Chapter 85: A Calm day

It's been a day since the victory of WordBagon against Rainbow Academy and Arthur, Dorothy and Anna were out in the cafeteria eating snacks.

Arthur was eating a hotdog, while Anna was eating bread, and Dorothy simply eating what Arthur cooked for her this morning, scrambled eggs.

"Hey Dorothy, I know I said wanna grab something to eat.. but yours is already breakfast." he uttered.

"What's the problem with this? your cooking is always the best."

She really loves Arthur's cooking, everyday she would ask him to cook something for her and she would love them no matter what he cooked, meat, chicken, eggs, noodles at this point anything Arthur gives her is welcomed into her stomach.

"But we already had breakfast..."

An idea then pops into his head as he then says,

"You know.. Dorothy.. if you keep on eatin---!?."

He hadn't even finished his sentence yet and Dorothy already gave him a death stare, her eyes lit up a glow that would kill him in the instant he finishes his sentence.

Dorothy then grabbed her wand and aimed it at him, the tip was already glowing a bright light as Dorothy was about to release a spell at him with no restraints whatsoever.

He then closes his eyes trying to avert his look from the terrifying girl in front of him and says,

"I-I- I was kidding!? I was kidding!? Think of the innocent people enjoying their snacks and food here!? it's not just WordBagon students that are here.. other students from other schools are also here soo pleasee don't do it..."

He opens them and sees Dorothy back to normal again as he then lets out a sigh of relief.

Arthur was still recovering from his battle yesterday, he still has wounds all over his body, his body was extremely exhausted so the Sir. Charles told him to not enter any fights in the remaining two days if he wants to enter in the finals.

She was smiling again as if nothing happened, and ate a spoon with rice and eggs as Arthur was looking at her eating peacefully, he then thought,

[She's really terrifying when you provoke her...]

Anna was simply ignoring the two as she enjoys eating her bread coated with sugar on top.

Zack and May could be seen from a far spying on them,

"You see that Zack! this is what we should be doing.. not always hacking the government base or whatever."

"That's a little out of my league.. but.. I guess you're right.. but also you need to be here in person you know."

"I know that, but since the flights here are taking too long we won't be able to leave until we successfully board a flight."

May was on a vacation with her family on another kingdom when the flights over there were delayed for some reason, but Zack wouldn't allow her to quit school for a year, so he negotiated Sir. Charles to letting her keep going.. he searched for ways to let them accept his reason.

He tried building a cyborg version of her while her face was attached to an Ipad, and she would just call there and act like she usually do but that was ignored.

Then Sir. Charles told him to ask the principal, once they entered Zack simply begged for May to still be in this school.

"I promise I'll take responsibility for her actions.. for her projects.. for her assignments.. just please let her stay here."

And was then accepted, since then Zack has been bringing his phone everywhere just for May, he would bring in tons of powerbanks as when they are calling each other it takes a huge amount of his battery and here we are now.

"Don't worry Zack, I promise once I arrive at the airport I'll give you a kiss."

She winks him a promise, He was all flustered but tried to avert his bashfulness away from her.

"D-Do your parents even know about us?."

"Of course, they're really thankful for what you do for me everyday.. they kinda even gave us their blessing."

A big smile was on her face, Zack was even more flustered as he heard that but this time he couldn't contain it.

"Oh'yah? are you perhaps embarrassed Zack hehehe."

"Just shut up and get back here immediately." He replied.

He managed to hide it on time but was still embarrassed about what she just said, his mind was going crazy.

[THEY GAVE US THEIR BLESSING!?! I'M SUPPER HAPPY ABOUT THAT BUT SHOULD THEY REALLY GIVE THEIR BLESSING THAT QUICKLY!?]

Thrilled over the thought he couldn't contain his happy expressions on his face, meanwhile on the other side of the phone.. A girl with long blondish hair pressed her hand on the screen and whispered,

"I'll be coming home soon Zack.. please wait for me a little longer."

Meanwhile Arthur, Dorothy and Anna leave the cafeteria and head back to their rooms,

"Hey Anna be careful, chew your food properly alright."

"awright." She replied while chewing on her bread.

She never finished it, she was saving every piece of it for her mouth to flavor it, it seems Anna has found her new favorite snack.

Hoping around the area they then run into Anastasia and Raelynn,

"Oh my, what a pleasant surprise." Anastasia said with a smile on her face.

"Hello."

"Hi Raelynn." Arthur said.

