Chapter 29 - Killing The Orc Warlord

As Kiel rushed into the camp, he casted "Basic Mana Sword(C)".

Inside the encampment did not even bother with the Orc Scouts or Orc Hunters.

He directly rushed to the Elite Orc Hunters and started killing them one by one.

Time was tight. If they recovered, the humans would stand no chance.

In the distance, he could hear the gates were groaning open and the horses were raring to go.

Within a few short minutes, he killed a total of 57 Elite Orc Hunters. The system prompts were non-stop.

"Elite Orc Hunter killed, 250 experience gained."

"Elite Orc Hunter killed, 250 experience gained."

"Elite Orc Hunter killed, 250 experience gained."

He levelled up and hit the cap of level 20. He peek at his Status window and saw his experience counter was 3299/3300

What a waste of experience points.

After successfully dispatching the Elite Orc Hunters, he walked towards the Orc Warlord, Thrullax Ironjaw.

The massive monster slowly stood up. At his full height he was 6m tall, long braided hair, rippling muscles along his whole body. Even the arm was even thicker than his body and its thigh was thicker than Shoren that fat coin master.

Wielding a massive axe in his right hand, Thrullax Ironjaw was a terrifying monster to face.

But Kiel was unfazed. He had killed a Gharl King. This was nothing.

He gambled on a big flaw in the Orcs' society he learned in his previous life.

Orc Warlords ONLY fight ALONE.

Especially so if there was only 1 enemy.

They would even kill those who tried to interfere.

That twisted sense of honour and arrogance often made it easier to kill an Orc Warlord.

Killing them wasn't a problem. Surviving after killing them was. Being swarmed by hundreds of angry Orcs was no fun.

Standing before the Orc Warlord, the massive monster noticed him as he approached.

Kiel could see the monster's eyes turning red. Its height grew from 6 metres to 9 metres tall.

The already massive muscle and limbs grew by at least 50% and its arms were longer.

This was bad.

Although they were 5 metres apart, Kiel felt like he was within the monster's reach and the next second, he realised he really was.

Thrullax remembered overseeing the gathering with the rest of the Orcs that evening.

The day's raid was not bad. There had been many casualties but it was still acceptable.

In a few more days, the gates will fall, and by then, there will be a feast.

The morale was good. He was satisfied.

Those weak humans will suffer.

There would be more meat to go around anyway, he was not too concerned.

Orcs bred fast if there was enough food.

Suddenly, out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a big ball of something crashing 40 metres away from the centre of the campfire.

Then he saw a bright white light, heard a deafening explosion and he was swept off his feet by the blast.

When he got up, he saw many of his Elites slaughtered by a little dishonourable human, far to the side where the centre of the explosion was, at least 70 of his Elites died.

All of his Elites died. ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!

This puny human was the culprit.

Everything starts to turn red.

His mind started to feel sluggish and he was consumed by insatiable anger.

I MUST TEAR THIS THING APART!!!!!!!!

He lifted his massive 4 metre long axe and chopped at the human with blinding speed.

The axe cleaving into the earth felt wrong, he had MISSED THE HUMAN!!!

Thrullax anger grew and he was losing himself deeper into his anger.

He kept trying to chop at the small human but he simply couldn't touch the little creature.

Each miss fuels his anger more.

Suddenly, he lost sight of the little man and felt a cut in his right hamstring.

Thrullax kept swinging his axe and he kept missing.

It was now difficult for him to move around with a cut hamstring.

On one of his chops, he got his axe stuck on the ground for a split second and the human slashed his wrist.

His right hand lost its strength and the axe dropped.

He felt no pain. He simply picked up the axe with his left hand and he wanted to slash at the pesky little human.

Unfortunately, he lost sight of the creature again and felt something poking into his armpit.

He couldn't understand why his left arm completely lost strength and dropped limply on his side.

Roaring in anger, he tried to find the puny human. Then his left knee gave in and he fell to his knee.

THIS HUMILIATION WAS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!

He felt the human had mounted on his back. This was an even greater insult.

ORCS ARE NOT MOUNTS!!!!!

He tried to turn around and use his right arm to slap the hateful being.

Then he saw the world spins and everything darkens.

##########

Just as Kiel finished using his "Power Boost(11)" to power both sword and blade through the thick neck.

His "Sixth Sense(C)" was strongly warning him and he immediately jumped off the Warlord headless body.

At that time the system prompted

"Orc Warlord killed, 1,000 experience gained

One skill page gained."

As he landed, the massive head landed next to him and he heard a loud smack behind him.

Turning around, he saw the massive arm landed on the wide back where he had been as the headless torso started to fall toward him.

Kiel rolled forward to avoid being squashed under the heavy body and felt glad he had moved fast; if not that blow would have seriously hurt him and might even break a few bones.

Kiel did not even look at the skill and ripped the skill page in front of him, just in time for the cascading light to fade away as Damien arrived with his soldiers.

"Skill acquired:

Bronze Body(D): Stronger than Steel Body"

!@#$ typical system.

The rest of the orcs were stunned when they saw their Warlord headless body fall.

They were in disbelief, how could such a small creature kill their big and strong Orc Warlord.

The arriving human army also saw the moment Kiel cut the head of the Orc Warlord.

The massive creature was still 6 metres tall despite kneeling, towering over the rest of the Orcs by over a metre.

They had seen the fight right from the beginning when the Warlord in his berserk state was standing 9 metres in his full height, towering over the rest of the Orcs who barely reached his waist.

Damien took advantage of the moment and cheered.

The rest of the human armies cheered and continued to charge into the Orc hordes who had yet to recover and begin their slaughter.

The Orcs were routed.
