Chapter 133: Oh No, Are You Alright?

Roch was definitely not a small figure.
Even with the many gangs in Rentham City, managing to grow his to over a thousand members meant it had reached a certain scale.
Although most of them were spread across the outer city and the areas outside the city, with so many people, things got done efficiently.
Otherwise, Fisher wouldn't have sought him out.
You could consider it an upper-middle-tier gang.
It seemed like Wu Heng needed to adjust his plans.
Killing Roch and Fisher would need careful planning.
If Roch died, Fisher would likely catch on and make other preparations.
The reverse was also true. If Fisher was killed first, Roch would immediately run.
Finding him later would be difficult.
They both had to die around the same time.
The robe draped over Wen Mansa's body was becoming looser, and she started to get a little flustered.
She whispered, "Master, I'm willing to serve you, but there are others here. Please show me some dignity."
"These two are my servants. They aren't living beings and have no emotions."
Wen Mansa cautiously glanced at the two figures, both wearing round helmets that concealed their faces.
They had stood motionless the entire time, indeed not appearing to be alive.
She couldn't quite figure out what they were but turned her back toward them regardless.
While Wu Heng caressed her body, he continued asking for the information he needed.
"What level is Roch?"
"Level 10 warrior, but he likely has some special bloodline that allows him to boost his strength for a short time."
"Are there any other strong individuals in the gang?"
"There are eight core members. One died at your place yesterday, leaving seven. They're all at Level 8. There are also several captains managing the lower ranks."
As they spoke, Wen Mansa's robe slipped to the floor, revealing her full figure.
Her body was full and curvaceous, with a soft little belly, smooth to the touch.
Her breasts were firm, white, and shapely.
She really was a gem; it would've been a shame to kill her earlier.
Wen Mansa clung to him, her eyes filled with desire, as she gently removed his clothes.
Her soft fingers traced his chest, her face slightly flushed, "Master, your muscles are beautiful…"
Growing bolder, she lightly stroked him, "Are you a warrior too?"
"A mage. What class are you?"
"I'm a ranger," Wen Mansa continued to caress him.
Wu Heng squeezed her chest, "With this body, you're a ranger?"
"If Master doesn't like it, I'll cut them off tomorrow," she joked, then added, "You're a mage? How did you train those muscles? Even close-combat classes rarely look like this. Fisher really picked the wrong fight. You'll definitely be someone important in the future."
"You've got a sweet tongue."
"If you don't mind, you can taste it." She playfully stuck out her tongue halfway.
She really was a temptress.
After a while of mutual indulgence, the mood between them heightened.
Completely engrossed, Wen Mansa asked, "Master, does this please you?"
"Yes."
...
The next morning.
Wu Heng sat at the edge of the bed, gently stroking Wen Mansa's red hair as she knelt beside him. He spoke softly, "You have two tasks: first, inform me as soon as Roch returns, and second, find a way to gradually take control of the Spikes Gang. Once Roch is dead, I'll help you secure your position."
Wen Mansa looked up and asked, "What about Fisher? Won't he continue to threaten your safety?"
"Like him, I can't act openly either."
"I see."
After a short pause.
The sound of conversation and approaching footsteps came from outside.
Knock, knock, knock~!
There was a knock on the door, followed by a voice, "Sister-in-law, breakfast is ready at the tavern."
"Ahem~! Got it. You guys wait outside the courtyard; I'll be out soon."
"Yes!"
The footsteps faded away.
Wen Mansa softly said, "Master, I'll go now. I'll make sure someone sends you the information."
"Mm."
Wen Mansa changed into a fitted long dress, covering the faint scars from last night with a scarf. She completely shed her seductive demeanor, reverting to a dignified and aloof appearance.
She walked out of the courtyard.
Several gang members stood guard at the entrance.
They all greeted her.
"Morning, Sister-in-law!"
"Morning, Sister-in-law!"
Wen Mansa nodded, regaining her proud, cold demeanor, "Mm, morning! There's no need to guard here anymore. What's there to watch in this rundown place? Go to the tavern and have breakfast. Sister-in-law is treating you."
