After the burning action that the White Princess set for tribes that wronged Draco in the past, their relationship becomes better as the White Princess doesn't talk about her solidification to Draco again.
Instead, they talk about their respective past while sitting under the sunset and the burning village that burns brightly under their witness, as the melody of their screams and blood splattered like a symphony of music in their ears.
Whether it is Arcueid or Draco, they are unapologetic about their actions against those villagers in tribe, as they were the ones who started it first. They believed in the mindset of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
"Your mother sounds like someone with something wrong in the head, Draco."
"Same as you, Princess. Same as you. Your father's delusions of grandeur are equally as my mother's megalomaniac plans. They were a combination of insanity and delusion indeed."
They chuckled as they ridiculed each other while sharing the history of their bitchy parents.
Draco's mother forced her daughter to become her doll and tool for her ascension to fame herself as the mother of the emperor. Even goes as far poisoned her daughter to control her.
On the other hand, Arcueid's father planned to take over her body and disregarded any of her wishes, which was enough to explain their bad parenting problem.
It was because of this that they were set apart from normal.
For the sake of her power, Agripinna, Draco's mother, even went as far as to create poison for Draco in the past, since childhood, and buried the antidote in her stomach until her dying day.
So, the reason why Draco has a screw loose in her head is because of this. Since her birth, she has always been controlled by her mother, or she would die if she refused.
Although in the early days, her mother used soft methods, but the more her daughter's authority grew, the more paranoid she became.
Then, it was the day she came up with the plan to poison Nero little by little and then control her. Even after she died, she refused to tell her daughter the antidote for the poison.
The same is true for Arcueid. The first scene she faced when reincarnated was not the God or kindred parent, but instead a conspiracy of her father wanting to use her for her own benefit, accompanied by a messed-up mentor like Zelretch with a screw loose in his head.
Her mother, too, was like an AI program rather than a figure of a mother.
It couldn't be denied that probably before she was reincarnated into this world, she was a fucked up person in the first place.
That's why God or ROB or Goddess reincarnated her into this fucked up world with a fucked up setting.
"So... Why do you insist on making me your subordinate and gathering all the Dead Apostle Ancestors on the Moon?" Draco asked.
"Do you want to hear the truth or hypocrisy?"
"The bloody truth," Draco replied.
"There's nothing grand about it. I just want to spit in my father's face—her efforts, kingdom, and her very existence. For that, I need all that she has," Arcueid answered.
"All of that just because you want to spit in her face?"
"All of it," Arcueid firmly replied.
"You are more twisted than I thought, Princess," Draco laughed maniacally after hearing Arcueid's reason and goal for wanting to unite her clan. It wasn't for world domination or power, but vengeance against her own father.
"Likewise, Nero. Likewise," Arcueid chuckled darkly.
"Congratulations, Princess. You have gained my support. Your will is my command," Draco stood up from the ground, elegantly pulling up her skirt and bowing her head to the princess.
"I like you already. So, what is your first command?"
"We conquer the North, destroy Rome, then launch a crusade against the church. But first, shall we go home?" Arcueid briefly outlined her plan, although it was based more on whim than a well-executed plan, it was still a plan.
"UmU... It sounds like a good plan indeed," Draco grinned at the thought of destroying the church.
"But... Are you sure you want to make enemies out of Alaya for the church, Princess?"
Draco's face turned serious when she mentioned Alaya. She understood that making enemies of the church was equivalent to making enemies of Alaya, the embodiment of the collective will of humanity.
"Alaya will not let an uncontrollable existence like me exist for too long. Moreover, she hated my mother and my father equally, so it's now or never, Nero," Arcueid stated.
"She likes to proclaim herself as the only God and think of others as evil gods, right? Then we will make humans think of her as one as well."
"Make her an evil god, then let the world see her cruelty and true face."
"For that, we need the cooperation of all the gods, humans, and all races that exist in this world to launch a crusade against her and her heretic armies."
"Even at the cost of burning the world, so be it."
"I'm very sure that's not your true purpose. Is Alaya included in your plan because it has to do with your vengeance, Princess?" Draco didn't buy the bullshit.
She knew that the Princess didn't have hatred for Alaya. Alaya brought into topic because she wanted to win her, however, it couldn't be denied that Alaya was just a stepping stone in her goal.
"Like I said from the beginning, I just want to spit in her face."
"I want the world to see that she is worthless. She is not as scary as they make her out to be."
"Her grand plan, which was supposed to make mortals fear her, is only incompetent and worthless in front of her puppet daughter."
"What she couldn't do, I did. That's what makes her worthless."
"The world that she wanted to conquer is only a stepping stone for her puppet daughter."
"All her followers, who were supposed to admire her, either have forgotten her deeds or are dead."
"All of her enemies are as worthless as her in front of her puppet daughter."
"When she arrived in this world, it's not the Crimson Moon that they will know, but a clown."
"That's the bloody truth, Draco. I just want to have my revenge, nothing more, nothing less."
"So... Are you sure, you still follow me despite the truth?" Arcueid sighed.
"Do you know what I like most, Princess? It's art. And revenge is one of them." Draco chuckled.
"So... When we started?"
