Sudden Pregnancy

I swung open the cottage door, only to be met with a sudden declaration that left me as stunned as the rest of my party members.

"Hello, I'm Garcia Felix. I will be part of this party now since Gideon made me pregnant! Nice to meet you all," said the woman with red hair and blue eyes, greeting everyone in the cottage.

What the heck was happening!?

"What the hell, Gideon!? Is that true?" Matthias was the first to react, looking surprisingly composed after the recent mini-game, in his pajamas.

I entered the room and closed the door, glancing at Gideon, who lowered his head in shame. "I'm sorry, everyone. I will be responsible for it!"

"Seriously!? Are you sure that baby is yours?" Matthias asked again, making the red-haired woman look offended.

"Hei, kiddo! Of course, it's his child!" she said, brushing her flat stomach.

Garcia wore a black bra with a red sleeveless leather jacket, black shorts, and high boots. She didn't look pregnant at all.

She then hugged Gideon and said, "I'm only doing it with him! Right, honey?"

Gideon covered his head, hiding his reddish cheeks, and nodded.

"How are you so sure that you're pregnant?" I asked curiously. Did they actually do it before the apocalypse or something?

"Well, we did it half a day, so..." the woman shrugged.

Gideon cleared his throat and said, "She is right. Maybe she is not pregnant now, but she will be, and I will be responsible for it." He looked ready to be a father, for some reason.

Why did something bizarre keep happening in front of me today? I died and then I was revived by something more stronger than God, having a power up and now watching this kind of drama unfold in front of me?

But still, having sex in a day?

"So, you decided to have sex just a day? Today? During the mini-game?" I asked with a more specific question.

After what went down in my first mini-game, I won't judge anyone for seeking some comfort in the midst of it. I mean, everyone has needs, right? Even when those needs might end up getting them killed.

But she wouldn't just be pregnant from that, would she? Why would Gideon be taking responsibility for it?

Oh well, let's just leave this question to the adult in the room. I didn't mind adding more members to the party, I will still end up playing solo anyway.

"No, not during the mini-game, after the mini-game," Gideon clarified.

"Wait, you just met and had sex!? In this kind of apocalyptic world!? Are you guys insane!" Matthias protested, looking genuinely shocked.

I won't blame him; we're still in high school, and the thought processes of adults and their priorities sure seem weird.

"Of course, just look at me. Don't you want to have sex with me looking like all of this?" Garcia flaunted her body, with her cup D boobs, nice ass, and a great waist. She had a point.

"And of course, look at how hot my wanna-be husband is; no one could resist it," she said while moving her fingers, trailing down Gideon's hard chest muscle.

But Matthias didn't seem to have it. I wondered why. Having a woman member in the party seemed alright as long as she didn't cause any problems and become a burden.

"Hmph! What's your class then? Don't tell me you're a healer or something?" Matthias said sarcastically while crossing his arms.

Ah, I see. He probably believed that women players in the game were subpar. He forgot that this was the real world, not a game.

Garcia smirked and walked toward him slowly, cracking her knuckles with a menacing aura, making Matthias step back.

She grabbed his shoulder with her left arm while her right arm materialized gauntlet, "I'm a Martial Artist Class, have a problem with that?" with a smirk.

Matthias tensed and said, "No! Of course I don't! Welcome to my party!" he forced a smile, making me chuckle.

Seeing him in trouble like this was fun because he always flexed and was annoying sometimes. Finally, he found someone who could humble him.

"Oh, I see, you must be the leader Matthias," Garcia said, extending her hand toward him. Matthias, with an awkward smile, shook hands with her.

Garcia's eyes darted around the room before meeting mine. "And you must be Seth. I've heard a bit about you guys from Gideon."

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, nice to meet you, Garcia."

"Great then! Why don't you show me your room, Gideon; it will be ours anyway!" She said, pulling Gideon, and the only thing he could do was nod.

"I'm sorry, everyone," he said before leaving the two of us alone.

"Well, it seems Jayden will be in our room starting today," I said, looking around the room and trying to find Jayden, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Ah, Jayden is not back yet," Matthias sighed; he seemed relaxed now.

But then a moment later, he looked like he remembered something and looked at me with that annoyed look, "You! Why are you leaving me like that?" he protested.

Ah, it must be when I left him with the flying dinosaur. "I didn't have a choice, you know that, right?"

I walked toward the bathroom, leaving him behind while he said, "Why does no one respect me? I'm the leader of this party!"

"Well, maybe it's because you suck," I said while chuckling and entered the bathroom, closing the door didn't want to hear another yapping from Matthias.

After that, I enjoyed a long, warm bath and even sank myself into the bathtub. It was a really nice bath after a long day, and all the tiredness in my body disappeared.

Even when the psychological impact of today's event still lingers in my mind. I couldn't believe that everything that happened to me just happened in a day.

Like a day!

As I gazed at the ceiling in front of me, I pondered what I would do tomorrow. I wasn't eager to participate in mini-games, but the skill points obtained from them were essential.

Hunting down monsters and boss monster were fun, especially when I could get special rewards. It was worth the effort of defeating all the monsters in the area.

However, my curiosity leaned toward the special rewards for Player Killing. I wondered what kind of rewards awaited me.

Although killing players appeared more challenging than monsters, the Architect's ability to devour and transfer their skills and expertise was intriguing.

Considering I could summon a powerful character, why not divide the work? Participate in mini-games during the day and engage in Player Killing at night while my summoned being tackled the monsters.

That settled it!
