A few hours later and the rest of the fights finished, Kanoh crushed gaolang with his formless boxing and kuroki crushed rei due to him still being an assassin at his base. Logan watched every second to grasp what he could from their styles and found similarities to things he already knew and some completely new things.

Gaolang in particular helped Logan refine his striking with his boxing and muai Thai hybrid. Kuroki also helped him refine his karate with his Okinawa and ryukyuan based style. The Kaiwan style is excellent reference material. While Logan waited in the hallway for his next match he slowly dropped to horse stance and drove a knife hand forward into the concrete impaling his fingers into it.

He just learned how to use the devil lance but needs to refine it. So some light shadow fighting that wrecked the hallway got him to the point it was usable in a fight. In the corner of the hallway two eyes appeared from the walls and watched him practice. Naturally this was Robin and she just watched him master things quickly again. It's amazing to her that there are people like that out there.

Logan walked out and found Ohma skipping on the spot to warm up. Just looking at him made Logan wince at how badly his body has been destroyed in this tournament. "You ready to lose Logan!" He said cockily. "Bro seriously I think you should quit, your technique is destroying your heart which means you either need to stop now and get on a recuperation regiment or get a heart transplant".

"Big talk from someone about to lose, death in a match is common" "yeah but suicide by technique isn't"

Ohma huffed and used a Niko movement technique to manoeuvre towards Logan and threw an iron breaker into Logan's back. But all that happened was a resounding gong noise. Ohma looked at his deformed fist "Unbreakable?" "Tekkai actually. Your style isn't the only one to have those moves" he said grabbing his wrist and flipping him using aiki just like the Niko style willow.

He slammed into the ground and coughed out some blood. "See internal injuries, your body needs rest and time to heal. Nogi has lost this tournament but here will always be another. Please surrender."

But Ohma began hallucinating again and seeing two different Niko's. Each whispering things in his ear with one telling him to advance and slaughter while the other said to heed Logan's advice.

Loosing his shit he tried to use the advance but Logan kneed him in the face hard sending him hurtling across the arena. Even still he stood up, Logan wasn't sure how he was doing that but assumed it was plot power.

Yamashita was screaming in the background while looking somewhat like a turkey to Logan. He turned back to Ohma to see him bleeding from his mouth and nose so he decided to end it. He used soru to vanish starling the arena with his speed as he struck towards Ohma.

But plot armour kicked in and Ohma used the technique he should have used against wakatsuki. Demonsbane! He drove a kick straight into Logan's chin sending him off his feet and onto his back. Just like in canon the other fighters praised Ohma for being a monster but unlike canon they knew Logan was a bigger monster. He took down several powerhouses easily and looked to have no signs of stopping.

Ohma was chanting inwardly for him to stay down but Logan just sat up casually. He had a small bruise to his chin which demonstrated the power behind the attack but it was nothing he hadn't ranked before.

He got up and looked towards Ohma who was hyperventilating, struggling to draw breath so Logan did what any normal man would do. He gave him a lariat into the wall knocking Ohma out for good. As he turned to walk away he felt Ohma twitch so he drove a kick into his jaw just to make sure. No more plot armour.

Logan made his way to Yamashita, "hey, so his heart is about to give out. Either get him on a healing regimen that he'll stick to or get him a new heart. Also he's using his advance wrong." Yamashita shakes slightly "wrong how" Logan exhaled "the advance works by speeding up the blood flow and increasing speed and strength. However Ohma over does it, he should keep the heart rate lower than what he normally does so he can maintain sanity and still use his martial arts. A sign he's managed to do it would be that his sclera would darken like it did with Raian".

After saying his piece he walked away as Yamashita thanked him and ran off see Ohma. As he was leaving a man with long hair arrived and began spouting bullshit about Ohma being a god and then tried to attack Logan. So he backhanded him into a wall and continued up to the stands.

He wanted to see the next fight and boy did it meet his expectations. It even gave him an idea after he copied a particular move used in the fight. He retired to his room to "strategise" with Togo, Robin and kokomi. Tomorrow would be the finals with Logan lee vs Kuroki Gensai.