"It's nice to see you Anastasia." Dorothy said.

as Anna was still hoping around the area Dorothy, Arthur, Anastasia and Raelynn were talking.

"Come on Anna, we're going to Anastasia's room." Arthur yelled out softly calling for her.

Minutes later after they arrived there Faith and Olivia were present at the door, they weren't on guard but they were merely sitting down in a chair.

"Whoah, I was expecting you and Olivia would go after them if they left the room." Arthur said.

"Yeah that is true.. but they insisted on letting us rest here for a while.."

Both Faith and Olivia's eyes twinkled as they see their favorite junk food but they snapped right out of it and was back to serious again.

"Oh yeah, these are yours you two.." Raelynn said as he hands them their snacks.

And the snacks they wanted too, with joy in their eyes they kneeled in front of them as Raelynn was nervous all of a sudden after seeing them kneel in front,

"We appreciate the kindness miss Raelynn and miss Anastasia.. but how did you know these are our favorite snacks?." Faith asked.

"Well we heard you two talking about it last night.." Raelynn said.

"So we decided it's for thanks for dealing with our shenanigans." Anastasia said.

"Your shenanigans Anastasia." Raelynn whispered to her.

"EEhh."

"We can't thank you enough." Olivia said.

They were still on the floor kneeling, showing their gratitude.

"Please you don't need to kneel any longer, you two can stand up now.. I know, why not you two join us for some chats inside the room?." Raelynn said with a smile on her face.

While the conversation was going on Anna was hesitant to eat the last bite of her bread, she was shaking, and was on the verge of tears.

She then swallows her pride and munches down the bread that she loves, A minute later everyone was inside the room.

Anastasia raised her fist in the air aiming it at Dorothy saying,

"That was indeed a fun match Dorothy."

"Same here."

Dorothy did the same and the two did a fist bump.

Anna was tugging Arthur's shirt, begging for another bread while Arthur was trying to explain they'll buy later in a low voice.

"I have to say it was Good Game, you all tried your best and that's the important thing." Faith said.

Olivia then sneaks besides her and says,

"Hehehehehe, and I got extra payment from that match so thank you everyone."

As they then understood what Olive was referring to, they then reached to a conclusion.

"You were betting our match!?."

Everyone except for Anna was who still trying to persuade Arthur to buy bread said.

"More importantly, you get paid!?." Arthur asks.

After a few hours of chatting with each other, laughing, enjoying the calm and the peaceful environment, Raelynn then asks,

"Are you two ready for your next match?."

"Yeah, I heard the group in the SK Academy is really powerful." Anastasia said.

"Really??." Dorothy asks.

"mhm.. if we won this match and faced them next? we would've gone all out from the beginning and launch an attack first before they can.. well that is if we manage to beat them.."

"We haven't seen them fight or anything but people say their the best team in their kingdom.. but we do know their leader is a Caster class.. but that's all we know." Raelynn said.

"Thanks, that's already enough we appreciate it." Arthur replied.

Anna still hasn't given up on that bread and was still tugging his shirt repeatedly.

"Well you two better not loose to these guys, otherwise I'll beat you both to death if you do." Anastasia said.

"Don't worry, we wont." Dorothy replied with a confident look on her face.

Arthur then nods his head as he stands up saying,

"Dorothy, me and Anna are gonna go buy some bread again, wanna come?."

"Good idea, I might as well buy something to drink..."

"You two come back to our room whenever you like alright." Anastasia said.

"mhm we're all grateful for you all here with us, so please come again." Raelynn said.

"We will." Arthur said.

"Baybyeee." Anna waved goodbye as she rushed outside the door.

"Thank you for having us." Dorothy said before closing the door.

Once they were back at the Canteen, Anna already went ahead of them to get herself the bread she loves, while they were walking Arthur grabbed Dorothy's hand and the two held hands.

"Oh by the way Arthur.. I felt something hard in your hand before the match yesterday."

He then shivered intensely as he then thinks to himself,

[I thought she completely forgot about that]

"Umm that was just a coin I b-brought with me." He replied trying to cover up what he was really holding then.

"Hmmm?."

She still wasn't buying it and was staring at him with suspicious eyes.

"Ummm excuse me.."

A girl with a soft, young voice tapped Dorothy's shoulder, She turns around and sees a girl younger than her holding a man in a wheelchair.

"Can you please move away from my brother." She smiles at Dorothy.

"B-Brother??." Dorothy uttered.
