43. Rod From God.

Lu Xiyan touches Akira, Lu Qiye, and Pakura once, and they start to float up and fly to the sky. On the ground, the rock shinobi led by Akatsuchi performed a combination jutsu.

A circle of ground around Groudon lowers by more than 100 meters. Kurotsuchi walks to the edge to see Groudon looking up and gathering energy in its mouth. She shouts, "It's charging the beam attack."

"Not on my watch. Erect the towers," Tesla shouts. Akatsuchi places his palm on the ground, and four massive Tesla towers rise from holes in the ground, surrounding the pit on four sides.

The Kumo shinobi picked cables connected to the towers.

"Start charging!"

The Kumo shinobi transferred electricity to the cables to charge the towers.

"Tower 1, fully charged."

"Tower 2, fully charged."

"Tower 3, fully charged."

"Tower 4, fully charged."

"Tower 1 attack," Tesla shouts. The Kumo shinobi at Tower 1 pulled the switch; a cable connected from it to Tesla's back transferred electricity. The lightning was converted into chakra by Tesla. He felt full—more than full—he felt overwhelming power. He reached his hands forward and then rained down lightning bolts on Groudon. The lightning paralyzed Groudon, making the energy bomb blow up in its face.

The painful scream of Groudon and Tesla's maniacal laughter were way louder than the roar of thunder. After Tower 1 used up its power, it was switched off, then tower 2 was switched on.

It was now the Kiri's time to perform. The Kiri shinobi were led by the Fourth and Fifth Mizukage. They brought a tsunami-sized water wave, filling the pit instantly and drowning Groudon. Terumi Mei was satisfied with her team's performance. She smiled and raised her hand, "Good work, team."

"Yay!" Kiri shinobi cheered.

On the other side, Genji was standing in the center of a triangle inscribed inside a circle. At the corners of the triangle were smaller circles in which three individuals sat: Naruto, Gaara, and Killer B.

"Remember, don't accidentally touch the inscription," Genji warns.

"What happens if we touch them?" Naruto asks.

"Our bodies will break down into soup," Genji said seriously. Naruto got scared and tried to make himself smaller.

Seeing Groudon drown, Genji knew it was time to start, "Get ready. You might feel lightheaded, but hold on."

He placed his hand on the ground, and the inscriptions started lighting up. "Release your chakra."

The three jinchurikis made a ram seal. The circle surrounding them found their chakra, started absorbing it, and transferred it to Genji. He felt a large amount of chakra filling him up, but he released it into the air as it was not the chakra he was looking for. As the jinchurikis' chakra decreased, the chakra of the sealed bijuus seeped out. Feeling this reserve, Genji pushed the process into overdrive and only selected bijuus' chakra.

The chakra of three was eye-opening for him. He felt that he finally knew what real power felt like. If his own chakra level was the size of a cup of water, then the chakra he had now was the size of a lake. He felt exhilarated; he felt he could flip the world on its head with a flick of his finger. A tearing pain woke him from his stupor. To accommodate the large amount of chakra, he had stored all of it as a chakra coat, but now it was so intense that it was burning his skin.

He knew that was not enough. He looked at Groudon, who was starting to glow up, and remembered the humiliation he had to suffer from Su Chen. He felt hatred building up in his brain, clouding his judgment, but he didn't need judgment because he needed to only complete one goal. So he let the hatred overwhelm him and absorbed more chakra. The skin from all his body peeled off.

He screamed in pain but still clapped his hands and then placed them on the ground. The chakra traveled through a pre-made line to the circle made just beneath the surface underneath Groudon.

"Neverending Frost," Genji muttered.

The cold wave climbed up from the ground to the water, freezing it on the way. After it reached the top of the lake, it didn't stop and started freezing moisture in the air to form a tree. The branches of the tree grew higher and higher, absorbing the raindrops.

The sound of rain stopped, and the world fell silent. Konan could see the massive tree made of ice on the horizon, she looked up to see shiny white stars falling from the sky. She put her palm up and felt the cold when the star landed. She looked at the clouds and muttered, "It's snowing."

Above the clouds, Akira felt the cold wave and knew it was time to go. He unfurled the scroll to see the summoning circle. He placed his hand on the circle and poured a massive amount of his chakra.

Bang!

With a cloud of smoke, a massive 80-meter rod with a sharp tip appeared. The rod was made by welding metal sheets together by Pakura, Akira had used his system to enchant it.

Lu Xiyan pushed everyone toward the rod; they stuck to it using chakra. Now it was Lu Qiye's turn to use his magnet release to guide the Rod From God. Gravity pulled them down to the earth. Feeling the air, Akira felt like he was flying. After they passed through the clouds, Akira and others felt the air heating up, so they bailed out while Pakura stayed.

On the ground, ninjas looked up to see the rod falling through the clouds, shining like a meteor. All things were on time, but they had a problem.

"It won't penetrate," Genji, who was being healed by Tsunade, muttered.

"What?" Tsunade was surprised; she put her ear closer to his mouth.

"Too much ice, it won't penetrate," Genji muttered. Now that he had used all his chakra, his mind was clear again. He remembered he used too much chakra in the heat of the moment. The trunk of the ice tree now became a barrier for the rod.

She turned and shouted, "Everyone, break the trunk of the ice to clear the way."

The ninjas executed her order because they didn't have time.
