Chapter 27: Of a Hundred Personas

Someone was calling Sara on the phone.. "Word has been spreading in the underworld that they're looking for you." The Doctor said.

She flinched but wasn't panicking "What's the cause?."

"I'm still asking about that, so for the mean time I want you to lay low and stay hidden at all cost." He said "Don't worry I never leave this room anyways." She replied trying to ease up the mood.

"Alright then, I'll give you more details once I have them Goodbye." "Bye." they ended the call.

"Now is this you're doing or someone else?." She says to herself while she picks up and reads the newspaper from years ago.

"Scientist attacks Darkness group to save her friend."

"I wonder if she actually heard what I told her that time." She thought to herself.

Meanwhile Arthur and the rest were still at Carla's room.

"What happened to the villain anyways?." Arthur asks out of curiosity "Well I'm only going to share these to you four since you guys got caught up in all of this." Atalanta replied.

"He's being placed in the kingdom's eight squad." She said as everyone was silent and was confused to what she said.

"What Sis is trying to say is, there's an eighth squad that isn't revealed to the public because they're more for executing criminals rather than just putting them into custody." Aiden explained.

"They're called the Executioners squad, They only live to torment villains, thugs, thieves, anything that is called evil by the kingdom." He continued explaining.

"And all of the evil people get to stay in their tower, the only way to get out is to either beat all the squad members in each floor or to change for the better good and still beat all the squad members in each floor." Atalanta explained.

"What's the difference between the two?." Dorothy asked "If you beat all of them without confessing your sins you'll still be branded as a criminal, if you do confess them then you can have a fresh start in life." Atalanta replied.

"I still don't get it, couldn't they just trick the Executioner Members to think that they actually change?." Saya wondered "Well before they start the test all the criminals and thieves there get sprayed by a mist controlling by one of the Executioners and basically use that power if they ever do something bad." Aiden replied.

"What's the mist about?." Carla asks "The mist I believe shares the sight of the person towards the user." Atalanta said out of her own theory "So it's kinda like how the Tamer class can gain access to an animal's abilities, their senses and more?." Arthur questioned.

"Yes sorta like that." Atalanta replied "Sorry if we can't give you enough details about the rest, that's all we basically know of." Aiden said "It's just that we ourselves haven't seen them yet, none of the heroes have."

"I see and why's that?." Saya asked "Because their tower is located near the castle and we haven't been there in ages." Aiden said "Well for both of us anyway." Atalanta replied.

Atalanta reaches for her phone and a message just popped up "Aiden." She called him as he then knew what she was talking about "Alright it seems as our Captain has new orders for us, we'll be off now!." Atalanta said.

As they said their goodbyes Atalanta and Aiden were already outside heading towards the coordinates they've been sent.

"Hey Sis why didn't you tell them "not to get into trouble" this time?." He asked "Because if I did, they'd obviously get into trouble." She sounded sarcastic.

Once they arrived at the scene..

"What's that smell!?." Aiden reacted to the foul stench "A slaughter house." The Police officer walked towards them "What's this about Sir?." Atalanta asked.

"This is one of the Darkness groups bases." He said "And?." "They've all been killed." He said.

As the three of them went inside the empty base "They've been killed but by not any normal methods." The Police officer said as the they were seeing severed heads in hallways, peeled off masks, torn off arms and legs, gouged eyes and many more.

"Jesus." Aiden reacted to everything in the room "What could've done this?." Atalanta asked "We don't know yet,probably having a dispute among their ranks, or simple a personal matter." He said as he points out his flashlight to the wall and there were writings all over it.

"WHERE IS SHE?."

"WHERE IS SHEEE!?!?!??."

"Well we have no clue who or what their intentions are, but it's very obvious it's looking for someone a girl for sure but we just don't have enough data to go with." He said.

"So what do you want us to do?." Atalanta asked "Well we can't have you investigate this." Aiden then replies "We don't do that."

"So I'd like you two to guard these specific areas at night." He said as he gives her the map of what they believe to be bases of the enemy "So you think our mystery attacker would show up at one of these places?." She asked "We believe so yes." He replied.

"Alright Aiden you'll be place her--." "Oh yeah I suggest caution with encountering this person." The police officer interrupted them "We will thanks officer." Atalanta replies as he leaves the room.

"Dorothy I'm gonna go out, do you need anything?." Arthur asked "No I'm-- wait bring me an ice cream." She said while giving him the puppy eyes "I haven't even said no yet and you're giving me the puppy eyes, But I will I'll be back soon Dorothy." He said as he left the room.

Meanwhile Elizabeth was in an alleyway having a duel with someone..

"What were you going to do to the kid!?." Violet asked "A hero? No, a nobody has appeared, It's non of your business what I'll do to the kid and you don't even know what you're talki--."

