Arthur Pendragon Bizarre Misadventures

The Hunter Elite Tactics Squad (HETS) is a government organisation established to maintain peace between the world. Hunting down ferocious barbarians, criminals, Scum Beasts, and many more. Arthur Pendragon, a prodigy graduate high school student, becomes one of the members of the organisation. They say Trainers have always had this knack of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Arthur Pendragon has had this universal trait cranked up to eleven. So much in fact that people are having a lot of trouble figuring out if he either causes or correlates with the chaos around him and, by proxy, everyone that meets him. The Only reason Arthur is doing this because he is tired of fighting the temptation to be a playboy. Who thought that raising a boy with multiple attractive, clingy, demanding, scary, amorous females would result in a well-adjusted young man?

Prologue

Arthur is going through hell.

The playground was on fire, and it wasn't his fault.

Okay, maybe it was. But, in his defence, Arthur was doing his best to stop a bunch of kids playing with matches on top of the slide. He didn't know that Janna would trip him, and the steel playground would be so flammable.

But because of that, for a total of two days, Arthur Pendragon was known as The Dragon of the Playdragon.

There five so don't judge them too bad.

His three tormentors wouldn't shut up about it. Why couldn't they be older and not be girls?

It was only for two days because on the third day, Arthur heard something leaking and accidentally caused a pipe to burst and flooded the ice cream factory that the class was visiting.

The kids tried to name him Ice Cream Ruiner but that name only stuck for one day when a herd of Rino-Buffalo came into town…

…by now, you're starting to get it, aren't you?

Arthur has either caused or just so happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. You would think that after certain events, kids would give him a new nickname along the lines of Pandemic-Art-ter or something kiddie-like. However, it seemed whoever tried to come up with a new name ended up suffering the most in the next unlikely event that Arthurs's presence triggered. So everyone in Camelot tended to go with the flow of whatever misfortune Arthur or his 'friends' caused. It gave the boy a normal but rather interesting, bully-free life. Then, when he turned three, his luck got weird.

However, despite his odd luck, Arthur Pendragon was and always will be a simple soul whose dream was to make everyone happy.

Reincarnation didn't change who was or cure his ADHD.

He couldn't wait until he was ten years old to start his epic journey to be the best there ever was.

Pretty sure that line is not trademark? Plus, who wouldn't want to say that like in a more awesome version of a Pokemon world?

However, nine-year-old Arthur had faced the greatest challenge in his life yet—probably ever.

Past life excluded. Also, dodging the affections of the very affectionate members of the opposite sex.

"… as of this moment, the age of legal trainers and hunters has been bumped up to 18 years of age. Trainers who received their license before this law must surrender their I.D. and wait until they are of age to regain—"

"N.O.O.O.O.O.!" The dark skin blonde-headed blue-eyed boy cried out in distress and misery after hearing the worldwide news from the television. He thought that when he turned ten, he would only have to wait a few more months in order to be able to get his first Monsuta and start on the epic journey he's been anticipating for almost all his life.

Well, since he was eight. But apparently, life had to get in the way and push his goal even further away just before he could start it.

"Arty, please be quiet, dear. You shouldn't disturb the neighbours." Alice Pendragon giggled as she saw her beloved son seem to reach a mid-life crisis while being a kid. It is a dark day when a nine-year-old realises how cruel the world can really be.

The blonde-haired boy turned towards his mother with tears in his eyes. "I was so close! My tenth birthday was one day from today, and then this happens!? It's not just mother!" Arthur pointed a righteous finger at the tv. "The government can't do this to us! To me! I Now I wait until I'm eighteen to get away from... them! They said would kiss me every single day when I turn 10." The boy panics.

"Life is about how you react to circumstances, Arty. You can still get one day, so don't lose hope yet."

Her kind, loving, and inspiring words really impacted the young blonde-haired boy's life at that moment.

"… I'm dooooooooooomed!" And then Arthur started wailing over and over, saying: "I'm doomed. And the girls would have my soul!" At least he tried to be quieter as he planted his face into the couch… or he might have lost the will to sit up and just let gravity do its thing… hard to say. But Alice did feel bad for her son. But...

