Pulchritudinous

I had just finished my Math class and i was ecstatic, because i had gotten full marks and i couldn't wait to tell my mum about it , so i silently prayed in my mind that she would be home so that i would be able to tell her.

Still pleading in my mind  i was walking straight to my locker to get my English books for my next class when i saw him. The new kid, Jason Riley , he was about 6'2, with broad shoulders and blonde hair, he was a sight to be seen.

He had put on a short sleeved shirt which showed the bulging of his muscles from underneath.

There really was a reason why everyone was talking about him throughout the school , because his looks were to die for.

I felt  he knew i was looking at him because he turned and started walking towards me with long strides, before finally coming to a stop right in front of me and greeting with a "Hello" and i replied with a "Hi."

" By any chance, do you know where the English class is," he asked while brushing his blonde locks back with his fingers, preventing it from covering his eyes.

"Yes, that's Mr Donald' class , just take the first left you see then walk straight you would see a massive (English year 12 )sign written on the door  ," I replied.

"Could you take me there, i don't do well with directions ?" He asked pleadingly.

"Okay ," i agreed, questioning myself on why he would ask me for help , did i do something out of the ordinary today.

I started walking, with him following close behind till we finally made it to the class, right at the nick of time just before the bell rang.

Most of the seats were taken so we went to the middle row (most people prefer back or front rows) and took a seat, but i couldn't help noticing the glares i was receiving even though i didn't know why.

I was trying to get work done when he tapped me and asked for ,my name and i said Elise and from then on we started asking each other questions, that by the end of the class i already had his digits.

School just finished and i felt like i needed some exercise so i ditched the bus and started walking, at about halfway through my journey, i had a call and it was from Jason, so i accepted. 

"Hi Elise, would you like to give me a tour round the town since i'm new ?" He asked.

"Well, okay," i replied after a couple seconds of hesitation.

"Thank-you, bye," he said.

"Goodbye and you're welcome," i responded before he cut the call and i put of my phone while putting it in my bag.

Picking out what to wear for our outing (totally not a date) is a total hassle .

Skirts were a no-no because it was windy, jeans were not working either and i don't think he would appreciate me coming in a hoodie and joggers with my trusty flip-flops on my feet, so i settled on black leggings with a purple t shirt before packing my hair into a ponytail. I had already given Jason my address so he could pick me up.

Checking the time on my phone i saw that i had about 30 minutes before it was time for him to pick me up so i went on Netflix and continued watching trinkets from where i had stopped yesterday.

I had just finished the episode when i heard the door bell ring, i ran upstairs telling my younger sister Amara that if my parents come she should tell them i went out with a friend in which she replied with a half hearted 'okay.'

I ran down the stairs straight to the door and then opened it.  Jason and I said our 'hi's' before we entered his car.

First we went to the park because that was my second favorite place in the town, right after the library.

I found out he was a dog lover, because when we first got there we saw a dog and he started playing with it. So I left and sat on a bench, which was already occupied by a girl who was reading a book by one of my favorite authors. She was reading the prince from the selection series. Then i told her that the best one was the crown and from there we hit it off. At about ten minutes later  i told her goodbye and went looking for Jason who i found still playing with the dog.

We then went to the mall before we finally went to the food court and had cokes and fries with crispy chicken before going to the bookshop, where i bought 'red queen' and 'the billionaire's best woman' by Claire Adams and  Victoria Averyard.(i think i got the spelling of the surname wrong for  the Victoria one and the Victoria one is red queen).

Jason took me home after that and then we said our goodbyes , both eagerly waiting for Monday to meet again , which surprised me because i hate Monday and i hate school even more.

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME.
