Su Jiyai sat back in her chair, thinking carefully.
She hadn't expected such a dire situation from a base as well-known as Rover Base.
It was one of the larger bases in the nation, and for them to be struggling this much, the situation must be worse than she thought.
Ge Chunli looked at the speaker, his eyes filled with determination.
"I don't know who you are exactly, Boss Su," he admitted.
"But I've heard about Hope Base, and how it's one of the few places that's still stable. You have resources, and you have strength. That's why I came to ask for your help."
Su Jiyai didn't respond right away.
She could see the desperation in Ge Chunli's face, and she understood how hard it must have been for him to come here and ask for assistance.
"Ge Chunli," she said after a moment of silence, "you're asking for a lot. I understand the seriousness of your situation, but helping Rover Base will require a significant effort on my part."