"Thanks, Sister-in-law!"
With that, they walked away.
A group of gang members followed her.
"Sister-in-law is in a good mood today?"
"Maybe the boss sent some good news. At least she won't be scolding us today."
"Yeah, that's true…"
...
Wu Heng got dressed and left the place.
He hadn't expected last night's operation to turn out like this.
Not only did he uncover the mastermind, but he also acquired a compliant maid.
He had been feeling a bit out of place during his time in Rentham City.
The tavern girls here were so open that they'd pull out their chests and ask if you wanted to play.
He had considered finding a companion before.
But he hadn't expected it to be resolved in such a way.
Still, it wasn't bad. He felt refreshed, both mentally and physically!
On his way, he stopped by an alchemy supply shop, buying a large amount of materials and tools.
These were for the Alchemist Skeleton. He could forget other things, but not this.
Returning to the inner city, he headed straight to the Adventurer's Guild.
It was still early, and there weren't many people in the hall. A few adventurers stood by the bulletin board, checking the posted commissions.
Wu Heng stood there for a while, just as he was about to leave, he saw the members of Squad Eight entering through the main doors.
Fisher was among them.
Wu Heng narrowed his eyes and subtly opened his gun holster.
Fisher's steps faltered momentarily but quickly resumed as he walked over.
Smiling, Fisher said, "Captain Wu Heng, what brings you here so early?"
Damn, his nerves are pretty strong.
Wu Heng stopped and replied, "Don't even ask. A few thieves broke into my place the other night, and I haven't been able to sleep well since."
Fisher's face shifted slightly, "Oh no, were you hurt? Who would dare steal in the inner city?"
"No injuries, but I'm suspicious of those guys' identities. I have no idea where they came from," Wu Heng said with a troubled expression.
Fisher glanced at his face and continued, "You're new to Rentham City. That's just how it is here—too many drifters. It's not just you; I've heard even the city hall's been robbed before. As long as no one was hurt, it's not a big deal. Don't dwell on it. Just be careful next time."
"Mm, you're right, Fisher." Wu Heng glanced at the members behind him, "Is Squad Eight heading out on a mission?"
"No, we had a misunderstanding with Squad Twelve recently, so we're just reporting back to the steward today," Fisher said, glancing toward the steward's office.
"Oh, well, don't keep the steward waiting. Let's chat again later!"
"Sure."
They parted ways with a few brief words.
As they walked away, Fisher turned his head slightly to glance at Wu Heng, who hadn't looked back.
Wu Heng didn't look back, continuing straight ahead.
Fisher was quite the actor. If it weren't for the intel from last night, Wu Heng might have fallen for his act.
Knowing Fisher was behind everything, Wu Heng could now see the subtle probing in his words and the relaxation in his expression when Wu Heng mentioned the "thieves."
Fisher was likely worried that Wu Heng might discover something and report it to the Guild.
Killing a fellow member wasn't a minor offense.
But the process would be complicated—there'd be investigations, confirmations—it'd be hard to pin it down conclusively.
Wu Heng had no intention of handling this through the Guild.
A few tricks, and as a necromancer, he wasn't about to let a close-combat class outplay him.
...
Back at his residence.
Wu Heng double-checked the security of his place.
He should arrange more guards to enhance the safety here.
After sitting in the living room for a while.
He opened the portal and returned to the zombie world.
He handed the purchased materials to the Alchemist Skeleton and then used the radio to contact Li Yanhong.
Soon, Li Yanhong came running over.
"How's the preparation going?" Wu Heng asked.
"Yesterday, we made a trip to the hospital, bringing back whatever equipment and devices we could. Tonight, we'll scour the surrounding shops and take whatever useful items we can," Li Yanhong replied.
Since they were about to leave, they needed to take everything they could.
"Mm, if necessary, take it back first. I'll have Big Head go with you."
"We'll head back tomorrow. For now, we'll make a quick trip." Li Yanhong glanced at the skeletons Wu Heng had summoned and asked, "Are we heading out?"
Wu Heng nodded.
"You get ready too; we're going to the commercial street."
