Summary of Events in Overlord Arc (III)

Well while I was thinking of what option to use to get rid of Roble Holy Kingdom. I was also focusing my resources on developing my territory. I was able to get dwarves and lizardmen to get working on the water systems and sewage systems.

The population of the new city which is now called Mistwall is growing better than I expected it just passed the hit mark of 5,000.

Now it was just a matter of see and wait.

Meanwhile, I also sent Demiurge and Pandoras Actor into the Holy kingdom. I was thinking of either using the good old "it's the demon lord, help" act or Just simply threatening the upper echelons of the Kingdom to get them to submit.

Nah. Let's just do it the good old way. Demiurge will find some weak-willed idiot nobles and turn them to our side then we will use them to get close to the Holy Queen Calca Bessarez and I will use the corruption on her.

(Now we will jump few months ahead.)

Well, color me surprised it seems that the corruption magic wasn't needed on the queen the Southern Nobles were causing Troubles for many years now. So when I essentially gave her a way to clean the house she was happy to pay me back.

Well, it will take few years before we will be able to get rid of the racism inside that nation.

Now it was time to turn my eyes on the Slane Theocracy. I finally had enough troops from within my citizens(territory population reached 55,000) and people given to me by other nations.

We now had 20,000 Soldiers (Enhanced. For reference see Chapter 17 and for explanation look to chapter 18.), 5,000 Healers, 4,000 Mages, 10,000 Archers, 5,000 Heavy Archers, 8,000 Knights, 4,000 Heavy Knights, 3,000 Assasins, 3,000 Thieves, 1,000 Dragon Riders. Plus shadow summons and mobs from the tomb of Nazarick.

I had done my shadow Armor and took my scythe when we finished planning strategies. We would attack swift and hard. While they had a number advantage we had greater strength especially when you add to the battlefield me, Cocytus, Aura, Mare, and the summons from Nazarick.

After that was done we started assembling the army in secret at the borders of Slane Theocracy.

After few days it was time to attack.

After we were at least halfway through the territory we started feeling more resistance from the enemy army than before maybe they finally got it inside their skulls that we were not playing around.

I met some crazy bitch on the battlefield don't really know how to describe her she after few minutes of fighting she started spouting something about getting my seed. Anyway, she was stronger and more resilient than I thought she would be so I didn't kill her.

We are finally closing on the capital. I wanna see if they capitulate or they will fight to the last breath. It would be surprising If they could swallow their pride and submit.

Well, they didn't capitulate nor did they fight to the last breath the citizens just overthrow them and presented them to us for sparing their lives. It seems they weren't very good at running the country.

Well now I just need to declare the start of my Empire and establish firm control on the continent after that I will most likely build warships and send scouts across the sea to see if there is anything else.

Who would have thought that we would rise from just an underground tomb to a Huge Empire?
