" Marowak tries to get the trio's attention as they're still arguing.

"WHAT, MAROWAK?!" Team Rocket yelled out.

But soon the Team Rocket trio gasped that there was a Raticate and Primeape in front of them and not a Rattata and Mankey.

"M-my Rattata," Cassidy says, still in shock.

"M-Mankey…" Butch added, also in shock.

"No way…" Mondo says, in disbelief.

"THEY EVOLVED!" Cassidy and Butch both go over to hug their respected newly evolved Pokémon.

Raticate and Primeape both smile at their trainers.

"Raticate!"

"Primeape!"

"Well… I guess I will shut up then." Mondo says.

"Now that our Pokémon evolve. We will finally steal that talking Meowth once and for all!" Cassidy declared with her fist raised.

Butch raises an eyebrow. "I thought we were stealing a shiny Pokémon from the twerpette's hands"

"After we do that, of course!" Cassidy answered.

"Then let's get moving!" Mondo demanded.

The Team Rocket trio exits the area to hatch up a new plan. It cuts to the gang inside Diglett's Cave.

"So… this cave only has Diglett and Dugtrio, right? No Zubat at all?" Jessie asked.

"Well, we have been walking for like ten minutes and we have yet to come across a Zubat. So I'd say yes, no Zubat in this cave." Domino answered.

Jessie sighs in relief. "Thank goodness, because in the last cave, I went through, I got swarmed by Zubat every time I took one single step."

James looks behind him and notices Leaf isn't right behind them. "Where did Leaf go?"

"I think she took a different direction in the cave," Jessie answered.

"Jessie, can we turn back and just head back onto our trail to Saffron City?" Meowth asked. "Leaf said these Shiny Pokémon are very rare to come by."

Jessie shakes her head no. "I gotta find a Shiny Dugtrio or Diglett, then I'll be better than Leaf!"

A tiny, brown Pokémon, that seems to be perpetually buried within the earth, pops in front of the gang. "Diglett dig! Diglett dig!"

"Whoa!" Jessie pulls out her Pokédex to identify more about the Pokémon in front of her, but-

"No service found. Pokédex inaccessible."

"This cave has no service?!" Jessie groans in annoyance. "Just great…"

"Well, of course, caves normally don't have service, but I can safely say this is a Diglett," James confirmed.

The wild Diglett smiles. "Diglett dig! Diglett dig!"

"Maybe it's Shiny?!" Jessie pulls out a Poké Ball, ready to catch it.

"HOLD IT!" Domino stops Jessie. "I saw a Diglett before and they have pink noses like this one."

The wild Diglett does have a pink nose. "Diglett dig!"

Domino continues explaining. "Leaf said Shiny Pokémon are Pokémon with a different coloration from their original species."

"So… what you're telling me is that this Diglett isn't Shiny?" Jessie asked.

"Yes, I am…" Domino says, looking annoyed.

"Diglett dig!" The wild Diglett pops back into the ground.

"Well, we shall continue searching then!" Jessie declared.

The gang continues walking through Diglett's Cave until they are stopped by another Pokémon, but this time, it was like three Diglett are grouped next to each other.

"Trio! Trio! Trio!" The wild Pokémon cries out.

Jessie looks amazed. "Whoa! Three Diglett at the same time!"

"That's called a Dugtrio. I believe they evolved from Diglett." Domino explained.

Jessie notices that the Dugtrio has pink noses and groans. "Pink noses…"

"Seriously, their evolution stage is just adding two more Diglett?" Meowth scoffs. "Sounds super lame."

The Dugtrio begins glaring at the gang.

James gulps. "Meowth, I don't think you should've said that."

"Trio!" The wild Dugtrio began shaking its body as the ground of the cave began shaking with it as rocks began to fall above them, causing the gang to scream in fear.

"WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" James screamed out while running.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Jessie questioned while running and screaming.

"IT'S EARTHQUAKE! ONE OF DUGTRIO'S POWERFUL ATTACKS!" Domino answered back while doing the same thing Jessie is doing.

"I ain't getting crushed." Meowth quickly hops onto Jessie's shoulder to reach her pink hat and then proceeds to hide under it.