He was just cute! It's really was his fault. Her baby refuses to treat others with anything less than kindness and respect unless they prove themselves unworthy of it. He is a clumsy (sometimes), awkward dork knight with dreams of making everyone he meets happy.

He once has a pet chicken he named: Cluck Cluck.

Arty still goes to the grave and places flowers! He still cries on the anniversary and denies saying that: "I'm just mourning!"

And don't get her started on Arty's view prejudice. Her baby doesn't understand them all. He can't understand racism, sexism, or why gay people want a parade (How can anyone be proud of those OUTFITS!)

He'd once got into an argument with gay men because of his and his own words exactly. "His fur... neck... thing?! (both her and gay has resisted to hug him with the confused puppy face) is an ugly neon green."

Arty was still friends with the guy when he explained that he was proud of the fur thing.

Then Arty gave a six out of 10 because the colour doesn't match his eyes.

Reincarnated or not. Arthur was still a nice nine-year-old boy... also, he was a very endearing, goofy, dorkable, hopeless romantic dude back on Earth.

Alice Pendragon had an idea while ignoring the running T.V. and her son's increasingly muffled and desperate wailings.

The Next Morning:

"Arty," Alice began with her usual smile as bright as the morning sun when she tried to wake up her son. "Happy Birthday! You're ten years old now!"

While Alice was a shining beacon of light, her son was in unspeakable gloom that seemed even to dim the sunlight.

The angsty boy covered himself with his blanket and turned away from the window of his room. "My life is despair. So leave me, mother. I'm not 18 yet..."

Alice rolled her blue eyes. "Yet you act like an overly dramatic teenager already..." She whispered before huffing up and putting her hands on her hips. "Arthur Pendragon, get up! Or I will call your half-sisters to wake you up!"

Arthur knew better than resisting his mother's word and groaned as the light burned his skin like a vampire.

What?

He sticks with that thermology.

"It's your tenth birthday, and I want you to get dressed. We're going to your father's lab."

That seemed to instantly snap Arthur out of his stupor as he got up. "W-What!? We're going to H.E.T.S. Camelot H.Q.?"

"Better you're going to a boarding school!" The mother said to her son.

"With all of your friends," Alice added.

"Runaway!" The boy declared before running out the door.

After a few hours and begging and failed attempts at running away. Arthur Pendragon has finally reached the (HETS) H.Q. for Camelot. His mother was there to greet him.

Alice smiled and took pictures of her son covered in lipstick.

The blonde boy's response was less than pleased. Why give children stupid lipstick... And don't make it candy flavoured!

When Alice knocked on the door, His father, Grand Master Xiaolin Dragon, Gallo Pendragon, answered and returned the smile. "Ah, My love! My son! I've been expecting both of you. Come in! Come in!" He said as he motioned the two inside his lab. "Which one kissed him this time?" He whispered to his wife.

"All of them," Alice replied.

No longer able to hold it in anymore, Arthur half asked, half blurted out, "Dad?! Why am I here? To get a Monsuta!? Also... Stop making plans about getting grandchildren, mother!!"

"Never!" Alice boomed.

"No, no. and, yeah, no, your other mothers also say no." The renowned man said kindly with a laugh. However, before Arthur could look disappointed again, he continued. "Your mother asked if I could use an assistant."

"Assistant?!" Arthur looked at his mother, who only smiled. So this was his birthday present? His old man was cool and all, but to be his assistant? Why did his mom think that would be a good idea?

"I thought this was prison? Also boring!"

Fun fact. Isekais got it wrong were the hormones and the emotions of children.

Arthur has the body, mind, and emotions of a nine-year-old, so he is easily thrown off from his old self. He'd routinely find himself playing some childish game or crying about something dumb, only to come back and wonder why the heck he was doing it! But like his old self, he got over it.

He is both Arthur Mercer from Earth and Arthur Pendragon From Earth... which is filled with supernatural monsters and Pokemon/Digimon like monsters.

"Well, my homie." Gallo disregarded the loud groan from his son. "This might be a great idea for you, son." His old man was either very good at reading people or was really like messing with him; either way, he elaborated more as the three of them entered into his office. "I was told that like my intern, My wonderful pimp of a son was also feeling down at his chance at being a trainer moved farther than he expected."

