Chapter 15: Proposal

"Now, please process everything I have said and ask any questions you might want to ask."

Xia Qingyue did not take any time at all and immediately spoke,

"How can I go to there?"

Alex knew that now was his chance," There are quite some ways, some include equipment which are not available on this star realm. There are only three methods left and that are,

first is to reach the Divine Origin Realm, it's a realm above the Sovereign Profound Realm. It will allow you to survive in the outer space and also allow you to get outside of the Blue Pole Star's boundary that stops the Sovereign Profound Realm cultivators from leaving it. But if you choose this, you will need to travel for around 100000 years before you finally reach the Realm of Gods and the lifespan of a Divine Origin Realm cultivator is only 10000 years, so it's a no go.

Second is to reach the Divine Sovereign Realm which would allow you to travel through Dimension cracks. This is the best one as it will give you at least a bit of strength to be able to speak there. As might makes right.

Third is to use the escape formation in your sect, yes there's one, we will talk about it later, but it's the most risky as it will take you to a random place in the Realm of Gods and even the strongest cultivators of those Sacred Grounds would be killed in a second there."

Alex then became a bit quiet and waited to let his words to sink in her mind.

And he then spoke with excitement, "But for you, my dear, I have a bumper option that will not only take you to the Realm of Gods, help you meet your mother and give you the ability to speak your mind out there without any fear of offending anyone and all of that will be done within the next 3 years. Wanna know what that is!??"

Xia Qingyue felt a bit weird at Alex's sudden excitement but still says, "Please tell me!"

Alex stood up and pointed his finger to himself with a large smile on his contradictory to the serious environment of the room and shouted, "ME!!"

The Ice queen got confused at that and asks "What do you mean?"

Alex continues with a smile and says that " I mean exactly what I said! I can promise to fulfill your life long dream of meeting your mother which I can guarantee that you won't achieve on your on."

Qingyue's face shone with hope and wanted to ask Alex something but Xia Hongyi was fast to speak first, 

"And why would you do that? You do not owe us anything, neither do we know each other nor have any relations with each other. So, what do you get out of helping me and my daughter? You must have something you want. But I can't figure out anything we have that could be of any value to a strong person like you."

Alex looked at Xia Hongyi with a look of surprise at his quickness of understanding the situation as he thought people were dumb in this world as it was a cultivation world but still said,

" You are right. There's no free lunch in this world. Yes, I can help you in achieving what I said and for that I indeed want something from you. But before that let me show you a bit of my credibility about myself."

Saying so Alex released all of his aura and soon enough, the aura of an Emperor level expert spread around the whole Floating Cloud City. The entire population of the city could feel an immensely terrifying aura coming from the Xia mansion. All of them were hoping that nobody had offended such a powerful being, lest the said being goes on a killing spree around the city.

Meanwhile, both Xia Hongyi and Qingyue were sweating a lot under the aura released by Alex. They felt immensely pressured even though there wasn't even a hint of murderous intent in the aura nor was the aura directed at them.

Within a few seconds, Alex withdrew his aura back and took the cup of tea and started to drink it and pretended as if nothing had happened.

Qingyue recovered from the shock first and then looked Alex with a look of desperation and asked "What realm are you even at!?"

Alex put back his cup of tea of the table and looked at Qingyue with a smile on his face and said,

"I am currently at the 1st stage of the Emperor Profound Realm and by the way I am 16 years old and just started to cultivate three to four months back."

saying so, Alex went back to drinking his tea after dropping the bomb.

Qingyue's face had turned pale," Im- IMPOSSIBLE!, how can that be? How can you be so strong at such a young age?"

Alex smirked at her shock and said, "What can I say? I am just too talented I guess."

Both Hongyi and Qingyue felt weird at that.

Alex continued to speak, "As you already know that I am currently at the Emperor Profound Realm but my current strength far surpasses that of the strongest of your sect and even that of the sacred grounds. With my strength there's only a few beings that can give me a bit of a challenge on this planet and mind you that none of them are humans. So, throughout this planet there's no human that can even put a scratch on me."

Both of our listeners found it hard to believe but the still the believed him as the earlier show of power was not supposed to come from a normal 16 year old guy.

Qingyue mustered up some strength and asked with hope in her voice," So, what is it that you want in return for helping me?"

Alex replied with a straight face," You! I want you to be my wife as I said earlier."
