Chapter 55: The Villain on trial

He was closing his eyes, lost both his arms, He thought to himself [What happened?] Tracing back his steps, he then remembered the last thing he saw was Arthur, his fists were clenching as he thought [Now I remember, It was that brat who did this to me!] He was slowly gaining conscious, he could see the light in front of him.

[I-Is this... where I end?] he could see more clearly now as he was in the operating room, the Doctors were placing something in him as he fell right back unconscious.

Three weeks later...

The last thing he remembered was being at the hospital, he was slowly opening his eyes, but the scenery was different, there were grasses and tress in his field of sight, as if he were outside, he opened his eyes with a shocked expression, breathing heavily to see the outside, or so he thought.

He reacted seeing both his arms intact, He was so sure the Heroes back then cut both of his arms, he saw it with his own eyes, he turns the arms around and moves them around, clenching them, doing the open and close thing.

Realizing the situation they were prosthetic arms he stood up from the tree he was laying under in and heard a voice coming from their heads,

"Hello!? I believe everyone's ready!."

[What the hell is this? It's coming from my head]

"Good. Now to make it up the second floor you all need to do something."

[Second floor? aren't we outside? the hell does this mean?]

"For now try looking for other people within the area, if you think that person can be trusted you could both work together to get out of here."

[This really doesn't make sense, but did he just say there are other people here? Man, this just gets getting weirder and weirder by the second.]

Tazer walks around the area but sees no one in sight, he checks by the river to see anyone heading there, since the river is the absolute best place to wait for someone to show up.

Minutes have passed yet still not a person in sight, he thought to himself, [Maybe they got the same idea as I did *sighs* This is useless] He gets out of his hiding place and be the someone to go to the river for water rather than waiting for someone else to make the first move.

He went to the river and took a sip from the palm of his hands from the water he scooped up, but he was being cautious, yet with no one's presence here he believed he was the only one who thought about this as he hears the voice again from earlier.

"Ah yes, I forgot to tell you if you're still searching for a partner and haven't found one yet I suggest you hurry or they will catch you."

[They're seriously rushing us? I don't even know what's going on her----!]

He notices a girl's scream not far from where he is, curious he head towards the source of the scream but decides to observe at the moment,

There three guys cornering a girl, she seems like a ten year old girl Tazer thought, [Why is she here?] he was still observing the situation hoping to see where it all leads, he thought maybe it was a trap to lead others and kill them for something or so they could gain some information, either way Tazer wasn't gonna move until he's found the right reason to.

The three other guys goes in closer to the girl licking their lips, their eyes filled with malice and the intent to do something to the girl, the two grabbed held of the girls shoulder as the main one tried tearing her clothes, Her skin was revealed, licking his lips one more time he tried to get in closer to lick her smooth body,

"Geez, People like you ... *Punches the main guy* Pisses me off!."

Throwing the guy towards the tree trunk and making him unconscious from one strike from his left electrical arm, the prosthetic one he had were on the ground, meaning he can't use them when he's in battle otherwise they'd break if he did.

The two thugs let go of the girls shoulders and slowly backs away with fear upon seeing Tazer, with his right prosthetic arm and his left electrical black arm he turned around the two and let out a deranged cackle, giving the two a shiver.

One of them couldn't handle it and tried to stab him, he rushes in for the kill but Tazer was simply standing there, staring menacingly at the thug who was rushing towards him with the knife aiming at him.

He simply took a step backward dodging the attack and said,

"Are you serious? using a knife against me? of all people."

The attackers eyes were reflecting Tazer's face as the electric arm he formed from his power gouged out the attacker's eyes and kicked him towards the tree trunk leading him unconscious.

Enjoying the thrill of battle he let out a smile,

"Don't move or I-I'll kill her!."

"Gyaaaahhhh!!."

A knife was near the girl's throat as the last thug thought they were together, his smile turned upside down as he said,

"You're disturbing my moment."

He steps on the ground as it made a small crater a stream of electricity went behind the thug, electrocuting him in the process, he managed to let go of the little girl, now unconscious Tazer walks towards the girl and lends him one of the thug's coat.

"This stinks! *Bleh!*."

[Are you serious? I just saved this ki---! wait when have I ever used that word before?]

Frozen from his tracks Tazer was placing his right prosthetic arm on his face, confused and have no idea where he is, he was slowly loosing his mind, the girl asked,

"Are you okay mister?."

Tazer: Don't call me mister, the name's Tazer.

Annie: name's Annie, nice to meet you

Tazer notices and grabs a hold of Annie's left arm she raised her up and says,

Tazer: You really think I would fall for that!? Heh!?.

Annie was about to stab Tazer with her left arm, but since he noticed, he managed to stop the attempt, frustrated Annie then flails her right arm around saying,

"Fine! Fine! Fine! I'll work with you!."

Tazer: Work with me? oh right we were suppose to look for a partner.

He placed the girl down and went to fetch his prosthetic arm, the girl was confused on how he simply placed her down and not ask her why, but what she said was Indeed true that he'd work with Tazer for the meanwhile.

A few minutes later Tazer and Annie went to the river she then asked,

"Why are we here at the river?."

Tazer: You said it stinks right? we're going to wash it now [Strange, what the crap am I saying!?]

