"I failed!"
"I failed to tell you the truth. I failed to give you a happy ending. I failed to protect you from that witch. I failed to save your heart from turning cold towards me. I failed at everything when it comes to you." Her lips trembled.
Her eyes tearing up. She wasn't able to hold herself back. The feelings she had suppressed inside her failed to stay inside her. "All these years, I.. I failed to forget you. I failed to act tough. I failed to not get affected by you. I failed to not cry over you. I failed miserably."
Tears rolled down her eyes. She confronted herself right there and then. She accepted the truth. "When I look at you, I still want to give you the happy ending. I tried until now but why is it that I can never tell you? I lack proofs, I know. But that doesn't mean I lie..."
She sobbed lightly. She couldn't hold back her emotions.
"You are... my first love. You don't even remember the first time I ever met you, when I was just a little girl. You.. don't even know how much I liked you even when you ignored me everyday. I don't like you anymore, but it still hurts thinking about the past..
"Even though you hurt me, why do I think you deserve every little happiness in this world? Why did You think I was taking away your happiness? Why?" She asked him when she knew she won't get answers. She turned her face around and wiped her tears. She leaned her head back against the bed.
She sat there and calmed herself down. "I hope, this will be the last day. I cried over you. I know that until the day I get answers to my questions, I won't be able to move on from you but I also know, that letting you go might help ease that pain in my chest. Congratulations on your wedding Mr Wang."
She pushed herself up from the ground. His sleeping face was calm. She set an alarm from his phone's control centre. "I hope you will make it on time. I wish you a happy ending. I wish you to be happy and always smiling. You look even more enchanting when you smile."
She chuckled at her own words and patted his face. "I have moved on from you. I let everything out and I.. don't like you." She smiled and walked outside.

Mi Chan sighed. "Drop me at Li Zinhuo's apartment. You already know everything from Sang Qian. I need to talk with him."
"You are seriously shameless." Qin Si commented and after a few minutes she dropped Mi Chan at Li Zinhuo's apartment. Mi Chan was not in a good mood. She knew him, and she saw sure he wasn't out of the town.
Mi Chan stared at the huge building in front of her. She had a cold expression on her face. There was something about this whole thing that was bothering her. She walked to the door, entered the passcode and walked inside.
The lights were turned off. The only source of light was the moon. The moonlight entered through the huge glass windows. She stepped inside and eyed her surroundings. She walked to the couch and spotted Li Zinhuo laying in the dark. She felt pain in her heart. This cold man would never compromise his sleep, why was he here?
"Zinhuo." She called out his name as she turned on the lights. Li Zinhuo stirred and opened his eyes. He frowned. "What are you doing here?" He got up and a groan escaped her lips. "My arm is really stiff!" He complained.
Mi Chan was simply staring at his face. He wasn't drunk. She walked closer to him and held his collar. "Why did you not come?"
"Why would I come? Just leave. It's over Mi Chan. You're getting married. What else do you want from me?" He yelled angrily.
Mi Chan's eyes teared up. "I missed you. I felt alone there. Why weren't you there?" She complained. "I was not feeling well. I thought around you, I'd feel good like I always do!"
Li Zinhuo let out a cold laugh. "I seriously don't know what the fuck is wrong with you? Why can't you get this in your head that I don't care. You are just unbelievable. You said you Love Wang Zhao!"
"I Do!"
"Then leave!" He yelled. She frowned. Was all this a joke? Didn't he say he would take responsibility for her till the end? Why was he doing this to her? What if she told him the truth. The truth she is afraid to let out. The truth about her feelings.
She sobbed standing right there. "Don't do this to me. Please. Even if you want to end this. Please don't do it like this. I... beg you.." her shoulders trembled with her sobs. Her heart was heavy.
Li Zinhuo's eyes were cold. He stared at her. Why did she have to come here? She was getting married. He clenched his jaw and a breath left his lips. "You wanted to end things with me Mi Chan. It was not me. I just hope that I will get over you... you know what you don't know?"
Mi Chan raised her head up. Li Zinhuo's eyed glistened with tears from the pain in his heart. "I loved you.." he said with trembling lips trying to hold himself back. A wave of shock passed through her body. She was stiff. Her eyes stared blankly at him. "You didn't.."
He nodded. "I did.. since the first day I met you I knew I would fall for you. I am sorry for all the cold words. I am sorry for everything. I loved you, why couldn't you see it? And now I don't. I might even hate you for being like this." He asked and then answered himself.
"I know why you never found it out, I never made it clear. Anyways, it's all over. You are getting married to someone you love. I paid off everything you were hiding. Now, let's meet each other formally next time. Leave." He said flatly and walked upstairs. Mi Chan was standing there. Her breath was heavy. She placed a hand on her heart. Why did she feel the pain?
Her hands quivered and her breathing got heavy. Her vision was blurry. Her legs gave up and she fell unconscious.
Li Zinhuo paused in his steps when the 'thud' sound reached his ears. He looked back and saw her laying unconscious on the floor. He cursed and ran to her. "Wake up!!" He yelled again as a worried expression made it's way on his face. He lifted her up and laid her down on the couch.
He patted her cheek and Mi Chan stirred. She opened her eyes, her breathing was audible. "I... I..." she stammered as she wiped her eyes with her hand. He looked deep in her blank eyes. Her face looked tired. The makeup could no longer hide her black circles as it was swiped off. He sighed.
"Don't do this to me Mi Chan. It is just too late." He smiled lightly but it couldn't hide the sadness. Mi Chan gulped. What if she was pregnant? She had a test, and she hadn't received the reports for god knows what reason. She had missed her period and she was almost sure.
She pursed her lips not having enough courage to say anything to him. "At-least drop me at the mansion. I have to be there tonight." He nodded his head taking a small sniff. Just as she got up. His lips were pressed against her forehead.
"My last caring kiss." He tried to make a joke and it worked. She smiled. "I am grate... Thank you!"

