Hidden Chamber (7)

A man appears that looks like a skilled fighter, given his posture and easiness standing in front of Erza.

The two exchanges pleasantries but ended it almost instantly since they both know that it not going to help both of them.

"Removing the formalities, draw your sword, and let's end this matter." Erza confidently announced.

"Agreed. We don't need unnecessary details if we're just going to fight in the end. I like that attitude of yours. By the way, I am Ryll, a pleasure to meet you... and goodbye."

Ryll dashes right before he ends his sentence, quickly unsheathing his long sword from the scabbard and aiming for the neck of Erza.

With his speed combined with his sword play, he seems to create an illusion of a mist as he swings his blade. His movements were incredibly fast, yet he sliced nothing but air.

'What? She evaded it? My Mist Blade?'

Shortly, his senses picked up something from the darkest of the forest. He uses the flat part of his sword to deflect a fast moving attack to that comes from Erza.

He then followed her with his blade, and launch a vertical strike, but once again failed to reach her.

Erza landed on the ground for a a second and backflip evading another attack.

She then finally attacked with her Serpent Sword Play.

She circles around her enemy — attacking him in every direction. It look like a snake coiling Ryll in every direction.

Surprisingly, Ryll deflected a few by matching it with his mist blade, how ever he sustained a few injuries from the attack.

'WHAT? Her movements is incredibly fast and flexible like a snake! I have never experienced something like this before.'

Minding his injuries, his goal tonight is to kill the enemy. So as an experienced fighting, he focused more on the fight while analyzing her movements.

Mist Blade, a sword technique that involves swift strikes and movements creating a hazy sense for their opponent to get confused.

Ryll dashes to Erza, quickly swing his sword at blinding speed from beneath her and delivery a quick slash. But once again, he fail to reach her as Erza jumped in the sky again evading the attack.

Erza uses the tree as a foothold and launch a normal strike aiming for his chest, but he bended instantly to evade it successfully.

In the point of view of Erza, she has finished analyzing his movements.

'His movements mostly rely in his speed, creating obscuring movements to confuse his enemy. His skill in above average but still lack training.'

Both stops and look at each other again.

"How was it? Tasting my blade?" Erza arrogantly announced.

"I admit, you're skilled. So I have a proposal. Why don't you join our ranks? I'm just a party leader of our organization, if I recommended you to be a part of us, I'm sure you will become a party leader just like me or reach even higher."

"I refuse. I was once a slave, so why would I join the group who abduct people to become slaves?" Erza reply in one calm tone.

"You're were a slave before? That figures why you save those kids. Well then, I guess negotiations has no place anymore. I guess, it's time for the curtains to fall."

Ryll dashes again ni blinding speed, he unleashes several slashes, however, he didn't expect that Erza will follow through by unleashing her technique to match with his.

Erza moves in a slithering manner, unleasing multiple slashes. With that kind of movements, she evaded every crescent blades of Ryll, and she instead landed a crucial hit.

Her experience in the past as a master of sword and an assassin greatly help with the fight.

She managed to kill Ryll by decapitating his limbs and head simultaneously, leaving no room for life to flourish again.

"You have a good sword skill, but it's no where enough to defeat me. But I guess, your identity and memories will become a great use to me someday."

And with that, just like Hiro and Erza, the slime devours Ryll, to become an asset in the future.