"AND YOU'RE A VILLAIN AREN'T YOU!!." Violet was enraged

A few minutes ago..

Elizabeth was walking in the street as she saw a little girl brought a woman in an alleyway..

"Please Ma'am I don't have any money please." The little girl begged for money "I'm sorry but I don-."

"LIAR!!! I SAW YOU BUY LOTS OF CANDIES AT THE STORE!!." She yelled out and Elizabeth arrived at the alleyway and replied "And what if you did?." the woman then found the opportunity to get out of there "Who are you? do you have money?." She asked "Not even a penny." Elizabeth replied "Then stay out of this." She exclaimed.

"Asking others for money isn't always a good thing you know." She said "What am I suppose to do then?."The Little girl ask as she was slowly reaching for her pocket "You don't have to do this." She said.

"This is how it is!." The little girl then draws out her knife not until one of Elizabeth's clones grabbed the little girl, pinned her down and broke her dominant arm.

"You really shouldn't be holding these things." Elizabeth examines the knife the girl uses and throws it away "I-I-I'm sorry!! I'm sorry!! please don't kill me! I just needed the money! my Father's sick I need it for the money!." She begged as she was in tears.

"Then you shouldn't ha-." She notices Violet approaching her and dodges her strike.

"You're safe now, go!." Violet said to the girl as she runs away from them.

"What were you going to do to the kid!?." Violet asked "A hero? No, a nobody has appeared, It's non of your business what I'll do to the kid and you don't even know what you're talki--."

"AND YOU'RE A VILLAIN AREN'T YOU!!." Violet was enraged "Geez loud people like you aren't really my type." Elizabeth says as she summons a few of her clones.

Violet was blocking every strike and bullet they'd attack her with "What are these things!?." Violet exclaimed "So mean calling my other selves as mere objects." Elizabeth replied, but with all the clones, Violet still managed to defeat them all.

She was clenching her fists as Violet was still standing without a scratch "Looks like this is going to be fun!." She rushes towards her with a deranged smile.

As the battle waged on Elizabeth fired multiple shots while Violet leapt from side to side to dodge the bullets "Stop moving will you!!." Elizabeth yelled out as she then dashes towards Violet hoping to get a strike.

The two were in a lock as Violet noticed Elizabeth *Sniff *Sniff "You are a girl!." She says with a smile as Violet tries to shake her off and backs away "This is a first I've seen a girl with armor before." Elizabeth said as she licks her blade "Disgusting!." Violet said.

Arthur was walking by and heard some people talking about a fight in an alleyway "Alleyway?." Arthur thought to himself "A girl with pigtails was fighting someone in an armor." Random person said as they passed by "It can't be." Arthur thought to himself as he heads towards the alleyway to see for himself.

Violet was trapped as she was grabbed by Elizabeth's clones "Nowhere left to run!." Elizabeth said as she stopped right at her throat. "Do it! Kill me!." Violet said as she was willing to be killed than captured.

"Lucky for you I'm not a villain, and if you'd listen to me earlier this wouldn't have happened." Elizabeth said as she disperses her clones and let go of Violet "What's your game here?." Violet asked "That girl almost killed a woman before you came, I just wanted to correct her path." Elizabeth explained.

"By breaking her arm?." Violet replied as she received a text "Aren't you gonna pick it up, I bet it's important." Elizabeth said.

Violet checks her phone and it was a message from Xander:

Violet we have everything we need for the rescue we need you back here now.

"You better go." Elizabeth said as she slowly walks out of the alleyway and saw Arthur across the street all sweaty and gasping for air.

"Tchh what's wrong with that woman?." Violet said to herself as she walks out and heads to their base..

Arthur and Elizabeth went to the park and sat on the bench..

"What was that all about?." Arthur asked "Just a little misunderstanding that's all." She replied.

"What is this weird feeling I'm getting just by talking to him?." She thought to herself as she was getting nervous.

"Well I'm glad you didn't get hurt." Arthur said Elizabeth agrees "Hey Ar-." "well I still have to go buy some food at the convenience store.. oh what were you about to say Elizabeth?." Arthur asked "Oh no, It's nothing." She replied "Well it might get dark soon so what are you gonna do now?." He asked as he got up "I'll stay here for a little longer." Elizabeth replied by giving him a warm smile.

"Alright, see you later Elizabeth." She waved goodbye as Arthur already left.

"Why is my heart beating heavily all of a sudden?." She asked to herself.

"I don't understand this.. why isn't he leaving my head.. I don't know what to do." She thought to herself as she laying down on the bench.

Meanwhile..

*KNOCK *KNOCK *KNOCK

"I'm coming! geez can people even still wait one of these days." Sara said in a grumy tone.

as she opened the door she was immediately captured by an assassin "You're coming with me." The Assassin said as he hits her neck and carries her.