Mi Chan slumped herself on the bed and held back her tears. Her eyes would swell up if she cried to sleep. She sighed and hugged the pillow. Not even caring to change her dress, she curled herself in a corner and started to drift off to sleep.
Her phone buzzed with a ton of notifications. She ignored and didn't bother taking a look. The name "Dr.He" was in big bold letters but she wasn't bothered.

Ji Jin sighed as she looked at Wang Yuhan who was now on the couch of his apartment trying to sleep. She was there breathing heavily. "You, Why do you go to the gym, your are so heavy!" She yelled.
He opened his eyes suddenly and frowned. "Why are you yelling. Come here." She furrowed her brows and stepped closer. Her hair fell down her shoulders and suddenly she was pulled down. He towered her and flipped the sides, pinning her down on the couch. She blinked. "Wh-What are you doing?!?!"
Her heart thundered in her chest. She looked away but he grabbed her chin and made her look at him. Blush crept across her face. "Get away!" She said angrily but he didn't budge. His red cheeks proved he was drunk but his eyes didn't. His eyes had a clear intention of something.
"Jin, You kissed me that night. Why?" He asked in his deep breathy voice. Goosebumps spread all over Jin's body.
"I didn't, you might have been dreaming." She stammered.
He smirked. He leaned in and pressed a quick kiss on her lips. "I didn't kiss you either. You are just dreaming."
Ji Jin's body shuddered with sudden current that passed through her veins. She blinked her eyes in surprise. "What are you trying to do Yuhan?" It was a mere whisper.
"I myself don't know." He stared at her nervous eyes. He wanted more. He smiled lightly. "I am a playboy Jin, you're just someone who hooks up. A perfect match. Why don't you let me kiss you?"
She scoffed. "I had.." she gulped.
He stared at her lips. "You what?" He asked.
"I had never even kissed someone, else than you that night. Don't even think of comparing me to yourself."
A sudden relief washed over his chest. He smiled. "You are honest, why?"
She gulped. "Cause I know you won't remember half of this when you will wake up tomorrow." It was a fact. There had been many encounters like this in the past but he rarely remembers what he does when he is drunk.
"Then I wish I will forget this." He smirked and leaned in pressing his lips onto hers. She was shocked but then she could feel the gentleness. She gave in an instant. She never knew everything she could only dream of, will be true so soon.
A moan escaped her lips as he pulled away. "How could you be mistaken that I was drunk when I didn't even drink much?" He questioned as he pulled her up with him and lifted her up in his arms.
She was surprised. "My arms are hurting after holding all that weight. Are you crazy?" She blinked and he just stared at her.
"Ji Jin, I think I..." his words trailed off. He stopped when he saw tears glistening in her eyes. She had a hurt expression on her face.
He frowned. "What's wrong?"
"I am embarrassed.. you knew all this while I.. I am sorry, I knew I crossed the line even now..."
He hugged her. "Ji Jin, sometimes I feel, you need a therapy more than me. Don't be sorry for no reason. Yes I couldn't sleep well the whole night but.. I will let it slide." The fake arrogance made her chuckle.
She pulled away. "I like you.."
"I know." He said and stood up. "Sleep here, There are always your things in the guest room."
Ji Jin frowned. I know? What kind of reply was that to a confession. Didn't he just kiss her. She held his hand before he could walk away. He looked back, not at her but her hand. "What?" He looked up.
"Nevermind." She smiled lightly and walked to the door. "I will just head back, have to do it anyway."
Wang Yuhan was standing there with a stoic expression. As soon as she headed out, he let out a deep breath. "What did I do?!?!" He complained and ran a hand through his hair. "It was so evident that I hurt her just now. Why did I have to kiss her?! God!!!"
He walked to his room frustrated and flushed.