All of a sudden, a bunch of rocks begin to fall right near the entrance of the cave and then it completely blocks the entrance that the gang entered from. Soon, the wild Dugtrio stops shaking and the Earthquake stops as it pops back into the ground.

"I-is everyone alright?" Jessie asked, still a little scared.

"Yeah!" Domino and James both answered.

Meowth peeks out under the hat. "Meowth is fine!" Then he hops back onto the ground of the cave.

Jessie sighs in relief. "That was a close one!"

"Guys, the entrance!" Domino notices and points out.

Jessie, Meowth, and James soon all look to see the entrance of the cave blocked off.

"EEP!" James shrieked.

The gang sprinted towards the now-blocked entrance of the cave.

"OH NO, WE'RE TRAPPED!" Jessie starts shaking in fear.

"I told you we should've turned back when we got the chance, Jessie!" Meowth yelled out.

Jessie glares at Meowth. "Well, maybe you shouldn't have made that Dugtrio mad in the first place!"

Meowth looks down and keeps his mouth shut.

"So what are we supposed to do?" James asked.

"Maybe we could call for Leaf?" Jessie runs up right in front of the blocked entrance. "LEAF HELP, WE'RE STUCK!"

However, there was no reply back.

Domino sighs. "I'm afraid that's not going to work, Jess."

"Do you have any ideas then?" Jessie asked in an annoyed tone.

"I actually do, thank you very much." Domino begins explaining. "I think we can move these rocks if we use the water Pokémon we currently have."

James nods at the idea. "That could work!"

The gang all pull out of a Poké Ball.

"Squirtle, I choose you!"

"Go Starmie and Goldeen!"

"Slowbro, let's go!"

The gang all send out their water-type Pokémon. However, Goldeen was splashing on the land.

"Goldeen! Goldeen! Goldeen!"

Domino groans. "I forgot, you can't battle on land…" she recalls Goldeen back into its Poké Ball.

"Okay everyone, we got ourselves in a pickle and need your help! I want you all to use Water Gun and try to move the rocks!"

All of the gang's Pokémon nod. "Squirtle!" "HYAH!" "Slow… bro!"

Both Squirtle and Starmie use Water Gun on the rocks, blocking the entrance as Slowbro is just standing there.

James blanks. "Come on Slowbro, use Water Gun!"

Slowbro takes a few seconds before actually using Water Gun on the rocks blocking the entrance.

James sighs. "Sometimes you make me slow in the head for taking your time…"

All three water-type Pokémon are using Water Gun on the three rocks, but they won't budge. Squirtle, Starmie, and Slowbro all keep using Water Gun until they get fired out, which they do, and start catching their breath.

"These rocks are tougher than I thought…" Domino admitted.

James gets an idea. "I know what we can do!"

Jessie, Domino, and Meowth all give their attention to James.

"Gastly is a ghost Pokémon, not only it can simply go through solid objects like the wall of this cave, but it can speak the human language and call for help!" James explained.

"That's not a bad idea, Jimmy!" Meowth praised.

Domino nods in approval. "Definitely better than my plan by a long shot!"

"Send Gastly out, James!" Jessie commanded.

James pulls out Gastly's Poké Ball. "Gastly, we desperately need you!" He sends out the Pokémon.

"What do you want? I was happily relaxing in my Poké Ball!" Gastly said.

"We need your help, bad. I want you to go through the cave wall to get to the outside and get some help because we're trapped in this cave. Inform Officer Jenny or something." James explained to Gastly.

Gastly thinks for a little bit. "Hmm… okay!"

"Yes!" The gang all said, high-fiving each other in excitement.

Gastley starts floating toward the wall and was about to go through it until he noticed something. "Wait… before I go through this wall, is it sunny outside?"

"Well, we've only been in this cave for like thirty minutes," James says while looking at his watch. "So I'd say yeah, it's still sunny."

Gastly immediately backs away to hide behind James. "I hate sunlight! I can't go out there!"

"Come on Gastly, this is an emergency!" James said.

Gastly shakes its head no. "I refuse!"

"Well, there goes that plan…" Meowth said.

"Hey James, may I see your map?" Domino asked.

"Oh, sure!" James hands over Domino his map.

