Chapter 2

"Would you like some tea, miss Bunny?" May said in her lowest voice.

"Thank you, miss Hippo."

May was playing in her room. The walls were blue and yellow and right next to the door there was a big red bowtie made out of paper mache.

Brother bear was sitting in a large truck on the other side of the room. May picked up miss Hippo and miss Bunny.

"Is brother bear at work again?" miss Hippo asked.

"Always working that bear, I wish he would be more at home to play with the kids," miss Bunny said.

May paused, looked at the bear on the other side of the corner and looked back at the two stuffed animals.

"May, come and see this!" Sam yelled from downstairs.

May lowered miss Hippo and miss Bunny, stood up and walked towards the door. At the door she gave one last look at brother bear.

"Hurry up, slowpoke!"

May ran down the stairs as fast as she could.

"It's finally done!" Sam yelled in excitement.

Sam grabbed May's arm and took her outside.

"Where are going?" May asked.

Sam put May's hands before her eyes.

"No peeking."

Sam pulled up the garage door.

"Remember the old bike I got from grandpa?" Sam asked.

Sam moved down May's hands. May gasped at what she saw. The old bike, but now it had a sidecar attatched.

"What is that?"

"Now we can drive around town in this thing when I have to watch you again," Sam replied.

"Dinner time!" Mom yelled from inside of the kitchen.
