After crossing the border between the provinces, Li Ming and the others could enter the Central Province, the region where Li Ming's hometown is located.
Li Ming looked ahead, and all he could see were vast plains of wheat fields and villages filled with trees. This was a characteristic feature of the Central Province, a big agricultural region.
However, the crops growing all around might provide them with a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, this was exactly what they needed. For example—watermelon!
"Next, we probably need to slow down a bit."
Li Ming thought to himself, the ripening period for watermelons is before September, but there might be some leftover somewhere.
Even if there weren't any watermelons, there might be grapes. Maybe in someone's backyard ripe grapes hang heavy on the vine, uncared for.
Musing about this, Li Ming took a shower after his morning exercise, changed his clothes, and got back in the car to continue their journey.
