Ch–52 Back to Argenti Pt-2

The cart picked up speed, which made Rosa almost slide out. She reached over and grabbed hold of one of the boxes. She quickly pulled her legs in and settled on the cart. Her hands were still on the box to keep herself in balance.

“Hey old man what are you doing?” she screamed at him without fear.

“I don’t have time all day to get you in a joy ride boy. Sit tight, or you will be thrown behind.” He screamed speeding it up more.

Rosa felt her hood would fly out. She grabbed on the box like a pillow and pulled herself closer to it.

‘Crazy old man.’ She thought while desperately trying to keep herself in.

The boxes in the cart also moved. They would have flown out of the cart if the rope did not keep them down. The cart moved faster and faster until they reached the destination.

It skidded to a halt in front of a workshop. Rosa felt a jerk on her back she slipped and banged her head on the wood. The man quickly jumped down and screamed at her.