Domino opens the map up and begins looking at it and then she notices something. "I got some good news and bad news…"

"What's the good news?" Jessie asked first.

Domino tells the good news first. "The good news is that according to this map, there is another way out of this cave."

Jessie, Meowth, and James all perk up after hearing there was another way out.

"Let's get out of here then!" James directed.

"Hold on there." Domino proceeds to tell the bad news. "The bad news is that the exit will take us down the painful trail and back to Route 2… right next to Pewter City."

Jessie, Meowth, and James all fall in disbelief.

"I'm not starting at the very beginning!" Jessie complained. "It took me so many days to reach where we are right now."

"And I'm not heading back to Pewter City," James added.

Jessie starts exploring deeper in the cave with Domino, James, Meowth and the rest of the Pokémon looking on.

"What are you doing?" Domino asked.

"I'm looking for a Shiny Diglett or Dugtrio, that's what I'm going to do!" Jessie continues walking.

"Squirtle!" Squirtle quickly follows its trainer.

Domino sighs. "When is Jessie going to learn that she's been tricked by Leaf?"

"Wait what? Tricked?" James questioned.

Domino nods. "Yeah, this was one whole trick by Leaf so she could get further than Jessie."

"Oh… that explains a lot," James says.

Meowth growls. "I knew it! But she just doesn't listen to me! We should've continued our path to Fuchsia City!"

It cuts to Jessie with Squirtle, exploring deeper in the cage. She looks around to see a lot of Diglett and Dugtrio moving around the cave.

"Diglett dig! Diglett dig!"

"Trio! Trio! Trio!"

"Diglett dig! Diglett dig!"

"Trio! Trio! Trio!"

The tune continues repeating from the Diglett and Dugtrio.

Jessie groans. "This will definitely won't get annoying…"

"Squirtle…"

It cuts back to Domino, Meowth, and James with Starmie, Gastly, and Slowbro.

"Maybe if we scream so loud for help, a traveler will hear us?" James suggested.

"That could work, Jimmy. But I don't know if I'm ready for a sore throat." Meowth says.

"Hold on, will both of our loud yells cause more rocks to fall above us?" Domino questioned.

James thinks for a little bit. "You could be right, but maybe if just one of us yells, it won't cause the rocks to fall on us?"

"This is a major risk, but…" Domino shrugs. "At this point, we have to try every option possible."

"So who will be the one yelling? I'm not because like I said before, I'm not dealing with a sore throat in the future." Meowth says.

Domino leans her mouth towards the rock and takes a deep breath. "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP US! WE'RE TRAPPED IN HERE!"

It cuts to outside the entrance of the cave where the same Haunter from earlier is floating around.

"Ha! Ha! Haunter!" Haunter cried out.

Haunter hears Domino's yelling voice coming from the cave. "Haunter?" The Pokémon floats toward the entrance of the cave to see it's blocked off.

It cuts back inside the cave where Domino, James, and Meowth are at.

Domino sighs in disappointment. "No one is going to save us."

James tries to look at the bright side. "Well, we got our water Pokémon to keep us dehydrated! We should be able to survive until someone notices we're gone, right?"

"Our dehydration problems are solved, but not hunger!" Meowth pointed out.

James frowns. "Oh right…"

Haunter comes out of nowhere from the wall of the cave and gets James, Meowth, Domino, and especially Gastly's attention.

"Ha! Ha! Haunter!" The Haunter cries out.

"HAUNTER!" The trio shouted out.

Meanwhile Gastly rolls their eyes. "Oh great, you again…"

James turns to his Gastly, confused. "Wait, huh?"

"This is the same Haunter from the Pokémon Tower that Dumb and Dumber tried to catch a few days ago." Gastly answered.

"So the Haunter followed us?" James questions.

"It appears so," Gastly answers James once more.

"I don't care, we're saved!" Meowth jumps up in excitement.

"Haunter, we're trapped in Diglett's Cave. Can you go outside and inform someone so we can be rescued, please?!" Domino pleaded to the Pokémon.

"Ha! Ha! Haunter!" The Haunter proceeds to go through the wall of the cave and then ends up back outside and floats out of the area.

"I hope that was a yes…" Domino said.

"Why couldn't you go outside like that Haunter?" James glares at Gastly.

