Mutated Giant Black Spider

Rael's determination and confidence were on full display as he approached the massive spider. The creature's legs skittered menacingly, and the corrosive liquid dripping from its maw sizzled upon contact with the prison floor.

'This guy looks very strong, but his speed seems to be lacking in comparison. I should be able to take it down by using this to my advantage.'

With the Watcher's gift of increased attributes, Rael felt more capable than ever. He raised his Uncommon Sword, its blade gleaming with newfound power, and leaped into action.

The battle that ensued was fierce and intense. Rael's increased strength and agility allowed him to dodge the spider's venomous attacks with remarkable ease. With precise strikes and a tactical mind, he aimed for the creature's vulnerable points, slowly wearing it down.

As the spider thrashed and spat venom, the battle raged on, and Rael's companions watched in awe. Maria, Ron, and the others now saw Rael as a God, an unstoppable force of nature; one that was very angry after finally getting hit by the black spider...

"You disgusting shit!" Shouting at the top of his lungs, Rael looked at his left shoulder that was hit by the spider's leg.

There was a giant bruise there, and unfortunately for him, the Rare Luscious Armor didn't cover that zone at all.

Struggling a bit to get up, Rael quickly activated Dash, swiftly appearing in front of the mutant spider before raising his Uncommon Sword and chopping down.

The spider screeched like a pig being slaughtered after losing two of his hind legs; his giant body losing its balance for a while, giving Rael the opportunity to continue.

Not giving the spider any other chance, Rael managed to cut another few of its members before seeing something that made him retreat.

The black mutant spider opened his mouth again and spat a green ball of liquid towards Rael's position, which he quickly dodged due to using Dash.

'What is that?!' Gaping for a while, Rael managed to cool down thinking that he was lucky. The green ball released by the spider touched the ground before it started to emit some 'Sss' sounds.

Looking closely, Rael knew that what the spider just threw at him was probably some kind of poison; a highly concentrated dose of poison.

In a climactic moment, Rael lunged forward, landing a critical blow that pierced the spider's exoskeleton. The creature screeched in agony for a few seconds, trying its best to resist the pain.

With another use of Dash, Rael appeared behind the spider and struck with his sword, his strength attribute which was 28 at the moment fully showed its potential as the sword managed to pierced the spider's back once more.

Some foul blood with a stinky smell assaulted Rael's senses, but he overcame it and continued to strike the spider until the latter didn't move anymore; a cloud of dust quickly rose up, blocking everyone's vision.

As the dust settled and the spider's remains disintegrated into the eerie light that marked the fallen enemies in the prison, Rael glanced at his System's Interface.

Rael was stunned for a while, and before he could think any further, another thing caught his eyes; the light of drops on the ground.

A few notifications prompted Rael to check his Inventory, he was surprised to see a few items and weapons there.

[Rare Black Spider Gloves]: +3 Strength, +3 Stamina, +3 Agility. Rare chance of increasing your attributes by 10% for ten minutes.

Stunned wasn't enough to describe Rael's mood right now.

First off, he received enough experience to level up, then he got a new title; that was better than his current one.

Secondly, he received a lot of crazy new weapons and equipment that not only were OP, but also formed a Set Effect!

'This crazy shit is making me lose my mind, first off, Apocalypse, then that guy, the Watcher, and now this shit too?! Am I some kind of protagonist or what?'

Shaking his head, Rael made sure to remove his old weapon and equipment before using the new ones.

After he successfully equipped them, he felt a strange power coursing through his body, one that made him aware that he was 'strong'.

Rael had leveled up once more, and his attributes had continued to increase. The battle against the giant spider had pushed him to new heights of power. He couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment, knowing that he was growing stronger with each challenge.

The others gathered around him, their admiration and respect evident in their eyes.

With the spider threat eliminated and their plans solidified, they were ready to move forward and face whatever challenges this post-apocalyptic world had in store for them.

But for the moment, they had a base to secure, survivors to train, and a world to explore.

Before going, Rael decided to check his System once more after also equipping his Mad Slayer Title and using his attributes points left, three to perception and two on agility.