Annie: Oh I see *remembers her complaining about the stench and gets embarrassed*

Tazer stretches out his hand for the coat, Annie gave it to him without question, she then watched as he washed the dirt of the coat until it was plain white although still wet they had to sit and wait there for it to dry, He asks,

Tazer: What's a girl like you doing here?

Annie: I got captured by some hero who loves dogs

Tazer: Dogs!? Mwuhahahahaha

Frustrated she replies with anger,

"Oh yeah what about you! how were you captured!?."

Tazer: Faced four heroes, and four pesky teenagers! the worst part was that I was beaten by a teenager, so I guess I can't laugh at how you were captured either since mine was worse.

Tazer's brows furrowed as he wondered and asked,

"So you're telling me you're here because a hero caught you?."

She nods in agreement as she closes her eyes and lays down on a tree trunk,

Tazer: Where are we!? [If we're in here on what I think this place is.. this is bad!]

Annie: Where at the Executioner's tower, near the castle.

His worst fears were confirmed, in the Executioners tower they have to pass through the six floors of redemption, if they can't get pass the first floor then there's no hope of escape for them.

Especially since the only way for them to get out of there one way or another is changing for the better good, and Tazer has witnessed some villains who escaped the tower actually became good people, like they were brainwashed or something.

Tazer: [This is bad! I need to get out of here as soon as possible!]

Tazer fears that he'll never be able to see the outside, villains who are placed here and don't get to the outside stay here for all eternity, the test is for them to accept the changes they have to do or they could simply stay here for all eternity.

There were even some villains who Tazer knows who are stuck here so they might meet each other sooner or later but for now he was prioritizing himself to get out alive as possible, they both hear the voice again,

"Hey Hey! now I'm sure everyone has found their partners at this point, Can I request everyone to meet up at the tower, your cooperation is appreciated."

Tazer: Tower?

Annie: You see that one over there with the glowing blue torch?

She points out to Tazer where the tower is,

Annie: That's where we're suppose to be heading now.

Tazer grabs the coat and tries to dry it one more time and gives it to Annie saying,

Tazer: Lead the way.

A few hours they both managed to arrive at the tower safely, there were a lot of villains Tazer has heard about in the underworld, but he hasn't seen the ones he's familiar with, and they all have pairs with them, just from looking at them these people aren't someone Tazer could mess up with or beat them in a fight, whether he plays fair or not.

The tower door opens as one of the members of the Executioners comes out with a microphone on his hand,

"Hello everyone! I'm glad to see everyone has a pair, right here in my hand is the grail!."

It was a shiny cup in his small frail hand, it was empty, it looked like a fake piece of cardboard painted gold, but it was the real deal, It was as hard as a diamond.

"To access the gates to the second floor you need to find this small thing in the area, there's no time limit, actually you can try on taking it from my hand right now."

The speaker was indeed one of the Executioners, but was bugged Tazer was that he was a kid, a nine year old kid, who was so confident where he could simply be killed here and it'd be over.

As a pair plunged towards him, the first thug breath and released the flame from his mouth the second one launched water attacks, the kid simply looked above him and the attacks they fired towards him, were sent right back at the thugs.

The kid holding the grail appears in front of them and says to the other one who was wet thanks to his own power,

"You know humans have something called bioelectricity, since you're soaking wet I wanna see you cry for a bit and probably tweak yours just a little bit."

Electrocuted, he couldn't feel anything in his body, the pain he felt upon the contact the kid did to his face, he then kicks him into inside a tree while the other one who was burning from his own flames, was kicked unto the ground as if it were a falling debris making its way to the ground, or a meteor crashing unto earth, the crater wasn't huge enough to cause a huge explosion, but he was buried deep enough that only a tap on the crater and it would collapse burying him in the process.

"Anyone else?."

The villains in the area were silent, as they witnessed one of the Executioners power, they were stunned and simply decided to back off and wait until they start to look for the grail instead of taking it from his arms.

Annie: What did he?

Tazer: It almost looked like reflection.. no there's gotta be something more, where did the shock come from when he touched that guy from earlier.

He was in deep thought trying to understand his power but still couldn't figure it out, the kid raises the grail and says,

"You guys are no fun, oh well I guess it's time you do the searching, remember you can search for the whole day, or year for this thing and you won't even know if it's still here or not, I guess that's the thrill you villains wanted right? HAHAHAHA Enjoy!."

He threw the grail as far as he could, on the air some villains tried grabbing it as he says,

[That's a bad idea]

as the villains who tried reaching for it were all burned and turned into ashes as he leaves he explains,

"with flames present, the grail activates its effects to turn anyone into ashes so I suggest any flame users to refrain using your powers, just one inch of a flame will activate it."

He leaves and enters the tower, as the other villains in the other area rushed towards where the ring was headed.

Annie: Let's g--!

She tries to pull Tazer but he wouldn't move an inch, she tries multiple ways to move him, but to no luck, he was like a plant whose roots have already planted on the ground he then says,

"We'll be going but not now, the road is still filled with other villains out there, so for now let's wait here and let them kill each other first."

After hearing what he said, Annie agreed with it as she sat down on the ground, although the kid who was holding the first floor was staring at Tazer and Annie using the cameras he managed to installed. Tazer gazes upon the camera as he was shocked and says,

"Interesting, looks like we have a smart one in this batch."
