Collecting Evidence

This was similar to a pie falling from the sky for her. She immediately followed the instructions and typed the GPS locations of the Bai house as well as the little apartment that Su Hu had bought a few days ago. 

Once she was done, Bai Meiyue let the flies fly out of her apartment. 

Seeing that the flies left without a hitch, Bai Meiyue heaved a sigh of relief. She was no longer as stressed as she was before, her entire body and mind relaxed at the thought that the evidence would soon be in her hands. 

"Baby, don't worry. Those who have wronged us, Mommy will make them pay bit by bit," Bai Meiyue caressed Little Cai Cai who was growing in her belly. In the past, she was like a street rat without a penny in her pockets. She had to fight zombies and look for resources every day. 

While Bai Xue and her shameless father along with his mistress and son lived a happy life in the mansion that she purchased with her own hard-earned money. 

Those comforts should have belonged to her and Cai Cai —as well as her mother and two older brothers. 

When Bai Meiyue remembered her mother, her eyes started to sting. 

Now that she was back, Bai Meiyue realised that her mother was still alive and not lost in the tsunami that happened at the end of the world. She still had the time to save her mother and her two brothers. 

Back then, the world went into chaos way too quickly. The entire city was enveloped in water, the only reason Bai Meiyue was able to survive was because she awakened as a supernatural being who could control water. 

But her mother and big brothers—they were not as lucky as her. 

Who knows how they died after the doomsday began? 

Bai Meiyue felt her stomach growl. She looked at the time and noticed that it was indeed lunchtime, now that she was back Bai Meiyue had no desire to treat herself badly. 

Not to mention she was now pregnant. She couldn't treat herself carelessly anymore. Back then, because she was not aware that she was pregnant, Bai Meiyue had not taken care of her nutrition, which led to her son being born underweight. Bai Meiyue would never repeat such mistakes.

She got to her feet and walked over to the kitchen before taking out a few eggs and pork knuckles that were kept in the refrigerator. 

Bai Meiyue prepared a bowl of egg drop soup and braised pork knuckles for herself along with a giant bowl of rice. 

Once she was done preparing her lunch, she sat down and began eating. As she was halfway through her meal, she felt her phone buzz. 

The Dual Flies monitors have landed. 

Bai Meiyue abandoned her bowl of rice and picked up the phone that was resting on the aisle of the kitchen. She tapped on the notification and saw the two videos playing side by side. 

The first box was showing Su Hu and Bai Xue along with Jiang Ziming while the other one was showing Bai Qingshi and Chu Xia. 

The image was clear and so were the voices. 

Bai Meiyue pondered before tapping on the box that was showing Su Hu and Bai Xue. 

As soon as she tapped on the box, she heard the voice of Jiang Ziming. 

"I am telling you, Sister Xue. That bitch was really confident, I am afraid that she might really have a piece of evidence to prove that it was us who recorded and published the images on the internet." Jiang Ziming couldn't get the confident image of Bai Meiyue out of his head. The way she spoke as if she knew something was really terrifying. 

"Why are you so worried, Brother Ziming?" Bai Xue blinked her eyes innocently, even though behind that innocent and sweet face lay a disgusting scheming bitch. "I believe that Meiyue was only trying to scare you into making a mistake, she might be suspecting us but if she had any evidence then she would have already posted it." 

"Why would she wait until the netizens nearly drowned her in spit?" 

"That's right, Ziming," Su Hu said to Jiang Ziming. "There is no need to worry. That woman is an idiot, I have been cheating on her for years and she couldn't even catch such a small thing? How can she find a shred of evidence to prove that we were the ones who posted her photos with that man all over social media? Quit making a ruckus." 

"If you keep acting like this then you will only look even more guilty," after speaking, Su Hu's face turned dark and he muttered, "However, that woman is really disgusting. Even when her legs are dangling in her coffin, she refuses to sign the agreement. If she had then Xue Xue would have become the main lead." 

"Brother Hu, you don't need to feel angry." Bai Xue coaxed the man while kissing and nibbling on his jaw. "Sooner or later that woman had to sign this agreement, just you wait. We only need to hire a water army and everything will be done." 

Bai Meiyue sneered after hearing Bai Xue's words. She exited the video box and then turned to Bai Qingshi, who was pacing back and forth.

"Honey, is Brother Sun still not willing to let go of you?" Chu Xia asked as she swaggered over to Bai Qingshi. She placed the bowl of soup that she was carrying in her well-manicured hands onto the table and said to her husband, "I thought that Brother Sun was willing to forgive you." 

"He is willing to forgive me, but he wants Meiyue to serve him tonight!" Bai Qingshi gritted his teeth out as he cursed his eldest daughter, "She had one job! One! All she needed to do was go in the right room and serve that man, but just leave it to that brat! She ruined everything just like her mother."
