A SOVIET RESPONSE

On June 3 1945 Berlin falls to the Americans.

To the South , German troops are now crossing into Poland.

But Polish militants are now fighting both the new German army and Soviet forces.

A cease fire between the German army and Polish forces are trying to be worked out.

This will give the chance on a Soviet counter attack.