"I don't like sunlight! Leave me alone!" Gastly demanded.

Meowth leans on the cave wall. "Now we play the waiting game…"

It cuts to the deeper part of the cave where Jessie is with Squirtle. Looking around all the Diglett and Dugtrio moving around the cave and having pink noses.

Both Diglett and Dugtrio continue with their tunes. "Diglett dig! Diglett dig!" "Trio! Trio! Trio!"

Jessie ends up singing a parody of a version of their song while looking at the pink noses of Diglett and Dugtrio."Red noses! Red noses! Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!" She sang.

Squirtle sighs in exhaustion. "Squirtle…"

"We have been looking for an hour, Squirtle, yet we haven't found any Diglett or Dugtrio without a pink nose…" Jessie sighs as well.

Squirtle looks on its right side and notices a Diglett with a different color nose. "Squirtle!" The Pokémon tries to get its trainer's attention.

Jessie turns her attention to her Pokémon. "What is it, Squirtle?"

"Squirtle!" The Pokémon points at the unfamiliar Diglett with a different nose color.

"Huh?" Jessie looks in the direction where her Squirtle is pointing and notices it too. The Diglett, they're looking at, has a blue nose instead of a pink one."No way, c-can it be?" Jessie said in disbelief.

"Diglett dig! Diglett dig!" The Diglett with a blue nose is moving along as it sparkles around it.

Jessie smirks. "That's Shiny Diglett right in front of me! Squirtle, are you ready?"

Squirtle nods. "Squirtle!"

"USE WATER GUN!" Jessie screamed out in command.

"Diglett?" The Shiny Diglett cries in confusion.

Squirtle hops in front of the Shiny Diglett. "Squirtle!"

The Pokémon releases a stream of water from its mouth right at Shiny Diglett.

"Diglett!" The Pokémon takes major damage from the Water Gun being super effective.

Jessie grins and pulls out a Poké Ball. "Now you're mine, Shiny Diglett!"

Jessie was about to throw her Poké Ball at the Shiny Diglett when she heard rumbling above her from the ceiling of the cave.

Both Jessie and Squirtle look above them in confusion. "What?" "Squirtle?"

A drill drops in front of Jessie, Squirtle, and Shiny Diglett, creating a hole in the ceiling.

Jessie and Squirtle both shield their faces from the dust heading towards them.

"What the?!" Jessie yelled out in confusion.

The dust clears up to reveal the three criminals Jessie is familiar with.

Cassidy's laugh is heard. "Prepare for trouble!"

Butch comes from behind her. "And make it double!"

"To infect the world with devastation!"

"To blight all people in every nation!"

"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"

"Cassidy!"

"And Butch, of course!"

"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!"

"Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight!"

"I'm Mondo alright!"

"Team Rocket!" Jessie shouted in frustration.

"Squirtle!" Jessie's Pokémon also shouted.

"I don't have Meowth with me, so you can go ahead and screw off!" Jessie demanded.

Cassidy wags her finger. "Silly, silly girl. We're not interested in your precious talking Meowth today."

"Huh?" Jessie said in confusion.

"Nope. Today, we're gonna steal that Shiny Diglett right under your nose!" Butch says, pointing at the Shiny Diglett.

"Diglett?" It cries in confusion.

Mondo chuckles. "Blue nose, like that rare and valuable Shiny Diglett!"

Jessie growls. "I found this Shiny Diglett first, finders keepers! Go off and find your own!"

Cassidy laughs. "You sure are silly, huh twerpette? Why go through the hard way, if we can just do the easy way?

"And we got a surprise for you!" Butch grins, evilly.

Team Rocket all pull out their Poké Balls. "Raticate, get ready!" "Primeape, you got this!" "Let's show her, Marowak!" Team Rocket all send out their newly evolved Pokémon.

"Raticate!" "Primeape!" "Marowak!" Team Rocket's Pokémon all cried out in battle.

"Feast your eyes on me and Butch's newly evolved Pokémon!" Cassidy announced.

Jessie's eyes widened. "No way! The rest of their Pokémon evolved!" She grits her teeth and pulls out two Poké Balls. "Looks like I'm on my own here. Ponyta and Electabuzz, I need you!" Jessie sends out Ponyta and Electabuzz against Team Rocket.

