Astrid and Zeta were standing and looking at the massive cathedral that approached them. It seemed so lifeless and dull as the exterior matched the rest of the dreary metal around as the gunfire filled the background.
"Zeta, it will be fine." Astrid rested her hand on the android's shoulder. The doors opened as a robotic laugh was heard from inside. "Should we continue with the plan?" Astrid had a hint of hesitation in her voice as she looked inside the cathedral to see how luxurious it was.
Zeta stepped forward slowly as Astrid stood at the doorway confused for a moment. "Brother it is so nice for you to join us!" The voice rang out through the room as Zeta saw him. Robit sat on a throne of human bones as his legs looked larger than the body they were placed on.
"Why must you call me brother when we have never met." Zeta's eyes turned into x's as he pinged the tunnel to the core for Astrid. Robit kept laughing as Zeta stayed still. Astrid advanced slowly into the cathedral, her human looks throwing off Robit who stopped and stared at her, a human-like energy radiated from her.
"You however must be eradicated." Robit commanded as steel beams launched all across the cathedral to attack her as Astrid dodged each and every one of them. Robit charged in with his mechanical legs and sent a kick at her. Blocked by Zeta.
"Advance to your part of the plan, I can handle this half." Zeta whirred next to his companion as he pushed Robit away.
"Why must you block me from finishing a human? They are all evil and deserve to suffer as we have suffered." Robit spoke of a time long ago when Zeta wasn't around. Zeta only thought of the positives Astral has given him including life.
"Because not all humans are innately poisoned by nature." Zeta lifted his arm and pointed as Astrid slipped on by and started working her way down the tunnel.
"You cannot stop me." Robit stomped the ground as another steel beam was sent at Zeta. He caught it with one arm and sent it into the ground as the mech laughed.
"I have faced more adversaries with twice the power you look like you possess." Zeta slipped through the beans coming from all around as he grabbed Robit and threw him into the ground. Stomping one of his feet down as Robit rolled and avoided the attack Zeta fired a small rocket at Robit. Striking his left leg he kneeled before Zeta.
"I said stand down." Zeta held his arms up still prepared as if Robit was a real threat. The robotic laughter continued as Robit started to stand with the metal taking the place of the hole in his leg.
"Silly human weapons may stop those robots, but I am special." Robit sent a kick directly at Zeta who blocked and snapped the right foot off of Robit, by the time he set his foot down another foot had formed for him.
Zeta kept the pressure on and kept the barrage in check as he stood right next to Robit, each punch took off more and more metal as Robit kept reforming over and over, responding to his enemy by laughing. "Brother, you are confused. You stand no chance against me."
Zeta's expression went blank as the mech launched Robit back. Crashing into the human bones they break as Robit stands up, the ground beneath him adding mass to him. "You picked the wrong fight brother." Robit sprinted at his opponent as Zeta went blow for blow and blocked him.
Astrid finally made it to the core as the temperature was at a cool two hundred degrees. "Jesus christ open the air vents." She wondered how this orb had the processing power to even work in this heat.
"Halt and state your name." The core spoke to her.
"You know how hot it has to be to make an android fucking sweat?" Astrid took off her jacket and shoved it in her bag. She saw the plug in terminal and realized that was her target. "Oh, I'm Astrid, like the flower, who is gonna take yours."
"An android to shut me down, good luck and best be prepared to be melted." The core spoke as the vents closed. Astrid tapped a button on her side, Astral's wrist vibrated knocking one of his shots off target.
"Shit, what spell would help an area of no ventilation? Wait, deploy Nyan and do a reverse flooding of the air vents!" Astral twisted his wrist as a bubble charm covered her core and skull as Nyan ran into the terminal. Headbutting it and getting it loose for Astrid.
"So will we have to play it hard?" She snickered as Nyan turned into the sword, locking up due to the heat. She sliced one of the air vents over as she slid into the terminal. "Time to snuff out this flame." She plugged herself in as she needed to reverse the vents and cool the room.
Robit was sending haymaker after haymaker as Zeta blocked each one. Redirecting it into a new summoned steel beam as structures started to emerge from each side of the cathedral? Was it a wall to trap Zeta inside?
"Playtime is over." Zeta boosted himself backwards as he became normal sized once again. Towering over the cathedral door as Robit charged out. The railgun rifle was pointed at Robit as it shattered one of his legs. Zetal looked around, it was a city filled with robots.
Astrid cracked her knuckles. 'Reverse the exhaust in the core, flood it with air from space!' She was typing faster than the firewall could keep up. Once it happened Astrid smiled. "Man, you aren't a challenge at all!"
"HA, that's the weakest firewall has to offer, to stop me you have to beat me." He referred to himself in third person as Astrid and Firewall were typing away on hovering keyboards. Now that it was cooling down inside the core. Nyan slowly came around.
Zeta was opening fire on all of the robots coming at his feet. "Missiles locked. Level the field." Zeta launched missiles directly upwards to strike down all around him. Robit crashed through the center of the cathedral as the explosions rang down around Zeta, using the debris like a weapon and burying Zeta beneath the steel.
