CHAPTER 2- SUNFLOWER

In night,Lesan was soundly resting in his bed when he sensed something;When he opened his eyes, he noticed two mask men with large blades standing next to his bed.Then his eyes opened, and he realised he was dreaming.When he was having breakfast in the morning, his father, Mr Matins, who was the manager of the Jackal company, which made energy drinks, asked him, "How are your studies going?"

"Good" He said.

"You both need something else" Mrs.Matins asked them.

"No, I am leaving for office I am getting late, see you"He got out of his chair, straightened his tie, and went to work.

"Finish your meal, dear; you have to go to school as well"Mrs.Matins said.

"Yes mom"Then the house's doorbell rang.

"Coming"Mrs Matins said as she walked up to the door.She opened the door "Good morning aunty"It was Lina.

"Good morning dear, ready for school"

"Is Lesan ready?"

"Yes, he'll be here shortly once he finishes his breakfast"Mrs.Matins said. Lesan left his half-toasted sandwich on the plate, picked up his bag from the table and walked up to them.

"Did you finish your breakfast, Lesan?"

"Yes mom, bye"

"Bye, enjoy"

In the stairwell, "You must complete your breakfast"Lina said.

"And I did"He said.

"Really"

"We should also provide food for the birds"

"You're hopeless"

"Maybe"They both reached the ground floor, someone was shifting there.Mr.Telion, the society's chair, and Miss Saly, the secretary of the society, were also there.

"Good morning Miss Saly" Lina said.

But Miss Saly was immersed in some deep thought.

"What's going on here, Mr Telion?" Lesan asked Mr. Telion.

"Ohh.. Lesan a family will be relocating here,Miss Saly was telling that this family has paid a good price for that flat to Miss Saly, I wish they could buy my second flat.

"Ohh.. okay"

"Hey good morning guys" It was Dan, "What's going on here" he continued.

"A new family is coming to live in our society"Lina said.

"I wish they didn't have any pet"Lesan and Lina burst out laughing when they heard this.It was because a few months ago Dan had put his feet on the ears of Miss Glatin's favorite rabbit who lived in that flat before, as a result, the rabbit began nibbling on one of his legs, and Dan concluded that the rabbit liked keeping his feet in the bunnies' ears and he did it until Miss Glatin's cry reverberated across society.Just then, a really nice automobile came to a halt a short distance away.

"Those people arrived" Miss Saly said with a beautiful smile.A stunning family emerged from the vehicle, each with a distinct light on their faces.

There was only a couple in that family, and they had a daughter.Miss Saly dashed over to them and began conversing with the family, particularly that male.Lesan, on the other hand, was just staring at that girl, who had pale blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Fff...it's a good thing they don't have any pets"Dan said happily.

"Bad luck Dan they have"Lina said, the girl removed a cage from the car, which contained a white cat.

"Ohh.. no" Dan said.

"You just need to be a little careful" Lesan said.

"Yea" Dan said in a lazy voice.

"Let's go guys we are getting late" Lina said. But Lesan didn't want to leave, he just wanted to see the girl standing there.After reaching school, Lesan and Lina went to their class and dan went to his class.

"Good morning students"It was their class teacher Mrs Linda, she had very long hair which she used to take care of a lot.

" Today I would like to introduce you all a new classmate, dear please come inside the classroom"she said with a smile.

A girl came in with her head bowed, she was very beautiful.

"This is the same girl we saw in the morning" Lina said but Lesan didn't say anything, he was just looking at that girl.

"She is Angelina Godson, so everyone be nice to her, dear go choose your seat" Mrs Linda said.

Lesan put his bag on the floor so that Angelina could sit on his bench and that's what happened, Angelina came and sat there.She smelled so good.

"Hi... I'm Lesan.. Lesan Matins" his voice was trembling.

"Hi I'm Angelina godson"she said with a smile, her voice startled him.

"And I'm Lina Lina Rogers"

"Nice to meet you guys" she said.

"How sweet" Lesan whispered.

"Thanks" Angelina said.

"But.. why" Lesan asked her.

"For calling me sweet"

Lesan didn't say anything again, and wondered if he had said so loudly.

"So, classmates, today we're going to do some gardening to raise awareness of nature, so form a line and slowly exit the classroom, making no noise" Mrs. Linda said.

Miss Linda stood in the middle of all the students as they entered the school garden and, "Now all the children will wear their gloves and remove the wasted flowers from the garden, understand"

"Yes ma'am"all said together. All the students started wearing their gloves, Lesan was wearing his gloves in reverse because his attention was elsewhere.

"Gloves are upside down" Lina said.

"What ohh.. Because of the colour, I didn't get it"

"At least don't look at her while wearing gloves"

Lesan quickly straightened his gloves and started following Angelina,that's when Lina called Lesan to her side and, "Help me cut these sunflowers" she said.

"Okay"He could not refuse her, after cutting the sunflower, Lesan started looking here and there.

Lina knew that he was looking for Angelina.She also looked around when she saw her, Angelina leaned against a white rose which was completely withered.Angelina placed her hand on the rose, something happened that Lina couldn't believe;the rose bloomed again.She looked at the rose again, it was blooming and Angelina was smiling looking at it.

"There she is" Lesan said and started walking towards her.

"Lesan"Lina tried to stop him but Lesan had reached Angelina.