"ELEBUBUBU!" "Neigh!" Jessie's Pokémon also cried out in battle.

Team Rocket and Jessie's Pokémon began battling.

The Shiny Diglett looks at the six Pokémon in confusion. "Diglett?" It cries in confusion.

Cassidy notices the Shiny Diglett and grins as she pulls out an empty Poké Ball. "You're mine!"

Jessie notices. "Oh no you don't!" She quickly pulls out an empty Poké Ball as well.

"Poké Ball, go!" Both Cassidy and Jessie said as they both threw their empty Poké Balls at the Shiny Diglett.

Both Poké Balls start heading towards the Shiny Diglett as it's now a race to see which Poké Ball hits the Shiny Pokémon first. After a very close race, Jessie's Poké Ball manages to hit the Shiny Diglett first as it goes in.

"YES!" "NO!" Jessie cheers as Cassidy growls.

Jessie's Poké Ball wiggles three times before clicking, signaling a successful catch.

"Yes, I caught my very first Shiny!" Jessie poses in victory.

Jessie's Pokémon flings Team Rocket's Pokémon toward their trainers after battling. Cassidy growls before grabbing the Poké Ball containing the Shiny Diglett that Jessie just caught.

"HEY, THAT'S MINE!" Jessie shouted.

"Well, now it's ours, little girl!" Butch says with a smirk.

"Let's get out of here!" Mondo commanded.

Jesske starts to think. "Wait, I have a full team. If I remember quickly, this should happen." She says in her thoughts. She notices her Pokémon was ready to attack Team Rocket. "Hold your fire!"

Squirtle, Electabuzz, and Ponyta all listen and stop.

"Look at the twerpette, she's letting us escape!" Cassidy laughs.

"About time she admits she lost!" Butch added with a laugh of his own.

Jessie's Poké Ball, containing Shiny Diglett, in Cassidy's hand, starts glowing white as Team Rocket looks in confusion then it gets transported, disappearing right in Cassidy's hand.

"WHAT?!" Team Rocket screamed out in disbelief.

Jessie smirks. "I knew that was going to happen! A full party means the Pokémon I catch gets safely transported to Oak's lab! Squirtle, Water Gun! Electabuzz, Thunderbolt! And Ponyta, Flame Wheel!"

"Squirtle! ELEBUBUBU! Neigh!" All of Jessie's Pokémon use the move that their trainer commanded as the three combined and started heading toward Team Rocket.

Team Rocket backed up towards their drilling machine and started hugging each other in fear as the three moves hit them and they soaked, electrocuted, and burnt all at the same time and screamed in pain. The drill also absorbs it, causing a huge explosion and sending Team Rocket and their Pokémon blasting off through the hole that they made earlier from the ceiling of the cave.

Cassidy growls. "I hate that twerpette!"

"Well maybe if your throwing was fast enough, we would've had it!" Butch says directly to Cassidy.

Mondo sighs. "Even when our Pokémon evolved, we still lost."

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Ding!

It cuts to where Domino, Meowth, and James are with Starmie and Gastly as they hear the explosion.

"Did you guys hear that explosion?!" Domino immediately asked.

Both James and Meowth nod in agreement. Domino recalls Starmie and James recalls Gastly as the trio head in the direction where the explosion came from. It cuts to Jessie, with her Pokémon, hearing the cave vibrating.

"Whoa, what's going on?" Jessie asked.

"Squirtle?" "Elebububu?" "Neigh?" All of Jessie's Pokémon cried in confusion.

Soon, rocks start falling rapidly from the ceiling, scaring Jessie and her Pokémon.

"AH!" Jessie shrieks. "Okay everyone, back in your Poke Balls!" Jessie immediately recalls her three Pokémon.

"JESSIE!"

Jessie hears her friends calling out her name and notices them running toward where she's at. "GUYS!"

A rock falls from above and almost hits James while he was sprinting.

Luckily James stopped at the last moment. "EEP!"

Soon after the gang is back together, they look up to see the hole from above that Team Rocket made with a big drill.

"We have to find a way to get up to that hole in the ceiling before the entire cave falls apart!" Meowth says.

