The Contract

"Tell me Alana, which of your daughters did you send to earth?" Remus asked.

"My last child, Na…." She held her tongue when she wanted to call her earthly name.

"It's Naia my last child." She answered with her head raised proudly.

Remus nodded his head at that, he looked around before getting up, "I think I will take my leave now. I need to get something done before the next summoning." He said, then walked out of the room.

The ones remaining didn't say anything to each other until they left one by one, leaving just Glinda and Eldric in the room.

Glinda sighed then leaned forward, "How have you been, Ric?" She asked, calling him by his nickname. Though they were not together, but they were friends.

"I'm fine Glinda." He answered curtly, his eyes were around everywhere in the room but hers. He didn't hate her or her presence, but he wasn't just comfortable sitting next to her…alone.
