Chapter 186

It was weird and unusual for us to take the journey to Karta, because the last time when we were in Karta we had just came back from America and Lee was married, but I wasn't aware of, nor did he tell me. Somehow the image of Karta shifted from being that beautiful place which we fell in love with and also the place which tore us apart - and then a place which reunited us in lies.

Along the way both of us were silent and I understood why, I didn't force it for us to talk straight away. I wanted us to have time to think about everything, to be aware of our feelings and tackle them in a calm manner. At dawn we arrived in Karta and we had the same feeling we first experienced before - the music, the energy, the noise....

Karta was never dull and it would never be, the streets were crowded with drummers and singers who sang their hearts out and danced like no one was watching. "Let's get down and watch the drummers" I said with excitement.