"I'm not a pimp!"

His old man laughed at the thought before solemn realisation was on his face. "Yet Sebastian was going to drive a car out town when he got his first Monsuta."

Arthur raised his brow since he knew who the unhip dude was walking about. "Sebastian, the trap can drive a car?"

"Now, Arthur, just because you're not really sure he's a dude doesn't mean you can call him a trap," Gallo said with a way of his finger. Arthur just waved his father off.

Gallo motioned his family to sit down among the couches. After they did so, the Grand Master Xiaolin Dragon cleared his throat. "Now, Son, the reason why I need an assistant is that your luck is starting to attract attention, and we need up and up to deal with the aftermath. Plus, it would be nice to get an extra pair of hands helping around the building and teaching a few things here and there."

The young blonde-haired boy couldn't help but frown. All his hopes were up for some kind of loophole to get him to start being a trainer and get away from the crazy girls, but instead to find out he was working here? In this prison? He knows he isn't always the most behaved son, but why was his mom doing this form of punishment?

Gallo continued to talk. "And I'm sure I have a Gacha Machine for you if you choose to go to school here."

This would be the time where Arthur Pendragon and Arthur Mercer swear by the gods they hear the sound of a record being abruptly scratched.

"Gacha Machine?" The boy repeated with sudden interest.

The old trainer nodded before continuing. "Why yes... There are also many Monsuta at my school for either research, combat simulations, or storage of older trainers that still travel around. I'm mostly alone with them, so having a new helping hand would benefit them and me greatly." Gallo closed his eyes but slyly opened one of them to peek at an exceptionally focused son.

"If you joined, you could get to interact with many Mons for the next nine years until you start our proper journey."

Arthur stood up with stars practically in his eyes. "Really!? I get to have one!?"

Gallo nodded with a relatively calm smile. "Yes, you can. So what do you say? Would you like to be my assistant? Would you like to join HETS?"

"YES!" Arthur didn't waste a second before looking around. "I am most appreciative of your kind offer, good sir. Now I'm off!"

The parents shared a laugh before standing up as well. Arthur was led towards the back where His father opened the door, and outside was a place that was filled with many different Mons as far as the eye could see. Also, impossible habits.

"Arty?"

The reincarnated boy was brought back to reality hard when he heard that familiar and partially egotistic voice. He turned his head, and against his wishes, he saw Sebastian Black standing nearby holding a rake and wearing his usual trap outfit.

Sebastian Black is a boy? With an androgynous appearance and was even viewed as being beautiful by most of the guys in class. He had long black hair, pale skin and large, dark-brown eyes, and a slender frame. Draped around their body is a pink, sleeveless kimono, with pale red edges and decorated with small plum-coloured swirls that went to their ankles. Around their waist was a simple white obi tied in a bow and a pair of light brown sandals with dark straps. They also wore a dark-coloured choker around their neck.

For some reason, Arthur doesn't understand why the dude wears lipstick.

"What are you doing here?" The trap seemed to eye the blonde boy with caution.

The boy pointed back to him with equal or more obvious disdain. "I should be asking you that!?"

Before the two could butt heads, Gallo cleared his throat to get their attention. "Behave you two; you'll both be working together. You can make out later..." Gallo said playfully.

"WHAT!?" The two boys shouted simultaneously before pointing to the other, "I have to work with him!?"

Beat:

"E.W.W.W.W.W.W.!" The boys harmonise again. Though Sebastian's face does have a tint of red on it.

The father of elven remained sagely and calm despite the obvious synchronisation of the two 'boys.' "You were all disappointed when the age limit was bumped up before the beginning of your journeys. And taking care of Mons now was the closest thing you could do to help pass that time. So I will teach you all that I can about Mon, and that in turn can help you all have a head start when your journey can begin."

The two were disgruntled at the fact they had to work with each other, but they both knew that working with Booms was more worth than stomaching their rival—wait a second.

"I like your hair today, dude. It's nice," Arthur said to his rival. Then he blinked. Then repeated what the Grand Master just said in his brain. He raised his brow when he recalled that the infamous Grand Master said a word that didn't make sense. "All?"

