"Let me clean up these things first," Beth smiled happily with Eva's affirmation, She motioned her to take the box upstairs, then jumped happily beside her as they returned to the room, she stood on the ground with an indescribable feeling, She didn't know what to say, Fear began to grip her heart, and she felt suffocated, She didn't even notice that she had stopped breathing.
"Eva? What's wrong?" John asked her, seeing her flushed face, He lifted her chin as she gasped, filling her lungs with air, "Why are you holding your breath? Are you crazy?" he scolded her, even as he hugged her tightly in worry.
"I'm not crazy," she retorted, hoping to console him a little, she who looked at them just sighed helplessly before leaving, "What's upsetting you? You said you were going to the mall, and now you're like this," he spoke, pushing her slightly so he could see her eyes, "Don't do it again," he said as he led her back into the house.
