Life 6: I'm definitely living that peaceful life

After a few days, his uncle had come in as he gave him some form of medicinal broth that helped reduce his injuries, that were left after exhausting his Spirit Cultivation.

And soon after he had learnt of the modern world and decided to head home, or more rather a base of his own.

And a day ago he had been told by Doctor Huang that he could if he wanted to leave the hospital and be discharged.

The only reason he was still here was because of his integration with modern society.

After all, he had the memories of an immortal who cultivated for thousands of years. It was only natural it took time to adapt to modern society.

Since he was told he could be discharged he had gotten his new school clothes and his new phone.

He had set it up already and created a new account on most things, he was reborn so a fresh start was always needed.

But to regain his strength he would need Zhen Qi and a hella lot of it.

And the only way he would regain his power was through medicinal herbs, and the only way to buy them was through a legitimate business.

After his thoughts had finished he quickly dressed up putting on his new school's school uniform.

The clothes were a perfect fit as Adam fixed up his cuffs and straightened his collar before buttoning his blazer up finally he was finished as he took a look at his phone's screen.

The screen displayed his prim and proper form as his golden eyes glinted in the light as his black hair was combed into two parts.

"Hmm, I wonder what they'll all think seeing such a different appearance compared to the Adam in my passport pictures, it doesn't matter I've rewritten Huang's memory to make it seem that I received facial reconstruction."

"It doesn't matter regardless as my first goal is to first at least increase my strength somewhat."

After a bit of fiddling to get his appearance perfect, he headed out as he displayed his patient card before exiting the building.

In the process causing multiple nurses and doctors to gawk at such a charming person.

His charm was mixed with a regal tone as he gave a feeling of oppression and charm out as he walked like a lone warrior ready to enter the war and cause mass destruction.

As if one was compelled to tell him what was on their minds. As they drooled from behind looking at his form.

But Adam in question merely side glanced at them as his glance shot them a love heart straight through their hearts as he carried on walking to his new school.

To a normal person merely walking to the school from the hospital was simply impossible due to the long trek between the two distances but to Adam, this was no different than eating and drinking.

On his trek here he had already become lost as he had no idea where the school was and so to find the location he was going to quickly read a locals memory.

But to do that in public he had to be quiet so he moved to a glasses-wearing kid as he asked.

"Hey hello there I'm sorry for asking but do you know the location to..."

But before Adam could say something, the kid interrupted annoying him but he let it go on as he told him.

"Umm don't you know you have a GPS navigation app on your phone."

"Here I'll show you..."

Speechlessly Adam handed it over as he quickly showed him how to use it and his previous memories surfaced as he realised how to locate his new school.

Seemingly embarrassed the Assassin headed off so fast they only saw a blur as the glasses kid thought he was talking to a ghost scaring him quite a lot.

As his facial expressions morphed into that of disbelief as soon it went back to normal with the kid saying, "Wait what was I just doing?" He said in confusion as if someone had cut a chunk of his memories.

'Damn it. That was the last of my Qi!'

Growled Adam Internally as he slapped himself on the head, now he was truly no different than a mortal other than having an above-average body.

As Adam walked off to school his mind was slowly assimilating with all of his predecessor's memories as slowly his mind remembered that his predecessor used to get bullied at school by the others who believed delinquency was simply having fun.

As they forced his predecessor to undergo humiliation and humility every day forcing him to be their shuttle boy making him give his allowance to them but no one helped not even the teachers.

They merely turned a blind eye to all this going as he remembered everything that had happened to him.

And due to this, he wished to make a new start and a new life considering he was recently just awakened.

So he had told his uncle to transfer him to another school and a room to rent in while in school so he would focus on his subjects and not mess about at home.

The school he was going to now was just a low-level vocational one, but it didn't bother him as even though he had his predecessors memories his Li Yan side was too dominant.

And seeing as how it was so long since he'd been a mortal Adam chose to enjoy this life to the maximum, he'd make new friends and a new start.

This was going to be a nice and friendly life, where he'd not focus on much other than experiencing the mortal culture, I mean how hard could it be.

Adam was now simply reborn, like larvae's that would wait seven years before it could be reborn as that of a Cicada, it was his turn to be that Cicada.

He was determined to change and have a good life and nothing could go in-between living one bloody peaceful life.