Sebastian was too busy trying to 'his' blush from Arthur.

"The girls that you rescued helped, befriended, and made them fall in love with you most at the age of five?"

When Arthur was five, his father took him around the world for important research data. Unfortunately, in the process, Arthur's luck brought him to the wrong place at the wrong time.

After a year of this, the girls tracked him down moved into Camelot.

Some are princesses, knights, witches, ghosts, demi-humans, dwarves, etc...

Arthur doesn't regret saving them. Instead, he regrets that he can't get balls to yell at them... Or get them to leave him alone for a day. There is so much

Well, in a mean way.

"Arthy!" The howls of over 100 girls strong tackle the boy to the ground.

(Aah… youth.) Both parents thought inside their heads.

After a few minutes, Gallo got tired and a little jealous and decided to help his son out.

"Alright, alright. Settle down, everyone. Now, I'm sure everyone is briefed. Correct?"

"Yeah!"

Arthur doesn't speak because some of the girls are giving him kisses on his cheeks.

Alice leaves the government felicity. "Good luck, girls and my wonderful son."

"Thank you, mother!"

"For the last time! Stop calling her that!" Arthur asked them. "Also, stop kissin' me alright!"

And just like that, nine years passed by. The 130 kids practically had a secondary school with Gallo Pendragon, focusing more on Mon than anything else. It was much like going on a journey without having to leave the H.E.T.S. Then, because of his connections, he brought in nurses, ninja, gunslingers, and everything that could be learned. They learned it.

There were even days where Arthur's abysmal luck had brought secluded adventures in the H.E.T.S.

From monster civil wars, meteors showers, B movie-style monsters, alien invasions, mad scientists, poachers, man-eating worms, and fights between the girls on who is the main the wife.

It got weird; it got crazy, and it was awesome.

However, all four kids were now 18 years of age and over and waiting for Gallo Pendragon to give them official starter Mons.

Well, Arthur, Sebastian, Calypso, Mora, and Leni are waiting.

The rest already went off.

Arthur tilted his head as he stared at a very intricate machine, or rather… what was on it: an Egg. Four of them, to be exact. The young boy checked the instruments of the machine, but the signs showed that it was just still inactive, pretty much the same as it had been ten years since he'd seen it.

It was supposed to have a rare Dragon Monsuta Mon that could actually sense emotions, but the egg had shown no signs of hatching. However, Arthur couldn't help but feel a sense of pity towards the egg. He didn't know why, but ever since it came, he had done nothing but talked to it as if it was already awake, treating it as he would his friends.

Pretty sad.

Well, a good friend anyway. His 'harem' he was 'studying' with were… different. Sebastian (who loving even more like a girl now, even with the short hair) outright called him a dumbass for talking to Eggs and that he was wasting his time; His harem thought it was funny and cute.

Arthur wasn't sure they believed him.

"Well, bye, guys. I hope you guys hatch when I'm gone."

With that, Arthur left the building ready to graduate from prison already.

He stopped when the eggs glowed.

Soon a Spider Dragon, Sea Dragon, Fire Dragon, and an Earth Dragon were born.

August 20, 2021

Arthur Pendragon stared at the scene in front of him.

Calypso, Mora, and his older sister Leni were waiting for him at Gate to leave Camelot.

"Ready to leave, Arty!" Leni greeted her little brother.

You know what? Arthur is in a good mood. A really good mood.

Arthur turned back towards the gate, excitement building up as he was soon to pass by the sign that said, Welcome To Camelot!

"This is it, my dragons!" Arthur said, the hatch dragons that are riding his shoulders. With one in the air and one walking on the ground. "We start our adventure here! Are you ready!? We also have these girls to accompany us."

"Are they your mates, Master?" So said the black dragon that was flying in the air.

The girls gaped in shock at the speaking Mon.

Arthur's first step out of his town, his first step to his epic journey he's been anticipating ever since he was young, was finally taken—and then halted at practically the same time as the young man turned around towards the small spider dragon disbelief.

"Did you… just… say something?"

The Spider Dragon seemed surprised and tilted his head. "Uh, yes? Is something wrong, Master?"

Arthur tilted his head.

"Guys? could .... could they always speak?" He asked out loud.
