How Fortunate, Changes Were Made

Hi, my name is [Redacted], and I'm the author of this book.

Whether your one of my old readers, secret admirer, or someone new entirely, I'm glad that you could make it and I would appreciate any support you guys give moving forward. Personally though, I would like some constructive criticism comments, but that's up to you, I suppose.

In any case, if your someone new here, there's no real reason to read this chapter, but feel free if you truly insist.

However, if your someone who has read my previous book, then I suggest you look up the {discontinued} version of my old works and read the auxiliary chapter for more in depth information.

For right now though, I'll give you guys a little bit of insider information of how this book came to be.

For starters, back around the time I was making this book, I wanted to play around with some grand fantasy plot involving gods, mystery, magic, you know, that good shit.

Problem was it led to me being naive on how I was supposed to "properly" do it in terms of how I should structure this book.

One of the biggest problems I encountered was that I bit off more then I could chew which eventually made me realize that the plot got a little too crazy for my liking.

Long story short, I made this contest participating version of old works to restart myself from humble beginnings and hopefully write things that I enjoy.

Although I can say with certainty, that the main premise of this book is my own original idea, it has drawn alot of inspiration from other stories and games.

Classroom of the Elite and Tomodachi Game are one of the biggest factors when it comes down to the first few volumes of this book in particular.

Another problem that my discontinued version encountered was advertisment.

Sure, we were able to get to around a rough 74k, (at time of writing), but the view count wasn't as consistent as I wanted it to be.

A close friend of mine eventually recommended me to try writing a new book in the contest and build clout from there. Problem was, you can't insert old books into new contests. They have to be freshly new.

And while it's true, I got other books in the making that I want to eventually write, I feel the most comfortable and efficient when I focusing on one book in particular without needing to stretch my brain thin.

Course, I could have just copy and paste the old chapters on to a new format, (which is literally what I did), but at the time, I didn't want to restart the view count back from zero and wait for it to grind all the way back up.

As such, I was left conflicted, only able to consider the idea. But I guess, in the end though, as you can clearly see, I succumbed to the latter option and made this happen.

There was also the fact how the discontinued version on my book felt awkward in terms how I wrote the chapters chronologically.

I won't exactly go into depth since I don't want to spoil any potential newcomers, so all I will say is that I feel alot more comfortable and confident by starting this book in a school setting and enjoying what I write before I eventually branch out into other bigger plots.
