17. Amira Run Away

When Amurwa was chatting with Andika because he found it funny when Andika was in his room at the mansion, Padmasari was alone in the bathroom. She really felt left out. Her husband, Mr. Kusuma, did not want to look at her, let alone talk to her. Many times Padmasari greeted him, but Mr. Kusuma didn't care at all.

"Oh my God, do I have to be this crazy to see that my husband won't greet me at all? Wouldn't it be better to leave when I wasn't considered there anymore?" She immediately took out her cell phone which she put in her pocket and sent a message to her best friend, Maira.

"Are you busy, Maira? I need your help." After a few minutes of waiting, Maira replied to Padmasari's message. Padmasari smiled when Maira's answer really pleased him.

"I am relaxing. I just got home from work. What is wrong?"

"I don't know what to say to you, Maira. I'm upset with my husband who ignored me for a long time."

"Ha ha ha, looks like you need to teach him a valuable lesson." Padmasari widened her eyes when she got an answer about a valuable lesson. In her message Maira gave detailed advice and Padmasari smiled and nodded. After making an appointment to meet Maira at one of the biggest malls in Jakarta, Padmasari came out of the bathroom. She strengthened her heart to teach a valuable lesson to her arrogant husband by following Maira's advice. The best friend who has always helped her since she was in high school. Padmasari stepped into the dressing room. She took her wallet and put it in her trouser pocket, then walked out of the room. When she saw Padmasari walk out of her room, Mr. Kusuma looked at her and tried to follow her footsteps with the corner of his eye. Mr. Kusuma sensed that Padmasari was about to do something strange, but he had no intention of finding out. His tired body and his annoyance at Andika is his priority to fulfill. He lay down and ignored everything.

When Padmasari reached the basement, she immediately took her bag and walked towards the car park and asked the driver to take her out to the mall where she made an appointment with the excuse of wanting to buy personal necessities. The completely unsuspecting driver preferred to comply with Padmasari's wishes.

"Does Master Kusuma allow Madam to go alone?" The driver, who is now driving his car at a moderate speed, is now looking in the rearview mirror, trying to find out if his employer's wife is sad or happy. The driver sighed. He understood very well when he saw the sad face that Padmasari always displayed every day. He felt concerned to see Mr. Kusuma's family was awash in wealth but did not show harmony at all.

"Will you be inside for long, Madam? If it's long, I'll drink coffee at the shop first, madam." "Okay, Amir. I'll be right in now. You can go home first, later when I'm done I'll let you know." Amir, the Padmasari family driver smiled and nodded. When Padmasari allowed him to go home, he was very happy because he was watching the Indonesian national team match against Bahrain.

"All right, madam. I will go home first. I will always wait to hear from you when the shopping is done." Padmasari smiled and then walked in leaving Amir still unmoved. Padmasari looked around in all directions looking for Maira, but she immediately gave up. She immediately walked to the ATM machine to withdraw money because she did not want to be tracked by her husband. "Where are you? What took you so long?" Maira's message was just read by Padmasari who had just come out of the ATM. She immediately typed a message and sent it to Maira. Maira asked her to wait at Cafe Pelangi so that Padmasari would not go too far from the ATM machine where she withdrew the money. When Padmasari entered the Cafe, she did not find any empty seats there. She gave up her intention to eat and just stood waiting for Maira to come.

"Why don't you come in, Padma? Did you deliberately wait for me and enter together?" Padmasari shook her head. Instead of explaining that there were no seats inside, Padmasari instead invited Maira to leave the cafe and head for the parking lot. She quickly turned off her cell phone and put it in her pocket.

"Let's just eat out. Not here. I'm afraid my husband's bodyguards will follow me everywhere." Hearing the husband's bodyguard, Maira smiled wryly. She knew Padmasari's arrogant husband would not forgive them if they made the slightest mistake.

"Is it okay if you do all my advice?" Padmasari shook her head. She who was annoyed with her husband had made up her mind to teach Mr. Kusuma a lesson. An arrogant man who only wants to win alone and has no heart.

"Take me away from that demon palace, Maira. I'm tired of my normal life. I'm willing to die even to get out of his torment. I'm tired, Maira." Maira nodded. She knows Padmasari is not the type of woman to give up easily under any circumstances, but her current life forces her to do things out of the ordinary.

"Good. I will help you as best I can. I know this is not an easy thing because I too will receive a far more terrible result than what you will receive."

"I'm sorry for always burdening you with the problems of my life." Maira shook her head. She led Padmasari's hand and walked towards the taxi she had just ordered via the app. A few minutes later, Maira managed to bring Padmasari out of the mall where they met. They asked the taxi driver to take them to the airport, where they were already there, Maira's men. They will leave Jakarta for Yogyakarta. Arriving at the airport, Maira reassured Padmasari once again. She looked at the face of her friend who was crying looking at the plane that was ready to take her away.

"Are you sure that you are ready to leave your life of luxury?" Padmasari nodded. She had made up her mind and didn't want to doubt her decision at all.

"I am ready."

"Good. I will take you to the village where one of my maids is from. There we will live simply, planting rice, helping Dini's mother to the fields. You will not be white and smooth because there you will not be served. You have to serve yourself, how about that?" Padmasari nodded.

"What about Andika? Haven't you ever thought about how he feels?" Once again Padmasari shook his head. She did not think about what the future of Andika would be. She knew Andika would be sad to hear that she left the mansion and left him, but over time, Padmasari was sure Andika would understand why his mother left him.

"He will endure under Amurwa's tutelage."

"Who is Amurwa? New maid?" Padmasari shook her head. She immediately told Maira Amurwa's identity. Mira nodded in understanding. Immediately, Maira invited Padmasari into a private plane that was ready to take off. Padmasari, who was ready with whatever risk she would accept, was determined to step foot and set foot on the steps of Maira's private plane.
