Chapter 10: MISTAKE

" what are you going to do now?" Hazel asked as fear slowly start to crawl underneath her skin. This is insanely wrong and what she just did, was a mistake. she did not have control of her own body and it doesn't make sense. Every time this handsome devil gets near her ,she seem to lose her sane and her body does things on it's own.

Now that she let her body do what it wanted, she gets herself into trouble. looking at the guy, as he want to eat her whole. with those blue eyes of his like a true predator , he definitely want something that she can't give him. The only thing that her brain seem to function is the word LEAVE.

She reaches the door handle with her tremble hand to unlock the door while looking at his face.

" No need to be alerted, I won't do anything unless you want me to " Hudson took a couple steps back. He definitely didn't understand what had just happen between them. Whenever he was with this woman he seem to curve for her. who is she ? . She manage to open the forbidden door which was long closed. She manage to trigger the sleeping beast who have slept for years.

" can we talk?" Hudson asked when he finally remember what brought him at the club.

" No...I mean duty calls" Hazel tried her best to open the door with her tremble hand as she need to leave as soon as possible.

" I see...we can. Only at public area.....I need answers and you have them....I like to cut the chase....So....just follow me . And it will be quick" Hudson told her while touching the door handle which made Hazel to remove her hand and jump a little far. He glance at her and gesture to follow behind him with his hand and easily open the door and went out.

Leaving undecided Hazel, who has two thought occupied her mind. whether to follow him and get rid of him by shoo him away OR ignoring him and mind her already started duty. She sighed against her legs choice as it choose to follow behind him.

Hudson walks to the counter and pull himself a chair and order a drink. somehow he can sense her present behind him and made a note to ask her about her trueself, because this is not normal.

She sat aside from him . As nervous as she was, she found herself wanting to be there ,listening to what he says and abid to his words. She can't explain the argue weird feeling that crawl deep within her. which keeps telling her whole being what to do, how to act around him. And she hate this new feeling right now.

While sitted they simultaneously turned and face each other. Neither one say a word, just staring into each other's eyes. minutes passed and No one seems to break the staring contest like they were hypnotized by the beauty of one eyes. they started to move their hands simultaneously and holding each other, they intertwined their hands together without breaking eyes contact.If one may to look at them, he might say they're lovers who just found each other again after a long time.

The situation was getting worse as both started to feel a weird pull of attraction from the other. The pull was so strong as it shocked them both, they both wide their eyes at the realization of danger ahead of them , if they keep staying besides each other for long something unpredictable might happen. They tried to fight the pull by avoiding eye contact but it was a fragile attempt. The only thing that can save them is if someone interrupt them, they thought of this and nodded at that, weird as it is they seems to be contacted in one thought.

Suddenly someone dragged Hazel by the arm and this seems to break the spell. They snap out of the pull which was frightened for both of them. They were both panting and in shock of what is going on.

Hudson took his business card and put it beside Hazel without facing her and he left without saying anything. He was confused , this has never happened before Or is it the time of the year for that ridiculous transformation of that stupid mysterious letter.

When he was leaving he couldn't help as his mind took him back two years ago. When he returned home after celebrating his 26th birthday. After shower he decided to sleep that when he found this mysterious letter on his bed written by actual blood, written in foreign language and suprisingly he can read those words.

At first he thought it was a prank and burn the letter but when he woke up in the morning the letter was still there staring at him. He ignored it and continue with his daily activities but the letter seems to follow everywhere he goes.

When he was in his car the letter was glued to the window infornt, for him to see but when he asked his chauffeur to get rid of it. The chauffeur seem not to understand or even see the letter. And it was on that point he decided to just read the damn letter and know what it wants.

He never tell a soul on what happened to him that day as no one will believe him. Thus he hide the letter far away as the letter wants to be hidden until the transformation begins.

He doesn't want to believe the content of that letter but now he have to.

At the club when Hudson was leaving Hazel was still in daze, she was trying to process what was that. She was well aware of someone talking to her but her mind was far from understanding what that person was saying. She was frightened of him, she got to stay away from him. This happening because she starts to watch horror movies, she tells herself that she was hallucinating things and all of this was in her mind. Because nothing makes sense.

This started on that freaking day when they started that fucking game, if only she didn't love being challenged that much, she would have not have the courage to kiss a stranger. If only they didn't ruin that wedding, they would not have any reason to go to the damn club and they would never met those guys and she would never made that damn MISTAKE.