Jessie turns to James. "James, give me a boost!"

James gets on one knee and puts his hands together, ready to boost up Jessie. Jessie backs up, ready to run, before a big rock drops near her.

Jessie gets spooked. "AH!"

"Come on, Jessie!" James demanded.

"Right, sorry!" Jesske runs forward to step on James' hands for a boost.

As Jessie takes a step right on James' hands, he then proceeds to boost her up right up to the hole in the ceiling. Jessie tries to reach for the top of the cave with her hands, but only her fingers manage to brush the top as she falls back to the cave ground.

"DAMMIT!" Jessie cursed out in disbelief.

"Well, guys… I guess this is it. I'm going to miss you all." Domino says.

"I barely say anything positive, but I'm gonna miss you three idiots as well!" Meowth added.

"Yeah! It was nice traveling with you all!" James also added.

The gang all hugged each other to brace for impact as the rocks falling from above got closer to them, almost caving in. But luckily, a piece of long rope drops in from the hole as the gang looks up to see Officer Jenny with Haunter, looking straight at them while Officer Jenny is holding the rope.

"Climb the rope quickly!" The officer demanded.

The gang immediately grabs onto the rope and begins climbing it as all four of them reach the roof of Diglett's Cave before the cave fully caves in. The gang all catch their breath while on the roof with Officer Jenny and Haunter.

"Thank goodness I got here right on time to save you four! Officer Jenny says with a smile.

Domino appreciates Officer Jenny and smiles back. "Yeah! Thank you so much!"

Jessie notices Haunter right next to Officer Jenny. "Haunter?"

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Haunter!"

It cuts to everyone off the roof of Diglett's Cave and back onto the ground right near the entrance of the cave as it's now blocked off.

"This Haunter here warned me about some people who were trapped in Diglett's Cave and I immediately rushed to the scene!" Officer Jenny explained.

"Thank you so much, Haunter!" James praised with a smile.

"Ha! Ha! Haunter!" Haunter laughs in response.

"Say Haunter… you helped us out back there." Jessie pulls out an empty Poké Ball. "How would you like to become my Pokémon?"

Haunter thinks for a little before nodding in agreement. "Ha! Ha! Haunter!"

"Awesome!" Jessie tosses her empty Poké Ball right at Haunter.

The Poké Ball touches Haunter as the Pokémon goes inside. The Poké Ball shakes three times before clicking, signaling a successful catch.

"I caught… Haunter!" Jessie poses once more.

Domino, James, Meowth, and Officer Jenny all clap for her. The Poké Ball glows white before getting transported.

"Well, you kids stay out of trouble!" Officer Jenny waves goodbye at the gang before she turns around, ready to leave.

As the gang was waving back, Domino whispers into Jessie's ear, telling her that she has been tricked by her.

Jessie's eyes widened before she started to become angry. "I'm so going to ki-" She notices Officer Jenny is looking back at her with a raised eyebrow in suspicion. "Kiss Leaf?"

Officer Jenny turns back around and continues on her way.

Meanwhile, it cuts to the gang walking back on the trail to Fuchsia City. Domino, James, and Meowth all started to laugh at what Jessie just said.

"DID YOU REALLY SAY YOU WERE GOING TO KISS LEAF?!" Domino yelled out with a laugh.

"I couldn't say 'kill!' Officer Jenny was looking right at me and I had to go with another option!" Jessie pouted while blushing in embarrassment.

"This is just too funny!" James says and continues laughing.

Jessie just shrugs. "Laugh all you want, but I have something that you two don't."

Domino and James both stop laughing and raise their eyebrows. "And what's that?"

Jessie grins. "A Shiny Pokémon!"

Meowth laughs. "She's got you there!"

"OH YEAH?!" Domino yelled out. "You know what me and James are going to have and you don't? Working arms!"

Jessie's eyes widened. "Uh oh…"

Meowth hops onto Jessie's shoulder as she sprints away with James and Domino running towards her.

"COME BACK HERE, JESSIE!" James yelled out.

"Jessie's Shiny hunting almost came to a disaster, but luckily she and the rest of her friends end up getting saved at the end as our heroes continue the trail to Fuchsia City! What's next for them as the journey continues!"
