Chapter 86: Girl meets Family

"It's nice to meet you, I am Louise Ackerman can you please move away from my brother?."

A girl with greenish long hair, bright green eyes was standing in front of Dorothy, Arthur was scared breathless as he sees both his sister and his father right here in front of them.

[Crap! I haven't told them about me and Dorothy yet!?]

"Brother? Arthur mind explaining to me who these people are?." Dorothy exclaimed.

"Umm as she says.. she really is my sister.. and that over there in the wheelchair is my Father."

Upon hearing the words she freezes and sweats intensely as she slowly talks to them kindly while stuttering.

"I-I-I am... incredibly s-s-sorryy ab-about tha-that... nice to meet you I-I am Dorothy Rit--!?."

She froze right in the middle of her introduction as Arthur's father was curious about the girl in front of them.

"Nice to meet you.. may we now go to your room son, I would like to talk to you." He said.

Arthur felt shivers all over his body as he then thought,

[Am I in trouble? did he find out about us?]

"Of course you need to be there as well Ms. Dorothy.. we would like to have a word with you."

Dorothy was nervous like crazy, she was shaking all over, her mind was in chaos.

[What is going on right now?.]

Once they were at their front door Arthur unlocked it and opened the door, Anna rushed inside happily singing,

"Mama, Papa and I are home."

She repeatedly sang that over and over while Dorothy and Arthur were both embarrassed while both his sister and his Father were staring at them with suspicious eyes.

"L-Let's go inside now shall we?." Arthur said nervously.

Once they made themselves at home, the atmosphere in the room was really tense and awkward.

"So.. how was the travel?." Arthur asked.

"It was horrible." His Father replied.

"It's because Father's maid was suppose to come with us but he told her to go home instead." Louise says as she pats Anna's hair.

"You did it again Father?."

"Asking for her assistance is unnecessary, I don't need her help."

Arthur lets out a sigh while his Father was really curious about Dorothy, something about her face and eyes that looked familiar to him.

"Umm are you two perhaps ---?."

Louise stops patting Anna's head and listens to their conversation while Dorothy's eyes widened as she was extremely nervous on what to reply.

Arthur's Father looked like a strict person, with stiff shoulders and a serious look on his face ever since they met, her mind just couldn't know what to reply.

Arthur clenches tightly on his shirt as he then replies to him,

"Yes Father, She's your daughter in law."

The room was silent and his Father was still looking at him suspiciously as if he doesn't believe him.

The same goes for Louise, her eyes were staring blankly at them while Anna was confused and tried to pock her face.

"Sister Louise?."

She came back to her senses and gave Anna a smile,

"Sorry for frightening you, now where were we? ah yes your hair is soo cutee little Anna." Louise said.

While they were still silent, right after Arthur's proclamation over his relationship with Dorothy his Father then laid back and said,

"I see."

He simply closed his eyes while Dorothy was about to feint from the situation.

"Well I heard Carla is here too, do you know where she is?." He asked.

"I don't know where she is, but her room is on the other side of the building."

"No need for us to go to her, let her come here, I've been tired from the travel.. please make her hurry."

"Yes Father." Arthur replied.

"Louise, make dinner already."

"Yes Father." She said.

A few minutes have passed and Louise was making dinner, while Anna was sitting on Dorothy's lap.

"Is she your um.. my niece?."

"Well.. she isn't our actual daughter.. but I guess you can say that."

Anna was curious and proceeded to his father with a curious face she asked,

"Are you my uncle?."

"It appears so, tell me has Arthur been a good Father to you?."

"mhmmm he has been a good Papa to me since I met him."

"Oh? is that so? never thought my son would be such a capable man."

Arthur chuckled in sarcasm as Dorothy was still nervous about all of this, A few hours after having their dinner, Arthur received a message from Faith and Olivia,

"Father, it seems Carla is well... knocked out and she's being led there by the school's Armed Committee soo she'll be coming to see you tomorrow." Arthur said.

"Hmmm I see.. I'll make sure she suffers tomorrow after putting that sorry display in the match a few days ago."

"Huh? you were watching that Father?."

"Yes.. and I must say.. You were...terrible at that match."

Dorothy was holding in her laughter from a far while Arthur reacted,

"Ehhh?? but why Father??."

"I'll explain in the morning.. now good night."

Hours later their Father and Anna was already asleep, Dorothy and Arthur were at the living room talking about what just happened today.

"You never really talked about your Family, didn't you Arthur?."

"No I haven't, I never had any time to tell you about them.. and for that because you never asked about it."

Dorothy flicks his forehead and giggles from his reaction.

"You have an adorable voice Dorothy." He said.

"Yeah keep talking.."

They were about to lock in a kiss until...

"Must be nicee.."

Louise was behind them, probably listening to their conversations from the beginning.

"Louise!? when did you get there?." Arthur asked.

"From the start."

"How much did you hear?." Dorothy asked.

She clears her throat and imitates Dorothy's voice while raising her hands in the air.

"You never really talked about your Family, didn't you Arthur?."

Dorothy's face became all red while Arthur flailed his hands around making her to stop.

"So when did this relationship began?." She asked while arranging her long hair.

"Well been a while now.." Dorothy replied.

"Hmmm.. If you make my brother cry I'll make sure to take your memorie-- I mean make you pay."

"Don't worry sis, I'll take great care of your brother.. I promise." She replied.

"You better." She uttered.

Right before entering a room she looks at Arthur with a concern look on her face and enters the room, Dorothy and Arthur were now completely alone in the living room.

He turned around and checked all the areas, from left to right to see if anyone was still there, he lets out a sigh of relief as he kisses Dorothy without giving her any time to react.

She then closes his eyes and accepts the kiss head on, morning came and they both managed to fell asleep on the couch.

Dorothy managed to sniff something in the air, something good, something she loved to eat.

"Omelets?." She uttered softly.

She opens her eyes and notices she can't get out, Arthur was hugging her tight, she was pretty much locked down by him, she tries to get out of the situation she's in and managed it successfully.

"Well it isn't it Arthur.. then who's cooking?." She asked herself.

She went to the kitchen and saw Arthur's Father cooking Omelets himself in his wheelchair.

[Wow.] She thought to herself.

He managed to cook at least ten omelets and are now on a plate and is currently cooking at least five more. time by time he would flip the omelet around and wait for it to be cooked.

"It's not nice to simply stare at other people you know." He said.

"Oh.. you noticed I was here huh.. sorry about umm sir.."

"Just call me.. Franklin, besides you are my daughter in law."

Dorothy's face turns all red as she hears Arthur's father tell her that, she placed both hands on her face and faces the other way hiding her embarrassment.

[I can't believe I already got his Father's approval... but wait.. what about his Mother? where is Arthur's Mother?] She thought to herself.

"Well give me a hand with these will you Dorothy." He said.

A few minutes later someone was shoving Arthur, waking him up from his sleep.

"Huuh? Oh.. good morning Dorothy---iieeee!?!!??!."

It wasn't Dorothy who woke him up but his Father, his look was really serious, as if he was mad at him.

"Well I apologize it ain't the face of your girlfriend the first thing you see in the morning."

"EEEEEEEHHHHH!!??!? FATHER!?!??!."

"Calm yourself mah boy, It's time to eat our breakfast." He said.

Arthur was now calm, he looks around the area as he was still feeling drowsy.

"And go wake your sister and Anna up while you're at it."

Moments later they were all at the table, ready to eat their breakfast.

Everyone: Thank you for the food.

As they all dug in, Dorothy was still hesitant to get an omelet or two as she was embarrassed to take how many she wants.

"What's the matter Dorothy?." Franklin asked.

"Oh.. it's nothing.. Father.." She uttered.

As Anna dropped her spoon filled with rice and let out a huge smile while Louise spat out her drink in front of Arthur's face and asked,

"When did this become a thing? Father?."

"What's wrong with my future daughter in law calling me that? it seems normal to me." Franklin replied.

Arthur was confused to when this happened as well but at the same time was thankful they managed to get along.

[God, Thank you for this wonderful morning please don't change anything from now on.] He thought as he prayed.

Everyone was getting along finely as they were enjoying their breakfast, minutes later when they were done Arthur and Dorothy were at the kitchen washing the dishes, Arthur would wash them while Dorothy would wipe, clean and arrange them on the shelves.

"Hey Arthur.. what do you wanna do once we graduate?." Dorothy asks.

"Good question.. I haven't really thought about that though.." He replied while staring at his own reflection in the plate.

As they were continuing their conversation his father came in with a serious look on his face.

[Father?] He thought.

"Arthur, Dorothy.. I was planning on telling you this when Carla arrives but.. I'm going to teach you how to use your abilities."

"Teach us ---."

"----how to use our abilities?."

His serious look turned into a smile as he chuckled and said,

"Alright I'll meet you both at the field."

Arthur and Dorothy looked at each other in confusion as to what his father meant by what he said.

Carla was still at the other side as she just checked her phone and read the message, she immediately rushed towards Arthur and Dorothy's room meanwhile Anna and Louise were sitting next to each other at the benches while her Father, Arthur and Dorothy were at the middle of the field.

"Now.. Father.. what did you meant by ---."

"---- Teaching us how to use our abilities?."

They both asked, they were exhausted, gasping for air from running from their room towards the field.

"Come!."

Their brows furrowed from his response, the sweat falling from their heads, their mouths wide open taking in air.

"You'll be showing me how far you've gotten.. Come and Fight me!." He exclaimed.
